Professional and Courteous 3/1/2014

I had my annual plumbing inspection as part of my BFP maintenance agreement. Dave and Dave, the plumbers, identified several issues including the source of my leaking hot water heater. Four services were performed for $780 which I thought was fair. Both plumbers were very professional and courteous throughout. more

Ed K. and Dave S. explained everything they were doing and did a great job. There was some difference in the quote I was given previously by Jerry and the bill they were writing up. When I explained that to them they were very understanding and made the adjustment. I was very happy with their professionalism, courtesy, and quality of work. more

Excellent job 1/28/2014

Dave came out the same day I called about a leaking toilet. He zeroed in on the problem, disconnected the closet, went and got parts and repaired the leak. Quick, clean and reasonably priced. Thanks for the top notch job. more

TOM CAME VERY QUICKLY TOO OUR EMERGENCY ON CHRISTMAS EVE. TOOK TIME TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. HE ALSO CHECKED FOR WHAT COULD BE FUTURE PROBLEMS. WILL ASK FOR HIM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. IT IS COMFORTING TO HAVE A SERVICE I WILL FEEL COMFORTABLE CALLING AGAIN. more

The leak was from a pipe located above the ceiling and part of the ceiling had to come down to reach it. A problem finding the pipe ensued because of my older house and was partially hidden behind vents. The ceiling was very suspect and I had to have more removed so that he could reach it and steps were taken. He returned the next day, very prompt and the pipe was located and repaired quickly and satisfactory. I have used Benjamin Franklin for years and have always had excellent service from making the appointment to completion. The staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable and trustworthy. more

Thoroughly Satisfied with Dave's Service (A+ Service) 11/11/2013

Had to have our Water Heater replaced in a jiffy. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing came to our rescue. They were very communicative and prompt. Dave performed the work and was outstanding. He explained our options, was thorough and complete in his work and an overall pleasure to work with. Could not be happier with the experience and will be calling on them again in the future. more

Service man came on time and was thorough 10/24/2013

Had 4 clogged drains which drained eventually but would come back. Although drains were not clogged when serviceman arrived, he thoroughly reviewed every plumbinmg connection and even checked outside sewer connection to determine what could have caused the problem. He provided preventative solutions and even checked the water heater and told me how to maintain it in good working condition. He went the extra mile. more

Fantastic experience - fast, efficient, economical, ultra clean and a true perfectionist 10/13/2013

Over the weekend I had a gas hot water heater fail that caused water damage in my basement. Within 24 hours I was lucky to clean up the problem and find to my amazement a resource to do the hot water tank replacment. The technician who came out (Jim) was fast, efficient, extremely organized, and displayed a clear picture of skill with the removal and replacement of our needed 50 gallon hot water heater. more

Dave B was on time and extremely helpful. He explained the problem while showing me exactly what needed to be replaced and what it did. He also noted other issues and gave me a quote during his visit. He was also very kind to my kids and did not act like they were in the way. more

Got the job done ! 9/19/2013

I got to the site 15 minutes ahead of our scheduled time, and Ed W from the New Britain staff was already waiting for me. Punctuality A+. My problem was a clogged drain, in OLD (lead) plumbing, with relatively difficult access. Ed persevered, and ran out the full length of his snake, managing to drag up two ugly hairballs and open up the drain. Cleaned up well, explained options, clearly new his business. I will use him again next time. more
