Johnny was ""the best"" experience here ever! This will be my 3rd Nissan. He was courteous, attentive and very very nice. You need more like him!

Editorial review from Citysearch 4/17/2013

I purchased a pre owned unit on 4/6/13 and called and asked them to look at and replace parts and they said no. The dealer is not to fix the car out of there pocket it is the customer responsibility. I hit the breaks and my front end just shakes. I even called he warrenty place and they said it was the rotors and sine the car has not been off the lot more than 30 days Wood River Nissan should correct it. Spoke back to Dan at Wood River Nissan he said all they could do is look at It, but i would be resposible for repairs. I would not recommend any one to the this dealership. \r \r The reason i went back to them to get another unit. I purchased a 08 Altima in 2010 and tried to trade in this unit in 2012 and was told from another Nissan dealership that the unit was in a accident and that was not disclosed to me at that time of sales. It was a fleet car purchased out of Florida they repaired it and finance it through Regional Acceptance Finace Corporation. I called them and they said the dealer could sel it cause it had less than 16% damage done to it. Never get a car finaced through them either.\r \r Wood River Nissan give a good speech on how they will take care of you and then bail. I guess since i'm a disabled veteran this is the service they give to us. As long as money is in there pocket it does not matter. I RATE THEM ZERO more

Editorial review from Citysearch 2/26/2013

My family and I have bought 5 vehicles from auto centers over the past year and a half and continue to service our 2 new nissans there on a regular basis. I rated them excellent across the board and they deserve it. They are great people and we have only had one issue with one of the used cars my aunt bought. The issue was addressed and the repair was made at no cost to her. Every time I am up there they are extremely busy, I guess some people may not like it but it just shows me that a ton of people think the same way I do…shop auto centers and save a bunch of money! Its definitely worth the trip to wood river! more

Seriously? 2/28/2012

Bought a car, called to schedule service as per our sales agreement, and scheduled the service date for the following week. After driving the hour to get there and drop off the vehicle, I was informed service was very busy, and an aforementioned loaner car was not going to be available. Our salesman, and the service dept have been very pleasant and agreeable, although if I had my 'druthers, I'd prefer tolerable and effective. I give them the benefit of doubt because life happens and they've been cordial. Hopefully they have a contingency plan for next Tuesday and I can replace this review with a story of good business, and value. In regards to internet reviews, generally, I find that no news is good news. More importantly, that companies with the intent to increase sales have a habit of under-promising, and over-delivering. My other vehicle just rolled to 120k, and is due to trade-in. We'll see. more

Horrible experience 2/24/2012

After they made me wait 2hours, went through all the paperworks, negociation and probably fake few resons to make me wait. I was suddently told somebody else signed the deal behind my back. This was unprofessional and deceiptive business practice. I had never written a review on a delearship or any company before. But they made me waste my precious time. I should have stick to my first intution when they changed the price of the Car online, increasing the price by another 1,000 for a vague reason. The good thing is that I would have not wanted to deal with a dealership I don't trust. I hope the person that bought the car probably for a 1,000 more than the orginal listed price will be happy with it. Glad I did not make the deal. Just becareful if you see any online listing from AutoCenters Nissan, 1825 Edwardsville Rd. The listed price you see online may change at the dealership. Becareful dealing with them especially for online listing more

Rip Off! Never Again. 12/15/2011

Bought a used car from Autocenters. Car was a complete Lemon. Was in the shop 4 times in 6 weeks. Broke down on me and had to have it towed. They gave me a 798.00 bill. I just made the first payment. And it had 68 miles left on the warranty. I told Rikki to shove the bill Up His Azz. The told me they would take back the car. But I would have to buy a new car. So I went from a 16K Car to a 27K car. Big Help thanks guys. Don?t buy from here. Just letting you know how they work. more

Horrible experience 6/8/2011

Went in after receiving a notice in the mail about a trade in value. My sister said that when she bought her Nissan they said what ever credit score you qualified for, was there for life. So, I was surprised when the salesman had to run my credit report. I was more surprised to see the numbers that came back with it. I left and went home, ran the report myself only to find he was lying about my score! Went to Bommarito who honored my lifetime credit rating with them, not credit report needed! Called the guy back to get my deposit back (which they took out of the bank and supposedly they aren't supposed to) and the guy said he didn't run my report at all. He said he gave me guestimations based on people who come in there. Really? Then why did Nissan show up as running my credit the same day I did?? The person I bought from at Bommarito said he used to work there.... RUN! more

Never again 4/29/2011

I have never felt compelled to write a review about any company...ever...until now. I was attempting to purchase a car (cash deal) for my daughter who fell in love with a used car on their lot (her beloved first car had been totalled in an accident). After negotiations.... which were unprofessional and unreasonably painful even for car dealerships....I returned to a higher price the next morning because, and I quote the salesman on behalf of the sales manager...""he didn't want you to think he was a liar when he gave you his bottom line yesterday"". What????? After my incredulous response they did eventually honor the original price....of course there where some extra costs we still had to go over......why was I not suprised. Against all my good judgement, I purchased the car to help heal the still fagile psyche of my daughter (we are happy with the car...so far.) I will not return and cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. I can assure the dealership however....the salesman/sales manager certainly did not sell this car to me...my daughter did....perhaps she should get the commission? more

Service 12/20/2010

Last month (November 2010) I went to get check an airbag light, they refused to check it arguing that they didn't have time to do it, but then they changed a hose that cost $11 and charge me $110 for the manual labor, so I left with a $161 bill and the airbag light is still on. I guess they just care about the money and not their customers safety. I'm very disappoint it. more

Best Buying Experience 12/1/2010

I just wanted to let someone know how great Brent Marburger made our car buying experience. He really went the extra mile in every area he could. We were making a trade from a sports car to a more family friendly vehicle, a 2004 Nissan XTerra. He was very kind from the start and very thorough. He is hands down the most helpful and kind salesperson we have ever met. He made sure that some imperfections in the vehicle were taken care of before we drove it off the lot and that gave us peace of mind. I don’t think I have ever been so comfortable buying a pre-owned car as I was with Brent. I also want to say how nice and helpful Adam Marburger was with our financing. He made sure we got the payment we needed with a warranty that suited us. We had a wonderful experience with the two of them. We will definitely be back in the future, as well as refer our friends and family to Brent. We also love how we got license plates instantly!! GREAT SERVICE!!! Taylor and Tyler more

Sorry this is wordy, but I'm still a little steamed about my experience last night with this place. Not to knock anybody, but, being an ASE certified technician and having worked in some dealerships, I feel I have more knowledge about vehicles than the average car buyer. I have never bought nor traded in a vehicle I didn't thoroughly research. I have never been "sold" a vehicle; I know exactly what I want and I buy what I am looking for when the price is right. When my wife found a nice Quest minivan Autocenters Nissan had listed on the internet, I checked with my bank, Kelly Blue Book, and NADA on the trade in and suggested retail values of our Suburban to be traded. I knew I owed $5,000 less than retail and loan value, and also a little under trade in value. We had made sure prior to leaving the house that my self-employed wife was approved for financing. When we got there, it took about 2 or 3 minutes for my wife and I to give each other that look that says, "This guy (Larry more
