Technicians were very professional and friendly. My only complaint is the drying time
RESPONSE FROM Crystal Crystal Carpet Care:
Thank you so much for your review. Providing you with a Professional, Friendly, Clean, Neat, and Comfortable Presentation is a Part of Our Foundation Principals.
Technicians are told by the Owner every day, twice a day without fail... "Be Professional (because) You Are Crystal Crystal Carpet Care!" - the very representative of the company to YOU the Customer. Yes, EVERY TECHNICIAN, EVERY DAY, TWICE A DAY - by the Owner. Without fail!
The normal dry time for the low moisture method is 2 hours or less. However, often time if the carpet has residue from other cleaning methods (particularly home methods or rentals) drying time is extended do to the fact that it takes extra effort to remove sticky, soapy residue. Another factor is cleaning frequency. If the carpet has not been cleaning in over 2 or 3 yrs or if there is extra heavy soiling, the carpet may need "extra love". This, as we say in the home may extend the dry time.
Also, high humidity is always a factor. This summer has been crazy, right?
Last possible factor is carpet construction,in particular Looped Nylon carpet. Moisture and soiling (that is always slightly oily or grease) gets trapped within the structure of the Loops. Soiling within the loops takes a little more encouragement to get to "come out a there". Those brushes we use really help. Also, the moisture (after cleaning) takes a little more time to "come out a there" as well. The moisture within the loops is not as exposed to the air as with cut pile non-looped nylon carpet. Result, longer dry time. Not sure if you had / have looped nylon carpet but I sure do. Careful, this does not apply to looped berber (olefin / polypropylene) - the hard stuff.
But, for sure customers who defer to and stay with the Crystal Crystal Low Moisture Method always find, 100 percent of the time...
1. Your Carpet Will Stays Cleaner Longer
2. Your Carpet Will Have No Sticky Soapy Residue to Dull the Carpet and Attract More Dirt (and extend dry time).
3. Traffic and Heavy Soiling Areas will not re-soil "faster" - they will re-soil much less; mostly like new carpet soils (with out help from sticky soap).
4. Your Carpet Will Dry in Two (2) Hours or Less (unless humidity is high). Oh, forget to mention. Stairs take longer because air does not move up and down stairways or along stairways very well. In my home the stairs do take longer. I also have that looped nylon.
5. Your Carpet Will Always Look So New.
So New Thanks!
