My first encounter with Susan Hart Salon was last August. I called the salon and spoke with Chris. I was wanting to set up a girls spa day for my friends and I to celebrate our birthdays. I was so demading in regards to the time and services since my friends were coming in from out of town. Chris was very accomdating and made sure that everything was taken care of. We had the most Fabulous time. We were pampered and treated like royalty. Amazing massages, pedicures, facials, the works! Not to mention we had our own little private cocktail and chocolate party. When we were finsihed with our fun Chris took it upon himself to call and make our dinner reservations at a restaraunt in Austin. Since then I have continued going to Susan Hart for my hair cuts and color from Mandy and Sassie as well as microderm and facials from Shannon and a KILLER massage from Dillon. \r \r The entre staff is amazing... Love this place! more

My girlfriend and I were in Texas for the week and she wanted to get a pedicure. She had heard great things about this salon, and since I was there I decided to get a salicylic acid peel. The place is BEAUTIFUL with all types of state of the art equipment, and everyone there was really friendly and welcoming. Destiny, who gave me my peel, was very professional and fun which made me feel at ease, which is not typical as a guy at a salon. After I was done I went to check on my lady who was getting her pedicure from Mandy, who is just a little bundle of sunshine. She was really cool and funny, and my girlfriend's nails looked great! I'm generally not into joining my girlfriend on salon trips and usually get bored and restless when I do, but I can say that I genuinely had a good time here with such a great staff and warm environment. more

I've never left a review for anywhere before....but felt compelled to share my pleasant experience with others. Mandy has been my stylists for a couple of years now and I'm not quite sure what I did before her. I'd like to think of myself as an easy client, but I'm not. I'm picky and tend to change my mind lots! Mandy is helpful in telling me what I can realistically ""pull off"" and I have never received more compliments since coming to her. She is pleasant and funny and makes me feel like I am truly getting my moneys worth in a time where every nickel counts. The entire staff is warm and welcoming. It's like a family type atmosphere.... Talk about one stop shopping! I literally went in there the other day with an event later in the day and left ready...hair, makeup, new dress and feeling amazing. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment. I'll never go anywhere else :) more

I have lived in Austin (and now Round Rock) for my entire life. I have been to NYC, Chicago and L.A. Susan Hart gives all of the big cities' salons and day spas a run for their money! I couldn't believe that I was in Round Rock to say the least! I was greeted by a very handsome, polished and pleasantly presentable gentleman. His name is Chris Adams and he is the Sales Director (I had to look at his business card to remember his job title). He asked me if I would like a drink and a tour after I was finished browsing their lovely hair accessories and clothing. He then informed me that they are putting together their next clothing order soon. This place does custom make-up! Apparently Susan (the owner) wasn't in the store at the moment, but she can create make-up of any type and shade. He continued to show me their very impressive salon, tanning, day spa rooms and a VIP room. ""You have a VIP in Round Rock?"" I asked. He sweetly told me it was for brides, ladies events or any special party. I asked him who should do my hair and he asked me several questions. He thought about it for a moment and prescribed Mandy (the salon manager). He proceeded to take me back downstairs and introduced me to Mandy. She was a cute as could be! Beautiful, vibrant red hair and an adorable little smile! We talked for a minute, laughed and I was casually taken up front. Chris set my appointment and gave me all of their gorgeous business cards. I can't wait to meet with the rest of this classy, polished group (Especially Susan. These people already feel like my friends)! Keep it up Susan Hart! Downtown Austin (where I usually have my hair done) will be traveling up here for their hair before too long! Thank you! more

I called Susan Hart Regarding a Keratin treatment I got from ANOTHER Salon, needless to say I was very frustrated and unhappy with the outcome. Thats when I had decided to call Susan Hart to get some advice on what to do, mind you I had never been to Susan Hart but had looked up other salons in the area that promoted a Keratin like the one I received, Immediately the gentlemen on the phone handed me over to their Salon Manager Mandy, she was very sweet and was able to answer all my questions going above and beyond for me when I wasn't even her client! even offered to help me fix it at no cost! I am just speechless over the amazing customer service from this salon, and I will definitely be visiting Mandy for all my future hair needs! more

After going to another salon in round rock for the last year, I started to notice a lack in customer service and attention to detail with my services so I decided to try out something new, I did some research and learned about Susan Hart on main street, they had great reviews, I also notices they were just awarded top salon in Round rock, I called for a price quote and spoke to Destiny, she was very sweet and gave me all the information I needed, she set me up with Mandy for my cut color and Karetin treatment! I was pretty excited considering Mandy L has great reviews online. from the moment I walked in I was blown away! Susan was an actual person and is beautiful, and a very humble lady. I was greeted promptly and my service was outstanding! Mandy is very knowledgeable about all the products, and she used to work for Aveda, witch was a total bonus for me because the salon I was going to prier to my visit at Susan hart was Aveda, she knew all my current products and was able to recommend similar ones! I feel blessed to have met her and found Susan hart! I will be back thanks so much to all the staff that made my experience the best I have ever had! more

