Best

It had been 38 years since I had last visited Disneyland. I'm sorry that I waited so long. In its timeless fashion, Disney keeps delivering. I had fun just being a kid again. The ...

I worked at Disneyland in Anaheim 25 years ago. I go there occasionally and find it has gone way down hill. They don't keep the park maintenance up anymore and it is not as clea...

Never too old to enjoy 8/15/2002

As a local, Disneyland is always the first place to take a visitor from out of town. Of course, no one ever has to twist an arm, visitors always want to go there. Been to LA? Did you go to Disneyland? Of course! Pros: Fun, Did I say Fun?, No one has a bad time Cons: Crowded, Traffic getting there, Food is so-so more

It's a spendy world after all 8/7/2002

Except for the outrages prices, there is so much to see and ride at Disneyland. Children LOVE the characters. And there is a bit of nostalgia wherever you look. Disneyland has changed in the last 45 years, but it is still the same. Pros: family place, great entertainment Cons: prices, seasonally overcrowd more

The magic is there 8/7/2002

Disneyland is one of the best places in the world to go and forget about anything that's going wrong in the world. It provides a temporary escape that many people need to stay sane. The cast members are amazing. They go out of there way to make people feel good. My visits to Disneyland are always enjoyable and fun. Pros: wonderful attractions, family atmosphere, fastpasses Cons: a little crouded, some long lines, a little expensive more

And the park its self is great theres alot to do and if the rides arent for you theres all ways the shows, paraides and the atmosphere is the best part of the park. Yet still there still will never be antoher Disneyland and thats what makes it a one of a kind treasure. Pros: Fun, Great rides, best place there is Cons: a little crowded more

Disneyland after dark! 7/30/2002

Look, I doubt there is anything left to be said about this park. I grew up here, live here, worked at the Park and have familiy that threaten to dump my ashes over the place when I go. (Be sure and ask for a drink cover) I suppose what I enjoy most about Disneyland is how glorious it gets after dark. The lights, Fantazmic, the Fireworks. And during the Holidays... you can't find it's equal anywhere. And if you only have one time a year to go, go between Oct and Dec. See the *Nightmare Before Christmas* Haunted Mansion. If they had put HALF the care and planning of that attraction into California Adventure... the place would be packed. Pros: Landscaping, Entertainment, Variety Cons: Parking, Expense, crowded more

BEVERLY'S MEMORIES 7/30/2002

47 years ago this summer I spent the day at Disneyland with my Mommy & Daddy, I was 7. I have loved it from that moment on. Living near made it easy to go often. Then it was time to take my son, and years later, my 2 granddaughters. Now my new husband & I are 365 days a year 2 Park-Premium Passport holders. This was after he said he really didn't like Disneyland and I said, ""You've never been there with me!"" He tried it and we both love it now. Fastpass is the best thing that has happened since the ""E"" ticket. We loved the Haunted Mansion and Small World decorated for Christmas, and the WHOLE park for that matter. We also enjoy California Adventure, spent New Year's Eve there. Oh, by the way, last April, when we got married... We HONEYMOONED AT DISNEYLAND AND CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE. Pros: CLEAN, PREMIUM PASSPORTS, FASTPASS Cons: expensive food more

Gong Downhill at a high price 7/30/2002

I was born and raised in Calfornia and have been to Disneyland to many time to count. It gets more expensive every year. We never buy anything inside as the prices are outrageous. I dont understand how it is they keep the prices so high. With what they charge to get in you would think everything inside would be more affordable. We always take a lunch and drinks. Being that I have kids I have little choice but to go. They also let so many people in that the crowding is unbearable. Disneyland has indeed lost its magical air. (for a price you can try to capture its magic) Cons: Lines, Prices, crowded more

A Classic! 7/30/2002

What can possible be more classier place to take the kids when it comes to theme parks? Disneyland is the best! more

Great Rides, Great Place, Great Times 7/29/2002

Disneyland is still, after nearly half a century, one of the greatest places on earth. Although the crowds sometimes are a tough battle, and the food can be overpriced, Disneyland is still THE place to visit when you come to California. Be sure to catch the amazing parades, and rides for everyone. Pros: Creative Rides, Attractions for all, Safe place Cons: Food overpriced, Long lines in summer, Dirty bathrooms more

Buy the season pass. 7/28/2002

Disneyland hasn't completely lost it's magic. It seems that the only times we have available is during the weekend and most major holidays. Well, no wonder it's packed. Another reason why so many people complain is the cost and the fact it's a huge tiring experience. Well, my suggestion is buy the season pass. I know most people think that's reserved for Disney fanatics, which is not entirely true. Visit the park during weekdays for a couple of hours when it's not so crowded. Short trips to Disneyland also save you money since you don't have to buy 3 meals and snacks for the entire day. You don't have to walk all day long if you visit late in the evening during the weekend or weekdays. And there is something romantic about a quick getaway to the Blue Bayou Restaurant with your sweetheart. Pros: Season Pass, Blue Bayou, Romantic more

Magical Amusement Park 7/27/2002

This enchanting place we know as Disneyland, is definately a one of a kind. Characters come to life, great for kids to meet and even get their picture taken with. Numerous rides for all ages, including my 18 month old son. Hungry? No problem, decide what you want and it's sure to be near by. A must before you leave this magical place, the light show. Find the nearest curb, sit, relax, and enjoy this spectacular show. This is one place anybody and everybody should visit at least a couple of times to take in everything it has to offer. Pros: 100's of attractions, Numerous Eateries, Great enterainment Cons: Expensive, Parking, Crowded more

7 7/26/2002

Disneyland and California Adventure remain the premier parks in Southern California. They are clean and safe. Even though they don't have the rollercoasters that some of the other parks have I prefer the ambiance and attractions more. more

Pure Magic 7/26/2002

We took our 3 year old grandson to Disneyland for the first time and he loved it. There is so much for kids his age to do. Only Disneyland has rides that are exciting for adults and still safe enough for the little ones. We will definitely take him back again. Pros: Clean, Lots of rides, Great food Cons: Crowded at times more
