Envy Salon...What an Awesome Experience! 3/9/2011

My wife kept trying to talk me into a manicure and I gave in. In hindsight I think she was just looking for a way for us to spend the day together in a salon. She had a friend that told her great things about some of the hair salons in Round Rock Texas. One in particular, the Envy Salon caught her attention so we scheduled an appointment. I was really blown away. The salon staff was just as nice as could be and did their best to make us feel comfortable. The manicure experience was very relaxing and the end product was a lot more attractive to my wife and when I'm meeting with clients. My wife got the keratin treatment. She just looked way beyond awesome. She's already scheduled a manicure and pedicure for next week and I'm thinking about going back for a mens haircut. If you're looking for best salon round rock has to offer go to Envy Salon. more

Definitely one of my favorite spots! 3/9/2011

Very nice atmosphere... the ambiance is what a salon should be... upscale and chic. The rates are more than fair, and they have never disappointed me. Since the new management you immediately see that the customer service is much better. I get regular highlights and its done to perfection every time. I love the whole feel of being welcomed and treated like one of the family. Definitely one of my favorite spots. more

Very nice atmosphere... the ambiance is what a salon should be... upscale and chic. The rates are more than fair, and they have never disappointed me. Since the new management you immediately see that the customer service is much better. I get regular highlights and its done to perfection every time. I love the whole feel of being welcomed and treated like one of the family. Definitely one of my favorite spots. more

I followed my old stylist, Julie, to her new location at Envy Salon and applaud her for her excellent choice to seek employment there. It wasn't a far drive from north Austin and was easy to find right off the interstate. Parking was free and surprisingly for a ""downtown"" location, not a problem to find. The owner himself greeted me at the front desk and offered me a refreshment of my choice (including a glass of red or white wine). The atmosphere was very pleasant, the music wasn't overtly loud or awful like you will find in some salons. The price was actually quite reasonable compared to what I was expecting for the location and environment. more

Envy Salon Does Great Hair 12/28/2010

When I went into Envy Salon for the first time, I was greeted with smiling faces. It was warm and energetic and beautifully decorated for the holidays. I called last minute for an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in. I am always a little nervous when I try a new salon but not this time. I love the color and cut that I got and I will definitely be a repeat customer. Their stylists are fantastic and very knowledgeable- The best part is they are not pretentious or stuffy and their prices are very affordable. This is the type of salon you can take the whole family to! more

I was reading the past bad reviews for this salon...No more gripping about the old owner or her daughter, they are gone! There is a new owner now. I was talking to him when I got my hair done the other day. Very nice guy! He was telling me his plans for the salon and they are going to make it full service! Yippie! It is a great historic building with alot of character int eh heart of Round Rock. He is currently redecorating it so pardon the mess but it sounds like it is going to be awesome! They are going to hire some new talented hairdressers even though I LOVVVVVEEDDD mine! Katherine Paige was her name! She has lots of experience and had fresh ideas for me. My highlights looked flawless! I have gotten lots of compliments!I have not been this happy with my hair in a long time! I defiantly recommend this salon and Katherine Paige! I have always been very very pleased with Eilleen who I've been going to for the 3 years. She always takes time to listen to what I want since I love to change things up often. I have always been very very pleased with Eilleen who I've been going to for the 3 years. She always takes time to listen to what I want since I love to change things up often. I always get my hair cut and highlighted and I just leave it up to her on what she decides to do. She is a very sweet and talented young woman! The salon is so pretty inside, always stuff to look at. The owner Mary has always been very nice to me. I always get a confirmation call from the receptionist a day or two before. To the person below, It's a good thing that this salon is busy enough and walkins may have to wait to be seen. Who would like to go to a salon with crickets chirping inside? Can't please everybody, as it is obvious to the last post, but I am a very happy customer and to me that is all that matters. Pros: great service, pretty inside, good location Cons: none more

Fantastic Every Time! 3/7/2010

Julie has been my stylist and colorist for several years now and I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. She does a super great job keeping my hair its original blonde (not the color it is now - but what it once was :). She is always on time with appointments and very efficient. I used to spend hours in the chair getting my very long hair colored, cut and styled - I love that she can do a professional, perfect job in such a short (relatively) time. Julie has been my stylist and colorist for several years now and I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. She does a super great job keeping my hair its original blonde (not the color it is now - but what it once was :). She is always on time with appointments and very efficient. She informed me I needed a color correction, but didn't tell me how much that would cost.. She did exactly the same thing that my last stlyist did, but called it something different & charged $80 more.. When I went to pay, she said it is $200 ( that didn't even include a hair cut & I was only in the salon for 1 1/2 hrs).. My hair looked no different than it did when I walked in the door.. Not one friend could tell that I had just had a color & highlights done, which was discouraging since I had just spent over $200 on it. I will not be going back there & recommend you don't either !! I called to complain to the owner. You'd think she'd offer to refund some of my money since I wasn't happy. But, SHE DIDN'T !!! Pros: none Cons: TOO EXPENSIVE for what they provide more

Raves for Rose!! 12/14/2008

I would like to highly recommend Rose Tong at Envy!!! She really pays attention to detail. I have never been so pleased with my highlights and my haircut also. No feeling of being rushed in and out, I got my moneys worth for sure. She goes above and beyond to get her clients seen. When I couldn't make an appointment at the salon and was in a pinch...
