I've been living in Circle Tree for 5 months now. It seemed like a good place at first. It was quiet, with a few families and tons of retired elderly. My boyfriend and I moved in ...

Circle Tree a nice place 12/25/2008

I love my condo at Circle Tree. I wasn't one of those stupid people who went out and paid way too much money for an over priced house and end up loosing it in foreclosure. I have a 2 bedroom and 2 bath condominium and I don't mind paying an HOA fee when they pretty much pay for everything. They cover the water, trash collection, yard maintenance, pool maintenance, master insurance, parking lots, roofs, management and accounting fees, new trees and bushes, outside electricity, and many many other things. Some people complain because they can't have large pit bulls in the community. These are the ignorant people who don't realize large dogs should live in houses with backyards and not be cooped up inside a condo. As far as an Association goes, this has to be one of the better ones. They enforce the rules but not to a point where you feel like you can't breath. They have some sort of Rules committee that goes around a writes up violations. I kind of like the idea of a committee of my fellow neighbors making sure the community we live in is a better place. For all those people who don't like to follow rules, please do not move here, we do not like you. Why don't you move to Mexico or go back to prison where you belong. I want my children to live in a safe place and don't want them to be around bad people. So Circle Tree is not the place where bad renters can come. They will evict your butt before you can say felony. These are not appartments, they are our homes, so respect my house or you will be gone.\r \r Pros: Very nice place Cons: Can't have a big dog more

Lived here since they were new 12/25/2008

Well I was one of the original owners here at Circle Tree when they were first built. This is a clean crime free community that is well looked after. My brother liked it so much here he bought a place here in 2007 and he loves it to. We have an awesome HOA that maintains the property as well as an onsite manager who is very good at his job. In all the time I have lived here it has been very quiet and very well kept ,sure its 20 years old but it still looks great. We have a Rules & Security Committee that makes sure property owners maintain their units and they also patrol the lots and take care of any security issues. There is a lot of community involvement here as well we have a great mix of people from all backgrounds young and old. I can't think of any other place I would like to live other than here. Pros: Very nice units Cons: small hoa fee more

Condo Life Rules 12/23/2008

Sweet Condos ! I just moved here from LA and bought my first home at Circle Tree. I see why the realtor billed the property as ""Resort Style Living"" The place is a little older then some other places I looked at but they were a lot less $$$$. Lots of pools great tennis court, handball court, basketball courts, and club house. I dig the cabanas in the court yards with the BBQ Grills. What I am very happy with is the nice grounds and the quiet. The onsite manager Andrew was so cool, he took me on a tour of the grounds and showed me where everything was including my own covered parking was. Thanks Andrew for all of your help keep up the good work !\r \r more

If the wife is happy so am I 12/23/2008

Just wanted to let you know what a great place Circle Tree Condos really is. After living in Texas all my life my wife and I decided to move to Arizona to be closer to my daughter and grand kids. I searched for a place to buy and came across Circle Tree. It was like finding the oasis in the middle of the desert, palm trees swimming pools lush green lawns and BBQ areas (Texans love BBQ) My wife instantly fell in love with the place so we had to buy it. Parking is awesome its covered and plenty of spaces for visitors. What a great location close to everything including the mall (can't tell you how happy the wife was about that) You can be any place in the valley in 20 min or less. What a bargain as well I was lucky to find one of the only foreclosed properties. I had never heard of an HOA fee before as we lived in a house, boy when I found out it covered all the maintenance trash and water I couldn't believe it. My water bill alone in Texas is what I pay in HOA dues. Talk about saving some money ! This place costs me 1/2 of what I was paying for my house before and I don't have to worry about cleaning pools, mowing the grass or painting the outside. Neighbors are so nice and friendly. I definitely made the right choice in moving to Circle Tree. \r \r Pros: HOA FEES LOW Cons: To close to the mall if you have a wife who likes to shop more

It's Great Here 12/23/2008

Circle Tree is a great place to live awesome and cool management team ! Andrew our community Manager is a great guy always helpful ! This is like living at some kind of resort always clean and very nice people. I locked myself out of my unit one night and a guy named Eddie helped me get in at 3:00 in the morning. I asked him what he was doing up so late he said he was patrolling as he is part of the Rules, Grievance and Security Committee and he always checks the lots at night. I liked the fact he checked my ID to make sure I lived in my unit before he helped me get in. Thanks guys you all just ROCK \r \r Pros: Clean Place Cons: HOA FEE more

