Being new to JacksonvilleBeach I decided to try this salon as I has seen a girl with pretty red hair and recommended the owner. She was booked up so they recommended a new girl Ryan to me who had come from Miami and didn't have many clients and was GREAT mixing color. She was very nice and wanted to put highlights in my hair as I wanted the roots lighter,and I declined. I asked her NOT to add any brown as my hair grabs color, and showed her pictures of stylists who had colored it brownish red before and she assured me she wouldn't. The first thing my son said was MOM your hairs dark, then the girl at Pubilix asked my I changed the color.I was so upset I called and she got on the phone and bantered with me instead of listening to me. She asked me to wash it a lot until I came in again knowing I have a Keraitn and they wash out,also knowing I wanted to come in for a wash and blowdry once a week as i cant straighten on my own. I called back and changed stylists,but then got a feeling of not wanting to go back in there again,especially as I was getting bombarded with generic emails, one being, if you leave us a gret review, you'll get a few haircut and blowdry along with recommend us to a friend and you'll get a free something else.That alone is bad marketing enough to scare me off and see why every single comment id 4 stars, I'm sure this one will be taken down.,I do not recommend this salon to any redhead unless you go the owner, and definitely not the new girl Ryan from Miami.
