I was born and raised in Calfornia and have been to Disneyland to many time to count. It gets more expensive every year. We never buy anything inside as the prices are outrageous. I dont understand how it is they keep the prices so high. With what they charge to get in you would think everything inside would be more affordable. We always take a lunch and drinks. Being that I have kids I have little choice but to go. They also let so many people in that the crowding is unbearable. Disneyland has indeed lost its magical air. (for a price you can try to capture its magic)
