They saved my family vacation! Scott and Company really cared for my three dogs! One of my older dogs needed medication and special food! They did a better job than I could have done. I ran out of her special food and they went to the store to get new food! They bathed my dogs and even washed all they blankets and sheets. Ignore, any negative ratings and reports this place is a WINNER! You can leave your pets with peace of mind! Thanks! You guys are the best and life savers! more

I have been using the Atlanntic City Pet Hotel for boarding, grooming and daycare. I can't say enough good things about them. They are great with my pets and do an exceptional job. Many of my friends and neighbors use them as well, and are very satisfied with their care.They have been a lifesaver on many occasions. Whether I have last minute business travel or a much needed vacation, I know I can travel with peace of mind. Whether I am at home in NY or at my home in Margate I always use the Atlantic City Pet Hotel because they are the best with my pets. My pets love the personal and individual attention they get from the entire staff They are in a great location and available 24 hours a day. When I return home from vacation or business I want my pets picked up or brought to my home as soon as I land. It is a pleasure not to mention a great savings to be able to pick themn up according to my schedule and needs. Each of my pets have different needs and requirements, and the AC Pet Hotel carries out exactly as I ask. My pets get lots of playtime and they don't charge extra. My big one gets lots of excercise in addition to his 4 individual walks/runs. My littlle one gets to stay up front with other small dogs her size thay play well together. The pet hotel also puts sanatized beds and toys as well as pink and blue dog houses for them to use. I could go on and on about the special services like brushing the pets every day anbd cleaning their eyes, but I think I said enough. Anyone who would say anything negative about this pet hotel is either a jelous competion, someone who has a personal vandetta or just has a few screws loose. I was pleasantly surprised to find this wonferfdul facility.\r They are convenienty located in a safe residential area just blocks from the Hlton Hotel and Casino, the beach and boardwalk, in a landmark building. The facility is clean, the staff is excellent, and most importantly they give tender loving care to all of their guests. They are available 24 hours a day and provide many unique special services at no additional cost. The exrtras include 4 walks a day, lots of playtime, plus many additional services with no extra hidden costs or charges. THE ATLANTIC CITY 24 HOUR PET HOTEL SAVED MY FAMILIES VACATION. We could have stayed at any of the Luxury Casinos for less money but we chose thre Sheraton because they claim they accept dogs. They certainly do BUT you can't leave the dogs alone in the room. We went to AC for a family vacation to go to the beach, pool, boardwalk, amusement parks, and the casinos. We only found out that we could not leave our dog alone in our room after we checked in and gave our credit card. We were very upset and thought our vacation was ruined until we called around and got execellent recommendations and references on the AC Pet Hotel. We called them at 8:30pm and they gave us lots of information about them and BEST OF ALL they told us we could visit our dog everyday and even take her out also without an additional charge. They were very sympathetic to our situation and invited usover immediately for an inspection tour. They picked us up annd brought us back to our Hotel. They even tracked down our Vets home number since the office was closed and the pet hotel could not accept our dog without current vaccination records. We had a great vacation and our dog loved her stay at the Pet Hotel. The AC Pet Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood on a side street less than two miles from the AC Casinos. We have been boarding our fur children (four dachshunds and one cat) at the AC Pet Hotel on a regular basis over the past several years while traveling and on an as-needed basis after being referred to them by a friends. more

We never worry about their safey and care because Jackie and Scott run a professional service with the help of full-time support staff. One of the services provided is dog walking, which our dogs always get excited over. When we return, our fur children are always happy and they continue to play while we get a full report on the care they received in our absence. \r \r I have been in the back rooms many times and it is kept very clean. The staff has been trained to not only care for the dogs but they play with them as well. Any accidents are cleaned up immediately. No animal is permitted to stay unless they are up on their shots and the well being of all the animals at the Pet Hotel always comes first.\r \r I would highly recommend the Pet Hotel to anyone looking to board their dog or cat, who are looking for peace of mind while away. The place is NOT smelly and dirty. It never has been. And I was dropping my dog off this past Sunday when the previous person was picking up their dog so what they saw/smelled - I have no idea....... Scott and his crew are always professional, attentive, and great to my dog. more

