Best

It had been 38 years since I had last visited Disneyland. I'm sorry that I waited so long. In its timeless fashion, Disney keeps delivering. I had fun just being a kid again. The ...

I worked at Disneyland in Anaheim 25 years ago. I go there occasionally and find it has gone way down hill. They don't keep the park maintenance up anymore and it is not as clea...

The Happiest Place on Earth! 3/30/2003

Disneyland is the most fun you can possibly have in one day. It's definitely overpriced, and although the rides can get somewhat boring... the atmosphere alone is a day of fun. It's a must see for EVERYONE! Pros: great rides, cute atmostphere, plenty of parking Cons: expensive, always crowded more

What else is there to say 3/5/2003

When in LA you have to see Disneyland at least once. This is the place that spawned all theme parks and they have done it right and still have it. From Splash to Space Mountain to the Materhorn, there is something for everyone. Even when it is crowded they have a way to fix the long lines-with there express pass that holds your place in line. It is a good buy for the money since most parks charge the same as Disneyland Pros: something for everyon, great fun, great layout Cons: expensive, crowded, long lines more

Simply Wonderful! 1/30/2003

I have gone to Disneyland about 100 times and I never get bored of it. I love the atmosphere and the feel like a kid everytime that I am in the park. I really recommend this amusement park to anybody that wants to have a great time. Pros: Good parking, Good attractions, Value Cons: Crowded, Long lines, Too expensive more

It's Disneyland! 1/19/2003

Hello, it's Disneyland, the first real theme park, constantly changing and full of excitement. Not necessarily for teens (no TRUE rollercoasters), much great for families. For goodness sakes ladies, leave the heels at home, there's a lot of walking. Stop by and get a fast pass for the attration you can't live without seeing. Pros: good parking, a lot of attrractions, clean and safe Cons: expensive, always busy more

Disneyland is the best! 12/17/2002

Disneyland will always be my favorite of the Disney parks. Somehow it just feels more intimate than the Orlando counterpart ""The Magic Kingdom."" This is the place that started it all. Here, you get to see some of the attractions just as Walt originaly designed them. There is just this great, magical feeling that you get at Disneyland that I can't even explain. You have to go there and experience it for yourself. Pros: Friendly workers, Great rides, Neat fireworks show Cons: Expensive food, Some rides closed more

Still the best 11/2/2002

I started going there as a kid-I'm over 50 now and it's still the greatest place to go!!!!!!!1 more

I LOVE Disneyland!!! 10/14/2002

FUNNNNN!!!! 9/24/2002

What can you say. Disneyland is the greatest, funnest, and like always said ""HAPPIEST"" place on earth. I personally love it...BUT, (there is a but), the rides are mostly for the children, yet still very fun... Pros: Exciting, fun, fun,fun Cons: Prices are high, long lines more

disney girl 9/12/2002

i've been going to disneyland ever since i was 4 and i am now much older than that... i love disneyland even if your older than the kids it's a place you can be a kid and the environment is amazing. Pros: good parking Cons: expensive more

80+ Visits since 1955 9/11/2002

I love amusment parks and Disneyland is second to none, except for Walt Disey World, which presents a much different style, because, it is actually four parks. I like to ride the rides and sometimesd, I just like to sit and watch the world go by. I collect Disneyana ans ahve spent a day just visiting all the varios stores, especially the Disneyana store. Disneyland should be the ninth wonder of the modern world. Pros: Fun, Fun, Fun more

EVERYBODY LOVES DISNEYLAND! 9/10/2002

I think EVERYONE loves Disneyland! I've loved Disneysince i was little, and have gone at least twice a year, during the summer and winter. If you get a chance to go during the winter, DO IT! I think that their fire works and set-up is MUCH better than the typical summer they have every year. The only difference is the Parade, which to some is a BIG difference. This theme park is GREAT for families, couples and even just friends where they can be kids! You can get a few screams here and there, as well as some relaxing rides. Food is ok, nothing great. Some people could go to Disneyland and NEVER get tired of it, after the years i've gotten tired of it. Same ol stuff all the time. Anymore excitment then that? Pros: friendly people, good parking (shuttl) Cons: crowded, long lines more

