We would not go back. The 4 of us arrived 15 minutes late for a Saturday night reservation. We even called the restaurant to let them know we were running a little late, were told ?not to worry ? the table is yours until 9:30?. Our table was not yet ready when we arrived. We waited about 5 ?10 minutes to have it cleared. We ordered our appetizers and dinner promptly. The appetizers we served in a reasonable amount of time, but the dinner took at least another 45 minutes to be served. Less than ? hour after being served dinner, we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee, and that we would have to take it ?to go? as another party was waiting for our table. We were speechless. Our friend, a physician, who made the reservation and suggested Django, said very politely to the server, that the kitchen was exceptionally slow and was the cause for the delay. They apologized and gave us ?dessert to go?. While the meal was overall very good, but on the funky side, my husband could not eat his ? the salmon he ordered was raw, which was not at all what he was expecting. They overbooked and were understaffed in the kitchen, causing a line of people waiting at the door. If you plan to visit Django, be prepared to wait a long time for your meal, and be asked to leave before you are ready. Maybe a weekday would be a better choice. The food really is extremely well done and worth a try when they are not so busy. I would also recommend to the owners that if the kitchen is backed up, admit it, and don?t ask your patrons to leave their tables. It is shameful.
Pros: Interesting, Unusual Menu
Cons: Overbooked, Slow Kitchen, Small Restaurant, Qucik Turn-over
