Jeff you are best ever!!!!!!! For most renters, you never imagine having to move until that day suddenly comes upon you, which is what happened to me. I have been renting for eight years at the same location and was very shocked when I found out that the homeownerswas selling the property. My concerns were finding a rental as beautify as the home I live in now and large enough to fit the 10 room of furniture. I began searching MSL listings that a realtor friend sent to me, I saw nothing that excited me. I do not know how I stumbled onto the web site, HOTPAD COM, which took me to rentals listed by Block & Associated Realty, but I am so happy I did. The rental properties are huge and beautiful, which was exactly what I was looking for. I was immediately contacted by Jeff as soon as I ask for a showing of two rental properties. The very next day, I met him at one of the rentals. He was very professional and incredibility friendly. I immediately developed a rapport with this kind agent. He never rushed me through the showing of the home and answered all of my questions and concerns. I have a couple of weeks prior to my move in date; however, Jeff has never left my side through the concerns and paper process. He still answers all my calls and emails within seconds of receiving them. He has definitely made my rental experience a joy. As a tenant with block and associates renting for 2 years, I loved my tenure with them. Always friendly and professional. Very family oriented realestate company. I transitioned from NY to NC and with their help my move was painless. The homes I viewed prior to selecting the one I lived in the entire 2 yrs were all very high end homes; well maintained and presented as if no one had ever lived in them. If there were any down falls to this company I would have to say I wish I could have stayed with them longer. My profession would not allow that and at all cost if I was to ever live in Cary NC or surrounding areas again I would surely pick Block & Associates Realty of Cary to assist me and my family with finding a nice, safe, and secure home to live in. After having no luck leasing out my rental property on my own for a significant amount of time, I finally decided to contact Block & Associates for some help. Rich Keck was my agent and was amazing! The communication was first rate and I received updates on the progress of the tenant search frequently. He arranged a meeting up at the property the first day I called him and managed to get find an excellent tenant for me within a week! They moved in within three weeks and finally I'm not stressing over it anymore. Rich was friendly and professional, and better yet, communicated well with me and the tenant. Being an out of state owner of a rental property can be very nerve-wrecking. My experience overall with Block have been very positive. They were always able to find a tenant right away without major lapse to avoid losing rental income. We listed our property with Block & Assoc and they have successfully rented it. We have been happy with how responsive our agent, Rich, was in answering our questions/concerns and getting the property rented to responsible tenants. Rich was very quick to return our calls/emails, detailed in the information that he provided, and helpful in his guidance. Block & Assoc screened potential tenants and found a great match in short time. Rich ensured that all paperwork was completed and helped the tenants get settled even ahead of a holiday weekend. Block & Assoc was responsible for finding/screening tenants for us as well as managing the property. We have been very happy with the service provided so far. As an owner, you want a realtor that will try to find you the tenant you are looking for. Someone flexible, good-natured and that you can have a long-term relationship with. This is not what Block did for me. Instead, they got the renter who could pay the quickest, but have the worst attitude I've ever encountered. They passed on very good people, who, ironically, contacted me directly through a clever use of the internet. In the end, and as was relayed to me by my newest tenants (who, thankfully, did not come through Block), this real estate firm is a nightmare. They put tenants in a terribly controlling contract-- and do the same to landlords on the other side! Bottom line, after all I've heard about Block, and my own experience with them, it is clear to me that the brokers there are only interested in getting their commissions-- not returning phone calls and servicing customers. They got me once, never again. And to my latest tenants: I'm sorry you had to go through what you went to...but hopefully more people will learn about Block before they too have to experience what you did. And for anyone who has their doubts about this review, put it to the test. Contact a Block realtor. Ask them for their cell number. Then have them call you back. Are they calling you from a number that is blocked, or showing as ""Unknown?"" If so, tell them to unblock the number and let's see how willing they are to give up their true contact numbers. If you find that the only number they are willing to give is one that leads to voicemail, you will know exactly what to expect from that realtor: slow response when they feel like it. more

I have just finshed out a second rental with Block and Associates. This time I was fortunate enough to work with Tricia, who although doesn't always respond to voicemail, ALWAYS responds to email and texts. I had a few situations to address while renting the property and my needs were always answered and followed up. I had even wanted to add a new puppy to the family and conveyed how important it was to us and I received a reply rather quickly and the answer was yes!! The home I rented was very pretty and left VERY clean and in GOOD condition which was a welcome sight!! When a few issues came up during the year for repair, we had a repair person calling us either the same day or the following day, and they were very kind and friendly people. I had an awesome opportunity to buy a new home(which was my initial plan when I moved here from NJ) and Tricia made it so easy to work out the details and make it happen for me. THANK YOU TRICIA!!! If I have to ever rent again in the future, I will NOT hesitate to contact Block again and have recommended this company to people who are looking to rent and will continue to do so. more

Our frustration grew as we stayed in a house rented from them longer.\r \r 1. The property management team shows little respect to tenants. They seem to fail to realize it's the tenants who are paying for their salary, the repairing jobs, and the mortgage of the landlords'.\r \r 2. Before you rent, watch out for their extremely unreasonable lease terms. They can send a repair team to your house any time they feel like to. I quote from an email from one of the property managers - Ms. Letitia Rodrigues: "You will be informed of any needed repairs the owner seeks to make. You do not however, have the right to disagree, or be in the decision making process or prohibit the repairs being done."\r \r 3. They really don't care about how inconvenient they make your life to be. When I talked with Ms. Letitia Rodrigues about informing me of the noises of repairs in advance so I could better prepare my young baby for it. She said "I am not sure why I would need to explain the noise factor...". My reason more
