I usually don't bother to post positive reviews. I'm always cautious about places that are this hyped, but I must say I was impressed. I expected small portions but left very full. I started with a complimentary appetizer bite of crabcake with caviar, then moved on to this delicious bread of which they offered to bring a second serving. My app was a fantastic goatcheese gnocci with mushrooms that was so exquisitely full of flavor, I savored every bite. My entree was the striped bass, which was prepared well with a balance of great flavor. Finally, we split a dessert of mint chocolate profitiroles, which was such a great topper to just a great experience. Not cheap but worth the bucks. This may be my favorite restaurant in Philly!
