Dee's Doggie Den

My daughters dog almost died there a couple of years ago. I would personally stay away. more

Y'all, DO NOT take your dog here. \r \r First off, I dropped my dog off in front of another woman and she specifically told the manager that her dog cannot be shampooed in the face because he has a horrific eye allergy and could lose his eye. She picked him up, (also in front of me) and they shampooed his face! The groomer blatantly did not read the card about the dog and now the dog's eye is in serious danger.\r \r Then, I specifically told the manager that my pup needed a puppy cut, her ears cut, and to stay away from her bottom because she is sensitive. Not only is this the worst haircut I have ever paid for ($10 more than the website even states), they did not cut her ears, and shaved extremely close to her bottom. I had to go back (wearingly), make the groomer cut the ears, and complain.\r \r Through a door the employees go to are crates stacked 3-4 high and fans blowing in the room. Now I don't know if they place dogs in those crates, but it gives off a puppy-mill vibe. \r \r Now I am new to Dallas and took my dog here based off of the tons of raving reviews- but I beg of you people, DO NOT take your dogs here. They dangerously do not listen to the owners and may be placing your dog in serious danger. Do not let them get away with this for blatant disregard for the animals and just making money from the people of Lakewood. more

To All Those people out there that say how bad Dees is and how awful they are need to get a reality check and open up their eyes. HELLO first off i have been bringing all my pets there to her facility for a long time and the staff have always been wonderful and a big help. with haircuts really yall they even tell you when you drop off that if your pet is not to your liking to tell them and they will take your pet back and have the groomer fix it . they gladly fix whatever needs to be done and thats why i find all the bad reviews yall are writing hilarious. in fact it is ridiculous that you would think that it would be like your house and be immaculate and im sorry to say your in a fantasy world because dogs poop and pee and it is a play area for heavens sake they keep it pretty clean and. the staff including dee and mary greet me and my baby every time i walk in the door. I wouldn't trade this place for anything. Thank yall for taking such good care of us and i will forever use yall. a more

They have groomed my pup a few times now and I have zero complaints. Chloe always comes out happy, perfectly groomed and smelling so yummy!" more

So, I've been taking my two little babies to Dee's for months now. I receive the best service there. And my babies get the best service from the groomers. I really enjoy everything about this place. I feel like it's my all in one stop. I have had the chance when I needed to fly back home for an emergency and was unable to take my babies with me. I left them for a weekend and I could tell as soon as I got back that they had had their own mini vacation. It put my mind to ease to know they had been so well taken care of. And the prices are extremely reasonable for the service received. All around great place, great service, great groomers, and a definite recommend!! Thank you!! more

Took my shitzu in on a recommendation from a friend and was VERY happy with his haircut. I provided a picture and he was cut to the T. He seemed relaxed and happy when i picked him up. After my grooming place of 3 years closed, this will be my new grooming place for my dog.\r more

We've been taking our dogs to Dee's for 8 years. Wonderful experience. Open play can result in a doggie misunderstanding here and there, but our three pups would not be so well behaved or well socialized without Dee. Highly recommend. more

I have also done some training with them while my dog was being boarded for a week long vacation and I loved the lady that does the training. She is great and I need to do more of that. I'm a fan of Dee's...\r more

My dog loves Dee's. We take her here when we go out of town and when it is time for her spa day. I love that they are very careful about shot records being up to date, including something called bortedella which I have no idea what that means but it's not good if your dog gets it. My friend at work takes her dog weekly and she loves it. We watch them on the website cam at work and they are always having a good time. more
