This whole team of drs is fantastic! They are compassionate, attentive, cautious, they really make you feel completely confident putting your health and your babies health in their hands. I just gave birth to my first child 3/14/12 and was delivered by dr. Reyes, he was awesome! I was admitted the day of my 40 week check up due to low amniotic fluid...about 11 hours after being induced the babies heart rate began to drop and dr Reyes was there monitoring her and assuring me that they were closely watching us and would not take any chances with her safety. Just one hour later he was back and my beautiful daughter was delivered safe with no complications. It was such as amazing experience and dr Reyes was a huge part of making it so wonderful! I would recommend this group of drs to any woman in the area, you will be so pleased with your decision. more

I had an absolutely wonderful experience using Bayview OB/GYN for the birth of my first baby. From my monthly to weekly appointments, to the actual delivery day, I cannot say enough how great all of the staff was at making my husband and I feel comfortable and well taken care of. Lucy did a phenomenal job birthing our son, and I can't thank her enough!! more

As a patient with terrible anxiety I venture to the doctors office with an extra ""bag"". When my husband and I found out that we were pregnant from Lucy and she officially told us, I felt like it was my medical nightmare. BUT with the care I received from Lucy, Darlene, Dr. McNeill, and Dr. Reyes; it was absolutely wonderful. They all took the time and made my pregnancy worry free and memorable. When it came as a surprise for an early c-section, Dr. Reyes was so personable and even made an operating room seem not so bad. Dr. Reyes made the experience! Not to mention he is an awesome surgeon! (No stitches or staples). I will never forget the kindness and patience they had with me. The entire staff, including Nancy at the front and ultrasound tech are wonderful. If I ever would recommend anything-it would be them. more

I have been with Bayview since August of 2009. They have been taking care of everything I need. Everyone there is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Reyes helped me get pregnant with 5 rounds of clomid and when it finally happened, everybody celebrated. I think I had just about every problem in the book: incompetent cervix which needed cerclage, progesterone shots to ward off preterm labor, complete placenta previa and gestational diabetes. He was there with me every step of the way. If I had an after hours question or concern, either he or Dr. McNeil got back to me ASAP and never made me feel like it was a bother. I never had any issues or concerns with this office and would highly recommend them to everyone and have. I can't say enough good things about them. No matter what the problems, they are always there and come up with solutions. I love them and will continue to use them for as long as I am in the Tampa Bay area! more

I have been a patient at Bayview since 2010 after needing to locate a new GYN. When my husband and I found out we were pregnant in April 2011 I again looked to Bayview for my OB/prenatal care. My very first appointment to confirm my pregnancy we found out we were expecting TWINS and due to the high risk nature of a twin pregnancy I had a lot of visits for the duration. I cannot tell you how incredibly wonderful the entire staff has been at EVERY visit! Nancy at the reception desk is always pleasant and very punctual. She makes sure to get everything in order right away which minimizes any extended wait time. Joellen (Ultrasound) was an absolute professional and a joy to see every time no matter how busy she was for the day. I was fortunate enough to see/meet everyone in the office beginning with Darlean, Lucy, Dr. Reyes and Dr. McNeill. Everyone was always so wonderful and made me feel very comfortable with everything happening. I was never rushed out after any visit and everyone made sure any and all questions I had were answered, leaving no doubts or concerns. On January 3, 2012 Dr. McNeill delivered our twin girls via c-section at Bayfront Baby Place and all I can say is he is the absolute BEST at what he does!! As nervous as I was leading up to the surgery (as I have never had any major surgery) the moment he walked into the operating room his simple ""how are you?"" and comforting hand on my shoulder calmed me and all of my fears went right out the window. I had complete faith and trust in him to take care of me and our precious baby girls. I can't thank the staff at Bayview enough for everything they have done throughout my pregnancy and I would recommend this practice and only this practice to anyone looking for OB/GYN services. It doesn't get any better or more professional than this. THANK YOU DR. MCNEILL and staff! We couldn't be happier with our experience! more

