Our experience today with Cody (tech) was a great experience. He makes a service call very easy. He answeres any question we may have. Great service & very knowledgeable young man.

Worst

First call to them went ok till they told me it would cost $39 more if i wonted same day service then they charge for say the next day service . That right there should of raise...

Great experience 8/30/2016

I had an HVAC system that was not the best and put in very poorly. Cody explained all of my options and the benefits for each of the systems, and assisted in my choosing the one that we believed was best for me. George and his team were very good. Professional, quick, neat. They changed the configuration of my duct work and my house is cooler - particularly downstairs - with the unit running less and at a higher setting. I rarely use my ceiling fans anymore. The difference between what I had and what TLC installed is amazing and I thank all involved for a totally non-stressful and helpful assistance. more

TLC Tech. Mac came to check our A/C system not working during 98F temp.Mac diagnosed the problem replaced the burned part and made the A/C working that needed so badly. 8/18/2016

Tech. Mac was nice and polite and left everything neat and clean after performing the work. I recommend TLS services very high. more

Preferred Client Service 6/15/2016

I've used TLC since I bought my house three years ago as did the former owners. I was happy with their service and signed up for the Preferred Client service when I found out about it. Unfortunately, I think they may have gotten too many preferred clients and cannot provide quality service to them. They are supposed to call me to schedule the included twice-yearly HVAC tune-ups as well as the annual electric and plumbing checks. The plumbing checkup is supposed to include a water heater maintenance. I realized today that they hadn't called me for any of these services so I called today and attempted to schedule the HVAC service. Their first appointment was in three months so I had to schedule my first HVAC service in September. I scheduled a second one in December despite the protests of the scheduler who said it wasn't necessary because I was having one done in September even though two services are included. I then called back to schedule the plumbing inspection and water heater maintenance since they hadn't called me for that either and was told there was no water heater maintenance, they just made sure it worked. I haven't bothered trying to make the annual electrical inspection appointment yet which they never called me about either. The technicians who have come out to my house have been knowledgeable and efficient but I am disappointed in the way they provide (or don't provide) the services they advertise as being included in the Preferred Client program. more

Absolutely the worst customer service ever 5/27/2016

Our air conditioning unit went out the Wednesday before Memorial Day weekend. The technician said it was the air filter. We installed a new air filter but the air conditioning still did not work. The technician came out a second time. He said he would have to order the part. When we called (they did not call us) we spoke to the service manager. He said he would get back to us with an answer. He did not. He had the administrative assistant call who said it would take three weeks to get the part. We told her that was unacceptable. Efforts to obtain a call from someone higher up in the company went unanswered. No one called us. This was, by the way, an AC unit that TLC installed for us, that we had a service contract for, and that cost upwards of 20,000 dollars. They did absolutely nothing to help us out, leaving us without air conditioning for the next three weeks. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!!!! more

Love to Work with TLC 5/12/2016

I have had a great experience and have had them working on our house for regular maintenance and other issues for 5 years. They are fast, flexible and explain what is needed in layman's terms. I also find that everyone from the office staff to the technicians and plumbers are kind and wonderful to work with. I will also use them alway. more

Furnace Repair 2/14/2016

Our furnace decided to quit working on a Sunday, and the coldest day this winter. Not only did someone promptly answer the phone on a Sunday when we called, Cory was at our home an hour later repairing our furnace. While there was an extra service charge for today's call, which is understandable, the work was completed quickly and Cory explained to us in detail his concerns that we should address to keep our home warm moving forward. Thanks for great service! more

Fantastic service, great technicians 1/26/2016

This is my second review of service by this top-notch company, and I'm happy to say that they continue to provide the best service you can find anywhere. The technician, Martin H., came out on time, was professional throughout, answered all of my questions about the service on my three heating units, and addressed the issues I was having with parts of the house remaining colder than others. It appeared that duct sealing and mildew control was going to be necessary for my 23 year-old heating system. Martin explained all the options and helped me decide on one which would be the best without breaking the bank. After finishing up what he could that day, he promised to return on the very first day he could dig out after the blizzard had ended; and he was true to his word, despite horrible travel conditions.. When he returned, he brought with him Mark, another top-notch technician, to complete the job. They were thorough, professional, and friendly, and they exhibited great humor in dealing with the weather, the job, and a customer with lots of questions (no mean feat after driving in the snow from Fredericksburg!). It's obvious that this company maintains a wonderful, caring family feel about it, and that makes a huge difference between them and all the rest out there. Thank you, Martin, Mark and TLC! more

TLC Teams 1/13/2016

On 06 January 2016, I had two TLC teams working at my home. The first team came to install a newer, bigger humidifier to my gas furnace. The second team arrived about 1.5 hours later to clean my heat ducts which were still full of dry wall dust from my home having been built a couple of years ago. Both teams arrived exactly when they were supposed to, and the work took no longer than anticipated. Each team worked efficiently and as rapidly as they could without allowing professionalism to suffer. Upon completion of the work, the teams cleaned up after themselves and probably even left the work area cleaner than it was when they arrived. My wife and I were very impressed; we now have a yearly contract with TLC to do our heating and air conditioning maintenance on a routine basis. more

Excellent Service 12/30/2015

I called TLC on a Monday after Christmas as our furnace was not functioning properly and Corey came out that same afternoon and diagnosed the problem and stated that his installers could come out the next day and put in a new furnace. The installers came out the next morning and began to install a new furnace. The new furnace was not compatible with the duct work so a new, up graded furnace was delivered at no additional cost. While the installers were here, Tiffany, TLC's service representative came by to see if I had any questions, provide any assistance and see how the installation was progressing. I was pleasantly surprised at this follow up. She was polite, professional and either answered my questions or had the installers answer them. All of the employees I interacted with, Corey, Tiffany and the installers were polite, professional and knowledgeable and they should be commended. We have only had the new furnace in one day but it is a noticeable change (from our 15+ year old one) as we can hardly hear it when it "kicks" on. more

Job well done 11/7/2015

This is the third company in five years to service our heating and cooling system. To date I feel like I am getting what I pay for. The service ranging from those in the office to the technicians who perform the work are courteous and professional. The folks at TLC appear to understand that good service for a fair price is the key to a successful business. more

I don't usually do reviews, but wanted to say how pleased I was with this company-- from my first call inquiring about a specific service; to their reminder calls; and their great technician. The technician called me to say he was running a little late due to traffic, which I appreciated, but was still there relatively early. He was friendly, professional, explained some things in detail to me, showed me what he needed me to see, and did not try to 'upsell' me anything I didn't need. And they called me to check up on things and see if I had any questions or concerns. Very pleased! I will definitely use them for services in the future! more
