Doug Gorton professionally faux painted interior walls (including a brick fireplace) and ceilings in our home, as per our interior decorator's design. We were totally satisfied with the subtle appearance of the faux painting and the quality of the work. His workers were friendly and clean cut. Exterior House Painting 5/15/2011

I am pleased with the quality of work in the repainting of the exterior of my house. Doug was professional and thorough in his initial discussions and the bid was detailed and professional with competitive, fair prices. There were some delays in getting started, but his crew was thorough, careful, and friendly. The quality of work and care around the house was very satisfactory. There was also good follow up by Doug to ensure satisfaction. I would definitely use Doug's team again more

Professional and nice! 4/6/2011

Doug's crew was great to work with. They did exactly what was asked for (painting of master bath) and in a timely manner. The paint job looked very good and I will be calling them again for more work. I'm used to painters that do not show up and when they eventually do they vent cigarette stench outside your front door. Not with these guys. They were very considerate and even gave me some insight on what they were working on. Doug himself comes in exactly on time, reviews what to quote (on many areas) and leaves in about 10 minutes. He's very professional and very fast. I got the written quote right away which swayed me even more to work with them.The reviews were what led me to his company and it appears that they are correct! more

Clean, Courteous and Fast 3/20/2011

I received Doug's name from several other folks that have used him in our neighborhood. Doug helped get our house ready to sell. He rearranged their schedule to accommodate the short notice and his crew did a fantastic job. They painted almost the complete interior and the front of the house. The mahogany wood door was restored and it looks good as new! They estimated that it would take three days and held to the schedule. I would recommend them to do any painting jobs you need completed on schedule. He gets the job done. more

Exceptional! 3/17/2011

I recently bought a new house and wanted some rooms painted before moving in. Based on the reviews, I decided to give Doug a try. I am very happy that I did! He came out to give me an estimate, which I had in writing before the end of the day, and then worked with my tight time schedule to ensure completion of the job before my actual move-in date. He gave me good advice on what sheen to use (which I love!) and his attention to detail rivals mine (for which I drive others crazy because I notice things others don't). I am a perfectionist, so when Doug noticed a slight sheet rock imperfection in one accent wallI once it was painted red, and then came back the next day to fix the imperfection and repaint the area, without me having to request it AND at no additional charge to me I might add, I was very impressed! My questions were always answered promptly and courteously. more

Save yourself time and the headache of searching 3/2/2011

If you don't want to have a bad experience, call Doug. Our house is a difficult house and I am a very detailed oriented homeowner. We initially paid another painting contractor 20% deposit for exterior paint. The work was never started. He was fired, refused to refund our deposit and now we are out that money. After viewing all the reviews, I decided to take the risk and call Doug on a Saturday; late in the afternoon. Doug came over the next day, Sunday and said we would have within 24hrs. a written bid. He also said should we accept the bid, that they typically start within 1-2 weeks and the crew stays until finished. more

Very Beautiful Interior Painting 1/26/2011

I was really blow away how professional my living room paint job was done and also how Doug Gorton Professional Painting re-did my fireplace. The crew is very professional and did a outstanding job.
