My husband and I were thankful to share our first pregnancy with Dr. Reyes and his group. They are an excellent group of doctors, and didn't mind when I had to ask 18 million questions! I feel like they got to know me personally, and I am thankful for that!!!! I would recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!!!! Pros: Great staff, excellent doctors, low wait times! more

I've been seeing Liz since I was 15 or 16 and she has always been an awesome doctor. She takes time to explain things, makes the whole situation much less awkward than it should be (especially when you're a really young girl), and gives me a hug every time I leave. I've also seen a couple other docs when she was out of town and they've always treated me like I was one of their patients...everyone who works there has always been really sweet. Also the nurses who make/take calls for the doctors are extremely nice and down to earth, and don't get impatient if you call too many times :) so is the lady who does the ultrasounds!! My husband and I are so glad we chose to share our first pregnancy with Bayview! We live an hour away from the office but still made the drive to every appointment because we felt the staff was worth it! We just love Darlean and wanted her to deliver our daughter but timing worked out that she was on vacation when I went in to labor. Dr. Reyes ended up delivering and he made the whole experience so easy! He has a very calm and confident demeanor about him and he even had my husband and I laughing in the delivery room! During our hospital stay Dr. MacNeill and Lucy both stopped by our room to say hi as well. Overall, we would be willing to make the drive again for our next pregnancy and cannot imagine going to anyone else! Pros: knowledgeable, fun staff more

My daughter was recently delivered by Lucy (CNM) and was fantastic. She was very kind, and listened to our wants and concerns thoughtfully and respectfully. Having such an involved caregiver really made the experience even more memorable and enjoyable! As a whole, the practice is staffed with incredibly kind and thorough people. Also, they are wonderful about being on time for appointments. In fact, today I came in early for my appointment by mistake and they graciously squeezed me in. Prior to becoming pregnant wtih my daughter, I saw Liz Gonzalez for my annual exams (who I already loved) Once pregnant, I was rotated between Dr. McNeill, Dr. Reyes, Lucy and Darlean --all of which were more than pleasant and answered all the questions I had. The US tech is awesome and very informative. You can tell she loves her job.\r Dr. Reyes delivered my daughter via C section and I would have him deliver all my future children! This practice is great, they are on time and they return phone calls promptly. My only major complaint is the receptionist asks repeatedly if you want to do cord blood banking.\r Definitely would recommend to anybody in the area!! I truly have nothing but good things to say about the staff in Bayview. They are a great team and are always willing to help. I was fortunate enough to have both of my boys with them. I had the opportunity to meet with Dr. McNeil and Dr. Reyes but my first boy was delivered by Lucy and the second by Darlean. The lady that does the ultrasound is also amazing and it’s obvious that she loves her job. \r I was very happy with the delivery of my first boy and how professional Lucy was regarding that entire experience. The situation with the second baby was a bit more complicated since I had a low fever but Darlean and Dr. McNeil were very supportive throughout the entire delivery. Darlean was not even on call but knew how much I wanted her to deliver my boy. Instead of going home to her family, she stayed by my bedside until my son was born. I will always be grateful for her kindness. Both pregnancies were memorable thanks to the midwives, doctors, and the rest of the staff\r more

They were incredible! I was going to another OB and was not pleased with them, when a friend refereed me to Bayview. From the moment my husband and I went in for our first apt. at Bayview, we were impressed. I met with each of the midwives and both doctors. I had a c-section that went off without a hitch. Dr. Reyes delivered my daughter at 39 weeks. He was quick and thorough with the delivery, I healed very quickly, and i barely have a scar! I would recommend Bayview to anyone who plans to have a child, or is pregnant. Thanks everyone at Bayview!!! Pros: Always there when you have questions or concerns Cons: None come to mind :) more

I first went to Bayview in November 2008 after learning I was pregnant. The staff, midwives, and physicians were amazing. Throughout the pregnancy I rotated seeing the midwives and physicians. I went into pre-term labor @ 34 weeks, during that time Dr. McNeill saw me in the hospital and thereafter for office visits. I was so pleased with his knowledge and compassion. Dr. McNeill delivered my son by Cesarian Section in July. He was incredibly professional and made my husband and I feel very comfortable throughout the c-section and delivered my perfectly healthy son. I would recommend Bayview to all women, I will definitely continue going there for my GYN visits, and again for OB when the time comes. more

