Beware of false product information and this place is greedy; not concerned with customer satisfaction unless it costs them nothing.
We took advantage of Belfort's offer of complimentary in home interior design. The designer/sales rep was nice, but didn't do much to work with our existing furniture.
We ended up buying a TV unit we didn't really need. Apparently there are items that are ""special order"" that you cannot cancel the order on, even if it is the next day and it hasn't been shipped to their warehouse. Thought that was rediculous.
We also purchased a VERY expensive desk and file cabinet and were told they were solid wood with veneer. When all the furniture was delivered, over half was damaged and needed to be sent back, including the desk, which had a door hanging from just one hinge. As we examined the desk door, we noticed it was particle board under the veneer! Belfort said they would not accept a return or give our money back.
As we tried to work with our sales rep to rectify the situation, he was not returning calls and it was almost two weeks before my husband went in to see him. He said he was busy because he has several hundreds of thousands of furniture orders he was taking care of. Well, that is not good customer service at all. Just forget about them after they drop the money.
Now, I am waiting on my replacement couch to be delivered and they are told me the balance is about $50 more than what my sales rep told me it was.
Can't wait to see what happens when the replacement desk comes in.
I give two stars because the sales rep was friendly and patient with me in my selection process, but I am so disappointed in my experience here. I won't be going back.
