Disneyland is a fun time for pretty much anyone. I've never known anybody to have a bad time there. It's a fun place for kids, families, friends, reunions, whatever with whoever.
The rides are still great, though I would like to see more rollercoasters and more innovation in Tomorrowland (the recent changes just don't cut it). I miss the People Mover and the Skybuckets. They might not have been the most exciting rides, but they were a lot of fun for me. However, I like the new design at the Autopia a lot.
The only drawback to a day at Disneyland is the outrageous amount of money you'll have to pay for essentially third rate food. Your best bet is to hightail to one of the hotels for a better meal.
Pros: fastpass system, great employees, good discounts
Cons: summertime crowds, restaurants sub par, too expensive
