I worked with Mike Trainer at Block & Associates to find tenants for my town home. Mike was very thorough, offered great advice on the transition from my previous tenant to the new ones, and he always returned my calls/emails in a timely fashion. Mike helped me find a new tenant for my town home with 2 weeks of the previous tenant moving out. I highly recommend working with Mike Trainer and Block and Associates and will continue to do so in the future. more

We used Block and Associates to find a rental house in Cary recently. Our first tip was that Josh was a little slow to return calls but was overall helpful. We got a call back from his assistant asking us to amend this tip since it wasn't as glowing as he would have preferred. Here is a better amended review then.\r \r We moved in and two days later had a natural gas leak coming from our house. In attempting to deal with it, we called Block and Associates in hopes of getting help dealing with this problem. Throughout our confusion with the contract whether this is a Block managed property and who should be responsible for fixing the problem, we were very disappointed with how we were treated. We were talked down to throughout this process and told to ""just read your contract"" instead of someone actually taking the time out to try and help by Josh's company. I went to Block and tried to speak to Josh but was only able to talk to his assistant who was also very condescending. She reported that Josh felt the review we had originally done was too ""vanilla"" even though it was an honest review by us about how difficult it is to talk to Josh directly and I stated that I emailed him the day prior and he hadn't emailed back and I had called him 30 minutes before coming to the realty company in person yet still hadn't heard back. Throughout the whole rental process Josh would sometimes take 2-3 days to return emails or calls. Later that day Josh did text me (instead of call me back) and asked if I wanted to talk about the gas leak situation. I texted him back that we were upset about how we had been treated through this whole situation and that even small things like where to mail the rent check were hard to get a quick, easy answer from them. We also told him essentially that he should have contacted us directly about dissatisfaction with the review we had previously posted instead of eavesdrop on our conversation with his assistant. He then threw a childish defensive tantrum which in essence said that he shouldn't have to help me at all since he's just a rental broker, that we were incompetent since some of the contract was a little confusing to us, and that it was ""pathetic"" that we felt we were being treated poorly. He ended that text with an innuendo that threatened to try to have us evicted at the end of the contract because we simply complained. \r \r Bottom line is Josh Furr and Block Realty have poor service and we would not recommend them at all for a realty firm. We would recommend going just a mile up the road to Fonville Morisey where they have more class, ability and service. more

I found myself needing a rental near Raleigh ASAP and via Block & Associates I was able to find one - even from an out-of-town location - and was able to get moved in in what must be near record time.\r \r The house was a first time rental and there were a few kinks to work out, but Joshua and Andrea were able to resolve any and all issues. I would recommend them for anyone who is planning to move to this area and needs someone ""on the ground"" to make sure things get done. more

After finding a property I was interested in, I gave the office a call to set up a tour.\r \r Unfortunately Joshua wasn't able to meet with me due to unforseen circumstances, but he was quite accommodating in ensuring I was able to access the property myself and take a look around.\r \r Most of my business was conducted through Andrea, Mr. Furr's assistant. This was not a problem, however: she was very helpful and willing to work with me when I needed to make some modifications to the lease parameters.\r \r In summation, I'm happy with my experience utilizing Block and Associates' services, and I would recommend them to anyone seeking to rent in the Triangle area. more

Joshua had their home in Cary, NC on the market to be leased and their home was leased just shy of two weeks. Joshua is very professional, competent, thorough, honest, and compassionate and these are all traits you want or need your realtor to have. He is truly the best realtor I have ever worked with. He understands that your home is one of the biggest investments you'll have and understands that when you can't sell your home and it needs to be rented instead, he carefully screens the potential renter, looking for someone who is trustworthy and respects and cares for your home at the same level you have put into it. We had a good experience with Joshua Furr at Block and Associates Realty. Due to Block and Associates being a large and busy realty company, we had a bit of trouble getting into contact with Joshua when we originally found a house we were interested in. However, once we went to the office and introduced ourselves, Joshua was very quick and prompt with information and helping us close the lease agreements. He made the process quick and convenient with online documentation since we lived over an hour away from the town we relocated to. We were in the house quickly and love our new home!