We took my daughter and her friends to get mani/pedi's for her 13th birthday and they had the greatest time! Natalie and Amanda treated them wonderfully and Chris made them Shirley Temple drinks in champagne glasses. They felt like 'princesses'! The salon is very stylish even though it's set in the beautiful historic downtown Round Rock building. Everyone was treated very well and we will definitely return! Thanks for a special time! more

I went to Susan Hart salon today as a new walk in client, the salon itself is beautiful, I was slightly turned off because of the lack of help when I walked in, but I cant lie I was also very much turned on by the crystal chandelier hanging in the front window. A young gentlemen finally noticed I was standing up front and rushed over to greet me however he did seem slightly panicked/overwhelmed none the less he was nice and he set me up an appointment with Mandy! I was so excited for my new hair and best of all so was my stylist we talked about all my options and I couldn't wait to get started. About and hour and a half later and a little bit of Magic from Mandy I was done and I felt amazing! everything is flawless and best of all Mandy showed me what to use, and how to style my hair so I can look and feel as good as I did at the salon everyday, Normally I don't have much luck with that but I have been successful at doing my hair on my own for the first time in my life! my experience was truly magical and Mandy is such a blessing! so five stars for her and the salon even if the front desk is slightly un-organized, they are lucky Mandy is so good that I am willing to over look the other small flaws... Lucked out and found a great hair stylist and manicurist all in one!!! Natalie took great care of me! For the first visit, she did exactly what I wanted for my hair and no more... Very nice! Also, I was so happy that I returned a few days later to have her take care of my two little girls (ages 4 and 5 1/2) They loved Natalie too!!! \r My new 'shellac' manicure has lasted now two weeks with NO chipping of my color! Looking forward to a long relationship with Natalie and the S.H. Salon. All very nice people, beautiful facility!!! more

What a great Little salon in Round Rock! so much History and Charm! Mandy did my hair on Saturday and I am so excited about my new do! the atmosphere is wonderfull and all the girls are so nice! I will deff. be recomending Mandy to all my friends and co-workers! more

I LOVE Susan Hart Salon so so much. Amanda U does such a fantastic job with everything from cut & color to Glitter Toes!!! The atmosphere in the salon is so upbeat. Everyone ( staff & clients ) all seem like they are all just hanging out with their BFF's. It makes you want to stick around. I'm lucky to have found Amanda. It's so great to be able to just sit in the chair and say, ""Do whatever you want."" Every appt. with her has been a great experience so far. She's helping me grow my hair out & make the color fun in the process. You will get so many great ideas here, you'll have to keep coming back for more. Since they do a little bit of everything, I have been back each weekend for something and have plans for next week already ( it's time for feather extensions ) The whole team is great & Amanda is wonderful. Normally, If I was asked to write a review that wasn't for a friend I'd say, yeah right'. In this case because of the rarity in finding an esthetician who's trained for lymphatic drainage and Shannon's personality and skill. I'll say something nice. And maybe someone else is looking for one too. I'm not really into a stranger touching my face, but her fingers felt very pleasant and she applied perfect pressure. Draining is massaging excess lymphatic liquid that's under one's face so it spreads out below the neck. Excessscan partially cause puffiness, under eye circles and i think pressure. It's also good during allergy season to relieve the sinuses. The upstairs facility iof Susan Hart's very professional with quality equipment and privacy. The reason for a four instead of the five hasn't any relation to Shannon. The day I made the appointment the queen behind the front desk gave me that too coomon bitch look . Keep him in the back where he won't scare away your customers. I'm sure he's sorry for it now, but the first impression's the one that lasts. I did really like all the other gals behind the desk and throughout the salon. Shannon in particular had a calming effect. Susan was very nice and was the only one up front when I first walked in. There was a little ego going on there, but never did she attempt to make me feel less than. I'm not a very dressy guy and am allot older than I appear. So, there have been allot of snooty sale ladies of the passed who've missed out on making a sale. Thanks Susan for treating me nicely. more

Susan Hart Boutique Salon and Day Spa is a great salon. It's trendy and inviting. None the less, I get my hair done by Mandy. I don't let many people touch my hair, but she has never disappointed. Susan Hart Salon and Day Spa is the BEST! It is lovely downtown Round Rock and is just wonderful. They can do it ALL. So many services to choose from!\r \r I made an appt. for Shellac on my nails and just happened to get Natalie.... It was the best manicure ever! I've got a follow up appt. in a couple of weeks and added a pedi. to it. I've also got a an appt to get my hair done this week.... can wait to be pampered! \r \r I told my husband that i want a GIFT CERTIFICATE to Susan Hart's for Valentines Day!
