Outstanding service!!! 8/9/2010

Outstanding service, and as always Curtis and Eric were great and went above and beyond their responsibility! This was the first time since I’ve been buying cars that I actually enjoyed the experience. There was no pressure in buying a car and I didn’t feel like the salesmen were breathing down my neck. The whole experience was painless and amazing and I will most definitely recommend friends to buy from this dealership. Outstanding Job! Thanks!! more

People very friendly at Lewisville VW 7/27/2010

I have a very good experience at Lewisville VW. Both my service contact (Michael) and my sales person have treated me very well. I always fell welcome whenever I go there. On my 06 Jetta GLli, my service person went over and beyond to work out a price for me when I need to have the timing belt and water pump changed. I would always by my car a Lewisville even though there is a nearer dealership in Mckinney where I live. They know me and I am always treated very good. Pros: always there when i need them Cons: far from home more

I have a very good experience at Lewisville VW. Both my service contact (Michael) and my sales person have treated me very well. I always fell welcome whenever I go there. Well a few years ago we bought our Passat that we still love and on Monday we decided is was time for an upgrade and as usual we were taken care of from beginning to end. Lewisville Volkswagen listened to our needs like they did the first time and exceeded every expectation. They know how to treat people and keep them happy. Bad Dealership 12/22/2009

My recent purchase with Volkswagen is my first and the last given my experience with Lewisville Volkswagen. I purchased a certified per-owned 2006 beetle convertible. All of the selling information, website and stickers, advertised it as a CPO. The fact that I would not have to worry about service for two years was the main selling feature about the car. A month after purchase, the Beetle needed to be taken into service for the first time. I was told over the phone by the sales manager after I had dropped it off that he could not find paper work stating we had a warranty. I told him I had purchased it as a CPO so it had a two year warranty. He told me the car didn’t come with a warranty – it was something extra I had to purchase. That was not how the car was sold to me. It was always sold under the pretense it would be covered for two years. I asked even as I signed the paperwork and was assured that was true. Needless to say, I am very unhappy with my treatment from this dealer. I would not recommend doing business with Lewisville Volkswagen. Cons: Do not honor agreements more

Questionable service 3/20/2008

Well, I just got off the phone with my service advisor over at Lewisville VW. I had dropped my car off for two recalls and wanted to know if it was ready. The advisor explained that yes, the service was complete, but there was another issue that needed immediate attention. \r \r He explained that both of my CV-boots on the front axles were torn and needed to be replaced (at a bit over $400 per unit) before more damage resulted. The odd thing about this was that I had checked under the car and seen both boots the day before (you'll see why I did this in a minute!) and they were fine, so this would mean that I had to have torn both of them in the 5 mile drive to the dealership. Needless to say I am getting this work done elsewhere.\r \r Now, to answer why I would crawl under my car before taking it to the dealership in the first place. My wife has the same model and year VW (2003 Passat) as I do. We took her car in a few months back for recall work, and sure enough, got a call saying that it had 1 torn CV-boot and a leaking motor mount. I looked at the torn boot, and it looked like it had been cut rather than torn...a perfectly straight line cut. The motor mount, as it turned out, was not leaking at all, as confirmed by another VW dealer.\r \r I guess I'm going to have to break down and drive all the way to Autobahn in Fort Worth to get service. I have never had issues there, apart from the distance, which makes it about a 1/2 day round trip for me.\r \r Avoid these guys at all costs!!\r \r Cons: Service department more

Lewisville Volkswagen - Avoid this dealership at all costs 3/12/2007

I have been buying cars for 16 years, and his is the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. These guys have no interest in selling cars, only stroking their own super egos. I have never had an experience that has taken so much from me. I went to do the deal with them,and they are the sleaziest and most unsavory people I have ever dealt with. I have been a VW customer for 7 years and because of the experience that I have had with them VW lost a customer today. These people took time away from my wife, my daughter and myself through their blatant lies and deceit. On top everything else, I caught them laughing at my expense after I went and express my issues with their lack of customer service. If this is what you are looking for, be my guest.
