Not happy. We listed our house in May and there has not been one person through the house. To add insult to injury, you can't get a hold of either Mike Sr. or Mike Jr. They don't return phone calls, texts or emails. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM! more

Innovative Marketing Worked 1/5/2011

After the completion of settlement, I'd like to thank Mike for selling my property at 13xx Barnett Street. I had it listed with a national franchise company for a year and they could not sell it. I reluctantly tried your innovative marketing plan and obviously it worked because we make settlement today. more

Recommended 1/5/2011

I had my property listed wtih another agent, who lived in the building, and it did not sell. The reason I listed the property with the other agent was I thought she would do the best job since she was a resident of this building. After my listing expired, I liseted the property with Mike Dunphy and the property sold with Mike obtaining a cash buyer. Not only did he get me a cash buyer but it sold with the highest recent sales price for my type of unit including a unit on the 20th floor, which sold for $7,000.00 less than Mike Dunphy got for me. more

Couldn't Believe the Quick Sale 1/5/2011

When my phone rang and Mike told me that our house had sold, I thought he was joking. We had just listed the house that day and just barely got back to our home in the Poconos before he called. We had it listed with Coldwell Banker for a year and RE/Max for a year and we thought we would have it with Mike for awhile. I wish I would have listed it with Mike first. Thank you for the great job. He was recommended to us because he sold their house in two days and we will certainly recommend you for selling our house in a couple of hours. more

I received your package enclosing letters from happy clients stating that their former Realtors could not sell their property and then they listed with you and their property sold. Worked Out Well for Us 1/5/2011

We want to thank Mike for selling our home so very quickly with very little inconvenience to us. My wife and I are completely amazed at the swiftness of the sale of our home. It sold with Dunphy in about nine weeks after being on the market approximately two and a half years with other realtors. We did not get much progress from them so we made a major decision to go with the largest independent realtor in the city. It worked out very well for us. more

House sold quickly and loved this realtor 1/5/2011

I listed my property with Mike after receiving a letter from him telling me of his over 45 years of experience and the fact that he had been teaching real estate for over 30 years. I also received the letter from other satisfied clients. Well you can add me to the list. I had my house at 49xx Griscom Street listed with a major franchise company and they could not sell it. It took only 1 week and I was brought a cash buyer and we went to settlement 13 days later. more

Recommended 1/4/2011

Mike got us to settlement and I want to thank him. The first two agents tried for two months to get the title issues resolved but they could not do it. We asked you to help us and 10 days later we were at settlement and got our check. We asked you ti help us because you teach many other agents real estate and we knew we needed a Pro. Don't believe the bad 10/29/2010

I just had a very positive experience with this realtor. I read all these reviews before I hired Mike Dunphy to sell my house in Chestnut Hill. I chose to believe the positive reviews and judge him for myself. I had a very pleasant time selling my home. Not only did Mike correspond with my husband and myself on a regular basis, he was extremely informative in helping us purchase our current home. Its a shame that some people are so negative and seemingly out to destroy someone who is trying to make a living. Mike sold our home in thirty days, which in this market is a miracle, and he was very knowledgeable in all aspects of our deal. Thanks Mike and I hope to do business with you again. Stan and I have recommended you to our friends. I hope people will do as we did and judge you for themselves and not follow these nasty unfortunate comments. Best Wishes. more

Great Realtor -Knowledgeable and Professional 2/16/2010

I have bought and sold houses with Mike Dunphy over the last 35 years. I have found him to not only be the most professional realtor but also the most knowledgeable I have met in the business. Mike Dunphy was also my real estate instructor when I attended real estate school at the Temple University Real Estate Institute. Mike now has his own real estate school, The American Real Estate Academy. I have friends who have attended his school and have also found him to be incredibly knowledgeable and Mike has set them on the path to a real estate career the right way. I have recommended Mike to many, many people over the last 35 years and have never had a complaint, to the contrary, the feedback I received was quite flattering to Mike and his company. Knowledgeable Realtor 2/2/2010

I happened upon this site and when I saw the negative comments made about Mr.Dunphy I felt obliged to write of my own experiences with Mike Dunphy Sells Real Estate. I first did business with Mike back in 1980. I went into the office on Oxford Avenue to list my home for sale. I was so impressed with his knowledge of the business and his enthusiasm that I attended Real Estate school at Temple University, where Mr. Dunphy was teaching. Due to personal circumstances, I never took my test but I have used Mike for all of my real estate transactions since 1980. I have never experienced any of these supposed circumstances that occurred and was so upset by the terrible things that I called Mike to let him know of them. He informed me that they were disgruntled employees that had been fired for incompetence. I hope people take the time to read all of the reviews instead of these terrible lies. My experience with Mike and his company has been one of knowledge, professionalism and courteous service over the 30 years I have known and used this company for all of my real estate needs. Don't believe everything you read 10/16/2009

I have read the reviews below and not only are they inaccurate but I think they are made up. First, the girl who wrote about attending real estate school is not only wrong but seems to be sour grapes. You do need to pass both real estate courses in order to take your state exam. The only people made to retake their tests are those who have failed. They cannot purposely be failed. And most importantly, the courses were $185.00 each, not $600.00. That is a blantant lie.Secondly, I not only attended this particular real estate school but I have had quite a few transactions with this company. Mr. Dunphy was not only 100% professional but more knowledgeable than any other agent I have dealt with in this industry.
