Best

I went here for a "girl's day" and loved the fact that they have 6 pedicure chairs. I haven't seen that anywhere else and it's great that they can accommodate such large groups! ...

Worst

Have gone to Azanas twice now. Both were because someone gave me a gift card. The building is very attractive from the outside and very easy to find (right off the highway). Insid...

Absolutely wonderful! 3/24/2010

Azana was everything I hoped it would be and more. Pros: Beautiful with professional staff Cons: Could use more parking spaces more

Great day at Azana 3/23/2010

Really had a nice spa day at azana I had received a gift card for mothers day I had girls day out package...massage pedicure and manicure! All three of my service were wonderful relaxing and made me want to spend the whole day there. Look forward to doing it again, this time with my daughter they can accompany 6 pedicures at once!!! more

TERRIBLE 2/4/2010

although the girls that I had do my hair did an excellent job the rest of the staff sucked. they were very rude and unhelpful. I would never go back. I also thought some people were dressed VERY unprofessional. they also were not busy at all and this was a thursday at night. Very wierd says alot about the place. I work in the industry that is a busy night for salons and spas. Must be that they are not the gem that they think they are. Much better places to go in brookfield. more

Rudest front desk! 2/4/2010

I had my first visit there recently and I have never met a ruder front desk staff in my life. Besides not stopping there own converstaion when I walked into greet me, they were very rude and short with me. The service I recieved were nothing special. I would never go back. The front desk should be the heart of your business. I will not recomend Azana to anyone. more

Don't believe everything you read! 1/18/2010

I was a little reluctant about visiting Azana after reading the reviews, but I had a Gift card that I wanted to use. To my surprise, it was a wonderful experience. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I loved all of my services and can't wait to return! Pros: Great location more

Best haircut of my LIFE! 12/4/2009

If you are looking for someone who really knows hair ... Zina !!!! That's all I have to say. Pros: Zina is amazing ! My hair has never looked so GREAT!!! more

Don't judge a book by it's cover 11/17/2009

I interviewed at Azana, and I feel sharing my experience because I was shocked by it. I heard from other people who got pedis there it was nice and the people were friendly. I'm an experienced stylist, and I am familair with the competition, so I was comparing them to other salons I know around there; Carezna, Vici, and Studio 890 and Neroli. I think Azana's interior decorating is looking outdated and the employees don't dress like they work in an upscale salon and spa. One stylist was reading a magazine in her chair. That is a no no from beauty school. I didn't think the front desk people in person were very welcoming. No one smiled. They were very nice on the phone, I called twice. Pros: location Cons: manager, unprofessional more

Azana Spa did not honor the full amount of a gift card... 8/18/2009

I had given a friend a $100 gift card, but when she went to redeem it, was only given $70 in credit. Admittedly, I have been tardy in contacting the Spa to resolve the matter. Nonetheless, the Spa still has my $30 in addition to what my friend had to pay for her services. The Spa only tends to return my calls during working hours even though I know that the contact person may be working after 5:00. To date I have had no resolution. Pros: Well-known Cons: Appears to be unwilling to honor the full amt of gift card. more

Uptight bad hair 8/9/2009

I went to this salon to get a cut and color by a girl named Madison. She (along with the others) seemed stuck up and didn't pay much attention to the clients busy talking to each other. Although my color was decent my cut was not at all what i asked for. Very boring style.... wouldn't recommend Madison. Pros: clean salon Cons: bad hair stylist more

I love Azana!! 6/3/2009

I have been going to Azana for a long time. They are a full service salon and spa, so I have basically had everything done. I love my hair cuts and colors from here, they use the Goldwell line and many of the stylists have furthered education, also they do Great Lengths hair extensions, which I have yet to try! My nails always look great and the atmosphere is beautiful. Upstairs is the spa where the massage and skin care services are performed. The massages are very relaxing and soothing and I love the heated beds! I try to get facials every month done by my esthetician Grace and also have my waxing done here. They also offer microdermabrasion and chemical peels. I always leave feeling re-engergized, relaxed and comfortable. I will continue to go to Azana and I recommend it to all my friends! more

Wow. I see they haven't changed. 1/4/2009

I've experience pretty much the same experience as the other reviewers. The atmosphere there was very snobby and almost as the customer was secondary to everyone else. . Pros: The employees doing the real work are good Cons: The atmosphere, the front staff, the salon layout more

