I worked as a secretary for Mike Dunphy.. 9/17/2009

and he is bound and determined to rip off as many people as possible. First off, he refused to pay me legally. He paid me under the table and it always made me a bit uncomfortable. He also has a ""real estate licensing school"" and uses this to lure in new agents. He says that if you take the course its $600 and you are not guaranteed to pass your exam. You also have to pass the practicals portion to even take the licensing test and I have seen him fail many people just so they have to pay for the course again. He also gives the agents that agree to work for him after they finish a break on the tuition. Pros: guaranteed to get screwed over Cons: where to begin.. more

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE !!!!! 8/7/2009

I see the comments below regarding Mike Dunphy Sells Real Estate Office and its sad to say that its very true. I started my real estate career working for this Broker and I initially paid out of pocket for my own website and advertisements. For weeks I have not recieved a single call from any prospective clients. One day I was at the office and I tried calling the number on my website and ads, and I found out all my calls somehow were redirected to the Broker !!!!! Anyone planning on using a realtor, always be aware and careful. You never know what people are capable of. Pros: hmmmmmm........................( Thinking realllllly hard) Cons: Omgosh where do I begin!! more

BEWARE OF THIS SHADEY REAL ESTATE COMPANY 2/20/2009

I had been looking for a condo downtown and stumbled accross Mike Dunphy Sells Real Estate. I called the office and made an appointment to come in a speak with someone. The gentleman I spoke with was not friendly and acted as if I was disrupted his lunch. We spoke and with no help I left confused and felt as if I had just wasted my time. I did however run into the owner of this company who to my shock was nice but looked like some type of a mobster/gangster. My advice to anyone who wants to go thru this agency is : Cons: TOO MANY more

I was so disrespected in this office by not only the staff but by the owner himself. After 5 minutes I walked out. Pros: Absolutely None, how are they still in business Cons: Exactly: CON ARTISTS!!!!! more

THIS MAN IS GUTTER TRASH. THE FACT THAT HE IS STILL IN BUSINESS AND PEOPLE PUT THERE TRUST IN THIS MAN IS HORRIFIC! IF PEOPLE ONLY NEW WHAT A SCAMMER AND SLIMEBALL THIS MAN IS. HE HAS STOLEN FROM SO MANY PEOPLE THAT HE SHOULD BE LOCKED UP BY NOW, AND EVENTUALLY IT WILL BE PROVEN AND HE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PEOPLE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE. Honest, Reliable and Hardworking 1/15/2009

I have had great experiences with Mike Dunphy over the last 20 years. My husband and I have used him for many real estate deals. I have sold and bought at least 5 properties through Mike and his company since 1984. His staff and agents were professional, honest and thoroughly in touch with us throughout the entire process from listing our home to settlement. My husband Jim and I highly recommend Mike Dunphy. Pros: Thoroughly professional and reliable, honest and hardworkng. more

Morons 5/22/2008

This outfit is a bunch of morons. I do not understand how an agency can operate the way that they do in this day and age. It is embarassing and downright stupid. I am glad that I did not let these clowns sell my house. Pros: Yeah OK Cons: I think my review speaks for itself more

Real Estate Agents to avoid!!! 12/11/2006

Not happy with the service...very unprofessional for such an important transaction. I was unhappy with my representative and disappoint to find out that he is part time. Pros: Good franchies name...offers many benefits tho those moving Cons: Bad local representation........... more