What A Great Deal 12/23/2008

What a deal ! Never in my life did I think I could find affordable housing to own in such a nice place. The neighbors are nice and the place is beautiful and clean. I love sitting on my patio having my evening coffee and listing to quiet. Did I ever luck out on this deal ! Everyone here is so nice and the place is like Ft. Knox gated and a Security Committee that patrols day and night. After years of renting dumpy apartments where there were a borage of c r a ck heads its so nice to live in a place that's safe and quiet. Just wanted to say thanks to Andrew the HOA manager for showing me around and answering the hundreds of questions about the place. I find it hard to fathom a couple knuckle heads could write bad things about this place. Dave from the Rules and Security Committee said they are renters that were kicked out for noise and not following the rules. I cant understand why anyone would ever do anything to get kicked out of here, better there gone I guess. I plan to live here forever and a day ! Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

Circle of Friends 12/23/2008

I have owned at Circle Tree for 11 years now and just love it. I have a great circle of friends and neighbors and am proud to call it home. I pay an HOA fee and get my money's worth thats for sure. The onsite manager Andrew is so great and always gets the job done right. The community is clean and the people are just wonderful they even have little doggie stations for the dogs and supply the poopy bags(How nice is that) They have a security committee and they keep a great eye on the place. I feel safe here day and night unlike the condo I owned in Phoenix. The HOA will not knit pick over the small stuff they just ask for reasonable upkeep on your property. If you are thinking of purchasing your next home here I know you will be as happy as I am with my choice. Now is the time to buy and I bet you can get a great deal on a unit here.\r Pros: Great People Cons: Can only have one puppy more

Did not know 12/23/2008

I just moved in a month ago. The other day I went out to my car and it almost got towed. I talked to this great guy name Dave, I think he is on some kind of committee for the Association. He explained to me that the owner of my unit was supposed to have turned in some paperwork to the office 10 days prior to me moving in and that they would have given me a parking permit. Not only was I missing a parking permit, I didn?t realize I was not supposed to back in my vehicle. Luckily Dave gave me a copy of the rules for the Association so that way I don?t run into anymore problems. I was kind of mad at my landlord, he didn?t tell me when I moved in that the Association has a weight limit on dogs, my girlfriend was planning on buying a boxer for my birthday next week. In reality a condo isn?t the best place for a dog anyways. On the brighter side, I love my new place. The place looks great and it is close to my work and a million other things. I can?t believe how quiet this place is at night. It is Friday night and there is not a single noise outside in the courtyard. I am thinking about taking a dip in the clubhouse swimming pool, I heard it is heated.\r \r more

Great Management 12/23/2008

My previous employer used to manage the Association a few years ago. That company was such a joke and never did anything with the property. I felt bad for the association, but there was nothing I can do. I am glad that the board that was there at the time fired the management company. I now work for a new management company since my old company was shut down by the Chandler Police Dept. I drove by the complex last week and I was very impressed by the changes I have saw that have happened in the last year and a half. I never thought the association would ever have finished the painting project. It was delayed for quite a long time by some of the imbeciles that I work with. I don?t know what management company they have now, but they are obviously doing a better job with the property. I thought that place was a lost cause but I guess I was wrong. The State of Arizona should implement stronger regulations on these so called ?professional property managers?. The company I work for now, requires each of its employees to have at least one CAI certification. CAI stands for Community Associations Institute. Pros: Well Run Place Cons: N/A more

Great Deal Nice Place 12/23/2008

I used to live at Circle Tree and went to see my family over Christmas. I told my Mom I couldn't believe the difference. I told her likely her condo was worth a lot more money now than it was a year ago. The parking lot is cleaner and lighted. I noticed some new traffic signs which seems to have slowed people now from racing through the parking lot. The landscaping has been cleaned up along with the buildings repainted. There isn't trash everywhere like there used to be. I told my elderly mother not to complain if the HOA dues go up. It costs more nowadays to fix things. Also, the HOA needs money to set aside for continued improvements. As far as I see it, as long as things are getting done to maintain and improve things it is understandable if HOA dues have to go up. What doe\r \r Pros: Great Parking Covered Cons: small HOA fee more

There are Rules what a good thing 12/23/2008

The Association here is really cracking down on enforcing rules. At first I was mad because I got a tow sticker on my truck. I didn't even know I was required to get a parking permit. I felt pretty stupid when I saw all the signs at each of the entrances saying that parking permits are required. I have driven by the same signs for 5 years and never bothered to read them. Because of they are requiring everyone to update their information, they found several convicted felons living on the property that are absolutely not allowed to be here. Anyone with a criminal history is not allowed to live in our community. To say the least, the Association had those guys butts tossed right off the property within a week. I am glad that I live in a place that I feel safe. Thanks for everyone on the Rules Committee.\r \r more