Tops In Class 8/26/2002

As a child, my experiences of Disney were watching Wonderful World of Disney or the occasional movie. I wished that my parents would take us to Disneyland. After completing college, I took my own trip to Disneyland. I rode every ride I had wished I had ridden as a child. In fact, I was the child that I had always envisioned. I now have two small children (9 & 4) that both visited the magic of Disney in March. Even though the prices are expensive, as others have already pointed out, and the lines can be long on some of the more popular rides, the whole atmosphere of Disney sets it apart from other family vacation destinations. Everyone is willing to go to the extra length to make sure that the youngest to the oldest child (parental units) are well taken care of. Four thumbs up from our family. Pros: Characters (staff), Rides, History more

Disneyland Rules 8/24/2002

Disneyland Rules! I go every chance I get. They definitely have the best rides and atmosphere. And the people are nice, not like at some parks. Pros: Great Rides, Friendly People, Spurs the Imagination more

not worth the price 8/22/2002

I used to go to Disneyland as a kid and have a great time. Heck, I even went as a teenager and had a great time too. But I recently went with some friends and realized that it just wasn't the same anymore. As an adult, Disneyland doesn't hold the same appeal as it did many years ago. There's still nice things to see, fun rides to go on, and cool places to shop, but it's just not exciting anymore. What doesn't make it any better is that you shell out 50 bucks just to get in, and then you shell out a ridiculous amount of money to eat lunch, snacks, get sodas and water throughout the day when you're thirsty, parking, shopping, etc. etc. It's just not worth the price. If you're an adult and thinking about checking out Disneyland, just remember there's not enough to do to make Pros: fun rides, clean Cons: expensive, many loose children r, food prices worse tha more

excellent 8/21/2002

childhood dreams come true, the feeling is majic in the air. Pros: memories, fun, uniqueness Cons: price, lines more

FastPass is the best! 8/20/2002

The thing that impressed me the most on my most recent visit to Disneyland was the FastPass system. For the major attractions, you no longer have to wait hours in line! Instead, you insert your ticket in the FastPass machine, and it will give you a time to come back. When you return, there's a FastPass line and usually there's no wait! You go straight in! The thing to remember is that you can only do 1 FastPass event at a time, so plan accordingly. more

Disneyland is still #1 my my heart. 8/19/2002

While Disneyland may not have the scariest rides ever, it defiantly has the most unique. While some people may argue that some place like Magic Mountain is better, this is Southern California's must-see! It is defiantly ""The Happiest Place on Earth""! Pros: Family Fun, Fireworks, Fastpass Cons: Rude Adults more

Disneyland yes, but..... 8/19/2002

I don't know why Disneyland would charge separate admission to California Adventure. That's one reason I have not visited the park since January 2000. Walt Disney World have park hopper passes, why does Disneyland not have such a plan? Otherwise, I enjoy Disneyland very much. I would look forward to visiting California Adventure if only it would include admission to Disneyland. more

Safest Place on Earth 8/19/2002

Disneyland claimes to be the happiest place on earth. I can not argue this one way or another. It is a lot of fun. We had dinner at The Plaza and it was very afordable. Ofcourse I have heard other people complain about the prices, but once you figure out how much maintenance, customer service and especially security cost, it is a real value. Security is everywhere, both uniformed and plain clothes. I doubt that there is a safer place outside of the home. Pros: Clean, Friendly, safe more

Disneyland 8/19/2002

The Disneyland attractions are great for anyone. There are thrill rides, roller coasters, gentle rides, and gentle rides. I personally like Space Mountain and Star Tours. Facilities are clean. The park has great custodians and sweepers. The park is clean. You won't find trash on the ground. The value is bad in the summer. $43 is admission and in summer you can only get on 1 or 2 rides. $99 for So. Cal. Annual Passports are great though, I've had passports in 1995, 2000, 2001, and 2002. Pros: Clean, Fun, State-of-Art Rides Cons: Expensive, Long Lines in Summer more
