The service was very quick and they actually came a little early, which was nice. Carpet looks great. The only bad thing is I left money with my mom (who was at the house) for a tip, but then they told her there was a last minute charge for gas, so the guy didn't get a tip. Need to tell the customer up front about such charges.

And we most apologize. It seems with all the pre-service emails sent, you may have missed the attachment that shows all charges, including sales taxes and the small fuel charge (currently $1.70). The attachment, which is the official financial estimate, is sent to all customers automatically with each appointment confirmation.
There is text at the very top of the email, bold and in red, that advises customers to open the attached service estimate.
The online order confirmation also contains text that advises of the fact that sales taxes and a small fuel charge is added to the online price.
There are a few customers who are so happy (and so busy) to get their confirmation email with their service date and time that they read the email (and the email appointment reminder that comes the day before the service) that they miss or forget to open the attachment. What a run-on sentence.
This may have happened here.
Anyway, we are so happy for the opportunity.