Not What You Might Think! 7/12/2008

I have been to spas all over the country and have come to expect a certain level of service and skill level which I base on pricing, combined with a relaxing spa atmosphere. I have found that you mostly get what you pay for. Not at Azana. Looks great on the outside but when you get inside, at least on the first floor you are in a fish bowl, no quiet and no privacy. Hair, Nails, Makeup all in one big room. The Pedicure accomodations were awful! You are asked to climb up on a rizer like bench and put your feet in a small round sink. There are no individual chairs, no way to adjust for your height( my knees, legs and back were aching after sitting for 1 hour) No massage chairs here just a square pillow behind you, and no whirlpoo massage in the foot bowl.. Getting down off the wall with wet nails and slippery pedi shoes on was a real trick. If you are 5ft 6 or smaller with a size 7 or less foot you might be comfortable, other wise no go. The tech did a good to very good job but she was very distracted by what was going on around us and not attenntive to me. The Mani tech was very good but again, uncomfortable chairs and you are right on top of other customers. The upstairs spa where the massage and facials are done is very nice but again staff is impersonal and you just do not get the pampered feeling you go to a spa to get. If I am going to pay the spa price I expect the spa accomodations and service to be reflected in all areas. I can go to any hair salon and get what I got at Azana and pay less. Pros: Techs have a good skill level Cons: uncomfortable, impersonal, not a good value compaired to competition more

Absolutely Amazing!!! 4/29/2008

I have been coming to Azana for years. I have been there for pedi's, mani's, facials, and hair services and I have yet to have a bad experience! I have seen several different stylists and ALL of them have been wonderful! Everyone one there is very informative and kind. I have been to many of the Milwaukee area salons and this one takes the cake! I highly recommend it! more

Great Massage and Waxing, Not So Great Front Desk 4/29/2008

Like many others reviewing Azana, I agree that the front desk is lacking. They are snobby and incompetent. I have gone to Azana for massages, waxing, and a hair cut. The hair cut was ok. The massages and waxing I've had done have been fabulous! The people working on me were friendly and conversational. They were great in asking how I was and if I needed anything. Great in making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I would recommend the spa. Pros: Massages, waxing, and the staff perfoming the services Cons: Front desk more

Pedi-Yes, Mani-No 4/13/2008

This place is ok....nothing grand or extraordinary. I had a mani/pedi on Wed for my Friday wedding. After my shower on Thursday, most of my manicure had peeled off because the nail tech globbed on my polish so thick. So I sat in my hotel room the night before my wedding redoing my nails. When I called to complain the manager told me I didn't wait long enough for them to dry...Not true, I sat under the dryer much longer than the tech told me to because I knew she put way too much polish on. I also felt the staff seemed a bit stuck-up... Pros: Pedi Cons: Mani more

Bring a book, you could use it in the waiting room 4/8/2008

Wow, can't agree more about the front desk. It is like going to a trendy clothing shop where the sales people depend on the discount and act as if you are bothering them? ? ? I went for a facial, I thought the price was great and the treament, although facials are fleeting, was great. So I booked another, only to sit and sit and sit in the waiting area. People oftened popped in and out, but not for me, finally I went back to the front desk and was told the facialist was with somebody else because I was late!! I wasn't late. I couldn't believe that they didn't offer an apology worse the only offered to reschedule me for another day. Somehow my sitting in their waiting room for an hour was my fault. Pros: the facialist, when you get to her Cons: the front desk, atmosphere more

Great Pedicures, manicures are lacking...ignore front desk. 10/19/2007

The front desk personnel is extremely rude and stuck up, not to mention they do not seem to know what they are doing. The pedicurist I had was fantastic and the pedicure looked great. The manicure on the other hand was not that great. I was getting my toes and nails done in preparation for my yearly trip to Florida. I had the treatments done on Wednesday evening and I left on Thursday afternoon. By lunctime on Friday, my manicure was already chipping. I was very unhappy with the nail treatment I received, but they definitely get an A+ for the pedicure. I would definitely recommend pedicures, but be weary of the manicure. Pros: pedicures Cons: atmosphere, I did not like being in same area where people walked in. When I am at a spa I like to feel like I am secluded. more

Nails 9/28/2007

We have gone here for nails in particular - never used them for hair. They do a really nice job with manicures and pedicures. A bit pricey but the atmosphere is a little nicer than some of the speciality nail salons. It does have a different smell, but I think it is probably all the chemicals being used. more

Ignore the front desk and its great! 3/6/2007

I'd have to agree with the other comments - the front desk staff here are idiots and snobs. The mentality I get from these folks are "You are SO wasting my time!" They simply do not have the time of day to answer any questions and they don't have the answer anyway. Pros: Great Massage Cons: Snobby Front Desk more

What a Bargain! 10/22/2006

I thought this spa was extremely helpful and affordable. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to save some money. more