There are no words for me to describe how wonderful Bayview has been for me during my first pregnancy. From my first visit to my last, all the staff, nurses and doctors made me feel comfortable and confident in my pregnancy, delivery and care of my newborn. From the front desk to the doctors' chair, my expereince at Bayview was always excellent. The woman at the front desk was always friendly and cheerful which was a plus when I was 9 months pregnant in Florida's August weather! The woman who handled my account was very knowledgable and helpful which made the fact that I was ""self-pay"" much more manageable. The nurses were always kind and patient which put my foggy preganancy mind at ease. The doctors were nothing but the best - always very professional but also very personal. I appreciated the fact that they all got down on my level whenever I had questions or concerns. They always had the health of baby and momma at the front and center. This reassured me that I was always in the best hands possible. All the doctors are wonderful: however, Dr. Reyes delivered my little guy so I have a grand appreciation for him and the care I recieved during my last few pregnancy weeks, delivery and postpartum visits. Also, I have been a GYN patient of Bayview for years. I cannot say enough about the GYN care I received from Dr. McNeill and his staff over the past 18 years. Lord willing, I will be back with Bayview for my next pregnancy! more

I had my second daughter with Bayview and from the office to the Doctors the staff was wonderful!!! I got pregnant with my 2nd and I went to a clinic in the St. Pete area and they were not very friendly and in no way did I feel comfortable so I changed Doctor's in my 1st trimester to Bayview. Every appointment was great the staff was always nice and sweet to my oldest daughter as she got to see her little sister for the first time during the ultrasound. The staff not only treated me great but my oldest daughter as well and my partner at the time. The only thing I regret is that they agreed to tie my tubes at 24; I am in no way saying it's their fault but I wish they would have refused because I was still young and not married; now I am 35 and finally met the person I am meant to spend the rest of my life with and we are going to have to try and see if I can get my tubes repaired so that we may have a child together. But other than that which was my fault too they were amazing, giving birth to my daughter was wonderful and calm with Lucy as she had an amazing bed side manner. My partner was very abusive and did not help a bit but Lucy seemed to see that. Whether she did or not she made the birth a great experience, she and the nurse helped me since my partner just sat in the chair until our daughter came out. I am just so happy I had Lucy and my nurse there for me, without their great bed side manner it would have been terrible because of my ex. I would recommend everyone to this office even though Lucy delivered, one of the Doctors took care of me while I was on bed rest due to my baby trying to head out early, once we passed 37 weeks I went back to Lucy. The Doctor's there are very easy to talk to as well. more

For starters I never write reviews. But my husband and I feel in love with the Bayview doctors. We absolutely love everyone in the office. The doctors went beyond our expectations. They were awesome. They took their time with us in the exam room and answered all of our questions in detail. The nurse practitioners/midwives were incredible as well. We were fortunate to have both a doctor and midwife during our delivery. They made an awesome team! The staff is more than friendly and very welcoming. Everyone genuinely cared about us, along with every patient. This was our first pregnancy and from beginning to end the whole staff was there for us. Unfortunately we have to move out of state and I would do anything to continue to go to bayview. They are absolutely the best! And yes, I would run to their office....or waddle.... more

I moved to the area at the end of my first trimester & found Bayview through these reviews! They were great! Very friendly, thorough with patient care & took plenty of time to answer all of our questions. I never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen, which is huge in my opinion. They have their own ultrasound machine, so you don't have to go to a separate place to have them done. They don't draw blood there but it's one of the few things they don't do in-house. I highly recommend them! more

I am so glad that I chose this practice for my care. They did a fabulous job of caring for me during my pregnancy. If I ever had any questions, the nurses or midwives always returned my calls in timely manner and were very thorough. Never, in the 9 months of my pregnancy did I ever feel like a number there. The midwives and doctors always took their time with me and rarely did I have to wait very long to see anyone. Dr Reyes did a great job on my c-section and Dr McNeill not only called me back during the weekend when I had an after hours question, he actually called me back the next day too to check on me! Highly recommend this practice! more