I have been a patient at this practice for 4 years. I was seeing Liz Gonzales, CRNP, for my yearly checkups until I got pregnant last summer. When we switched over to the Obstetrics I immediately fell in love with Annette (ultrasound tech), Lucy (midwife), and Dr. Reyes were our favorites!! We enjoyed Darlene (midwife) as well. Dr. Reyes has a wonderful personality and bedside manner. We prayed that he be the one (he or Lucy) to deliver our baby and he just so happened to be in the hospital the morning I gave birth and decided to stop by before his scheduled c-section just in time to deliver our little girl! It could not have worked out any better! All are very capable and Darlene is great, too. However, our personalities fit better with Reyes and Lucy. Pros: The best ultrasound tech, love the midwives and Dr. Reyes! more

I tranferred to Bayview Ob/Gyn when I learned I finally was pregnant as my doctor only did gyn. From the first day I walked into the office they treated me as if I had been there for years. Everyone is smiling and very pleasant. I chose to follow Dr. Reyes to deliver my daughter and after he learned abot my history he and all of them in the office made sure that my pregnancy went well and answered all my questions and concerns I had. Dr. Reyes guided me through my delivery and brought my miracle into the world safely. Thank you for all you did. \r If you need a recommendation for an outstanding, loyal and trustworthy Ob/Gyn office then Bayview Ob/Gyn is where you need to go. I have been with Dr. McNeil and staff for over 15 years. They have all been fabulous. Lucy just delivered my second son in May 2009. Throughout the pregnancy she closely monitored the baby and me, considered what we wanted, and was perfect through the delivery. I would recommend any of the midwives or doctors in this practice. Dr. Reyes followed my pregnancy and delivered my daughter in May 2009. From the first appointment he helped to ease our minds about our high-risk pregnancy and was there for us the whole way through. I bacame a patient with Liz when I was 17. Prior to that I had seen another local GYN and was horrified. This particular physician scared me to the point that I never wanted to see a GYN again. For a 17yr old girl....not a good idea!! On my first visit, Liz sat me down and explained everything my privious doctor hadn't. After that, I became much more at ease with the idea of having a pelvic exam. It has been more than 9 years now, and I am very pleased to say I am still a patient. In 2007, my husband and I found out we were expecting. Of course I stayed with the practice and stepped out of Lizs' hands and into Lucys'. Throughout my pregnancy I rotated between the drs and midwives, to get to know each one of them individually, so that when it came time to deliver I wouldnt be unconfortable with whomever was on call that particular day. Lucky for me, Lucy was on call the day I delivered! It was a great experience, and she was a great coach. I have and would highly recommend this practice to any woman...especially if you are expecting.\r Kudos to Dr.Mcneil and the wonderful staff at Bayview.\r \r In my opinion, the only con with this practice.....they only deliver at Bayfront. Would love to see them branch out to other surrounding hospitals. more

Bayview is wonderful. They have two nurse midwives and two OB's, so they are very family friendly. They are welcome to both traditional epidural anesthesia and natural birth options. They work well together and are open to alternative treatments. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My baby was delivered by Dr. Reyes and I could not have been more pleased with how everything went. I would have been happy to have had any of the other practitioners deliver the baby - this isn't like some offices where you only like one doctor - they are all fabulous. Lucy Bosley delivered my first son in 2005. She made me feel very secure and well taken care of. Lucy is extremely knowledgable and very compassionate at the same time. Based upon my first delivery, I chose to travel from Louisiana to have Lucy deliver my second son. I look back at both deliveries as the two best days of my life. When I think about my experiences Lucy always comes to mind. I owe a great deal of thanks to Lucy and the other staff at Bayview. I strongly recommend Bayview to future mommies. more

I am so happy that I was referred to this office. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor's and nurses are fabulous! I have delivered both of my girls with Lucy and she was wonderful. I alwyas felt as though I could ask any questions without being brushed off. Darlene, Dr Reyes and Dr McNeil are so great and would have been more than happy to have anyone of them delivering my girls.Anytime I come in with my babies, and one gets fussy, Darlene has always come to the rescue and holds her through my exam! Dr. McNeil and his staff are the absolute best at what they do. Dr. McNeil recently delivered my baby via c-section and I was so grateful to have him. He stayed with me throughout the day - his compassion and bedside manner made what would have been a terrifying experience for me and my family more comfortable. \r The entire staff at Bayview is friendly and professional. Dr. McNeill is a amazing surgeon! During my stay at Bayfront, nurses were able to identify his work because of my PERFECT C-section incision. The wonderful staff at Bayview is very friendly and always returned my calls. I highly reccommend this practice. This is the best OB/GYN office in St Pete. Everyone is great. Dr. Reyes delivered my daughter by c-section. He was great at making me feel at ease. He has very good bed side manners and answered all my questions. . Lucy, Darlene and Dr McNeil are also fantastic. Everyone in the office is friendly from the receptionist to the ultrasound tech.