I have been with Bayview OB/GYN for the last four years, and they have seen me through two out of three pregnancies/births. They are professional, intelligent, caring, thorough, and very personal. The midwives Darlean and Lucy are wonderful. Darlean took special care to be there for my delivery, which meant a lot to me. Laurie the nurse working with them is awesome. She is always available and willing to talk to me on the phone and give me honest information when I want it. I have less contact with the doctors, but when I did see them, they were extremely thorough and caring. The entire staff at Bayview has made me feel at home there. Compared to OB/BYN Associates, where I went for my first pregnancy, Baview has had so much more of a personal feel to it. I would recommend this practice to any woman! more

I moved back to the Bay area last year just after i started my second trimester. I started going to Bayview and was very impressed not only by the nurses and the willingness to answer any and all of my questions but the doctors and midwives who were always available. \r \r When it was time to delivery my daughter Dr. McNeill was very helpful and supporting. The staff at the BabyPlace were so attentive that my labor was enjoyable. My stay was very relaxing and when it came time to go home I was ready and knew that I could do it!! I have 3other children and they welcomed my children since they knew it was important to me for them to be there as soon as I gave birth! Though the older children were not there for delivery or overnight stays they did feel like they were a big part of their sisters birth!!! \r \r I would gladly recommend Bayview and BabyPlace to anyone who is getting ready to have a baby!!! more

I have been a patient at Bayview Ob/Gyn for several years and have always been impressed by the entire staff's level of professionalism and compassion. I am a patient of Dr. McNeill's but was able to meet with Dr. Reyes, Lucy, and Darlean as well throughout my pregnancies. Along with Dr. McNeill they each treated me with respect and always addressed any questions or concerns I had. The office staff including front desk, scheduling, nurse, ultrasound tech. are amazing. The doctors are most often quick to see you after checking in and are willing to take time to listen to you. I have an immense level of trust for the doctors and staff at Bayview and highly recommend them for prenantal care as well as regular checkups. more

I've never been so disappointed with a doctor's office before... it's unreal how poorly run this place is. It seems great when you first walk in, but check your bills when you receive them. They have a little problem with billing patients for services they never received. Also, I'd get a second opinion before having any procedures recommended by any of the doctors there. And I'd definitely *not* have any procedures done at this office. But then again, you might not even have to worry about meeting with the doctors if you have anything else going on the day of your appointment. At my last three visits, I waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment time before I was actually taken back. Being behind schedule is understandable from time to time, but when it's an ongoing issue, you'd think they would try to figure out how to manage the place and their scheduling practices a bit better. I won't be going back. more

I loved bayview for the obgyn for the birth of my son. With the help of Darlean and Dr. McNeill my beautiful son was born. If I have another child I wouldnt pick anyother place. I loved seeing both Darlean and Lucy as my midwifes throughout my pregnancy. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Thank you guys! more

I highly recommend Bayview OBGYN. I chose Bayview for my prenatal care and trusted them with the delivery of my son, and I was not disappointed. The entire staff is wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend both Lucy and Darlene for your prenatal care. Dr. Reyes delivered my baby, and he did a phenomenal job with my c-section. I chose Bayview OBGYN for gynecology purposes a few years ago and am thrilled with my choice because of their care and compassion. \r My GYN is Lucy Bosley who is also a nurse midwife. She is absolutely phenomenal! I highly recommend her for OB or GYN care. \r I also recently had a baby girl and was able to meet the other doctors and midwife in this practice. My husband and I enjoyed meeting Dr. McNeill, Dr. Reyes, and Nurse Midwife Darlean Weingarten. We both agreed we would trust anyone of them with the delievry of our daughter. \r Dr. McNeill ended up delivering her and caring for us toward the end of our pregnancy. We could not have asked for a more caring, trusting, and honest doctor to assist our beautiful baby girl into this world. He really took his time during each and every office visit to answer any questions or concerns we were having and was extremely knowledgeable.\r Bayview OBGYN is an amazing practice and you will not be sorry you picked it for either your OB or GYN needs! more

I've been seeing this practice for awhile now - for my GYN needs and then for the birth of both of my children. The entire staff is friendly, professional and caring. They make arrangements to work with your schedule if you need help or a quick appointment and always make an effort to answer your questions and really talk to you. I send everyone I know to them. They are awesome! I have seen both doctors, both midwives and their phenomenal nurse practitioner and I think they are all fabulous! more