We have never taken our dogs there before but because the place we normally take them too is closed on Sundays we decided to board them in AC so that they were close to where we were staying. \r We found them online when we goggled pet boarding in AC. Upon calling I talked to the owner who was very nice. He stressed that the dogs get bottled water, the facility was cleaned twice daily and the dogs would be walked 4 times a day. This sounded great to me and my girlfriend and we decided to take our dogs there. DO NOT BE FOOLED. IT IS DISGUSTING!!! When we arrived the first thing that is unappealing is that the facility is on a main road with no room to realty let the dogs out. But we figured that wasn’t too big of a deal. When we entered I was overwhelmed with the smell of urine and feces. The floor was dirty and not what we had pictured by the description we were given. (Notice when you go to their website that there are no pictures of the floor or back room where they keep the dogs just a brief video or the front area that doesn’t do it justice.) My girlfriend did not want to leave them there but we had just driven 3 hours and had no other options. So finally she said ok and we left.\r We were supposed to stay in AC for 2 days and nights but only booked the pet hotel for one night due to the fact they said if we booked it for 2 night and left early we would still have to pay for the second night and we wanted to make sure it was place we would want to keep our dogs for 2 night. After we dropped our dogs off we knew we were leaving the next day. There was no way I was going to subject my dogs to that environment. \r Now out of our 3 dogs. One of them is only 1 and is pretty hyper. But she has been boarded over 20 times at 2 other places and has never come back dirty or smelling. When were arrived the next day the place was still dirty and smelled of urine and feces. I know they said they clean two times a day but I don’t think the bottle of febreze next to the register qualifies as cleaning. I just wanted to get my dogs out of there. When they brought my dogs out I was so upset. The first one they brought out was covered in water and puke. The girl said she just spilled her water bowl but you would think that they would try to wipe it off her before they brought her out to me. All three of my dogs were shaking nonstop. I was very unhappy to say the least. I just wanted to leave but the owner was busy on the phone and took his good old time as if I wasn’t there. He didn’t even say thanks for your business. I’m not even sure if he put down the phone to ring me up. Either way our drive home was awful. The smell from the dogs filled the car and we road with the windows down the whole way home. I had to give them 2 baths each to get the smell off.\r I normally do not write reviews for anything, good or bad. But I am animal lover. We both volunteer at an SPCA that has up to 50 dogs at any time and none of the dogs smell like mine smelled when we picked them up.\r I will never go back. I would rather cancel my vacation than go back. \r Now I'm sure they are going to write a response saying my dogs were bad or were dirty when I took them there (which they weren’t) but if you are even thinking about taking your dog or cat here I would ask to see the back room and make them refund your money if you aren’t satisfied, which I'm sure they won’t do. Before our trip to Atlantic City we tried to find a pet friendly hotel to stay at with our dog. There is only one pet friendly hotel in AC and they were completely booked so we started to look for a kennel or doggie day care. The only place we could find in the area was the AC Pet Hotel. I was a little skeptical about leaving my baby there because there were some terrible reviews, but since it seemed like the only option I hoped that the good reviews were right and the others were just making things up.. unfortunately that was not the case. When we pulled up to the AC pet hotel the outside looked a little shady, upon walking in the place reeked of urine. I was told that they were in the middle of cleaning, so again I was optimistic that one of the dogs had just had an accident and they were cleaning it and that was the reason for the disgusting smell. I left my dog there over night and when I walked out of the place I asked my boyfriend who was with me what he thought, he said if it was for more than one night the dog would absolutely not be staying there and he couldn't believe how bad it smelled..like a combination of urine and cleaning products poured on top. I called the pet hotel later that evening to check on my dog and it sounded like the owner was reading from a card and not actually having a conversation with me. When we returned to pick the dog up the next morning the place still had the same disgusting smell. We paid and got my dog out of there as soon as possible! My dog goes to doggie day care 1-2 a week and loves it, he gets excited while we are on our way there and when I pick him up I am always greeted with kisses and a very happy boy... when we picked him up from here he ignored me in the car for a few minutes and he reeked of urine! I just went back and read some of the reviews again and I am sorry that I ever put my boy through this. I am also shocked at the rude responses the owner Scott has left in response to peoples negative comments. If you ask me it screams out how unprofessional he is. A professional business owner would not yell at his clients and say that nothing is his fault. I will NEVER bring my dog to this place again and if you are smart you will not either! more

I called about 2 days before picking my dog up to warn them that I was coming to pick him up. By the time I got there, they were not ready at all. I had to stay for about 30 minutes extra waiting for them to look for all of my dog's belongings. Also, I was completely horrified to see what had happened to my dog. My dog's paws were completely yellow from his own pee. I was utterly disgusted especially since my dog is a Maltese with a beautiful white coat. Besides having yellow feet, my dog had mats all around his body from head to tail. I just simply could not grasp the fact that this hotel also offered a grooming business. How were these owners able to hand a dog back to his/her owner when the dog is completely dirty and has mats all around the dog's body. Its been 3 days since I got my Maltese back and I have bathed him. His feet is still yellow and I had spent hours trying to get the mats out of his hair. Nothing has worked. Now i need to wait atleast a few weeks for my dog's hair to grow back before he can turn back to normal. Also, the owners kept on telling me that they brushed and showered my dog basically everyday since he got dirty everyday and that they brought him out more than 4 times a day for his walk. If they brushed my dog, my dog would not have any mats. And if they had brought him out to pee and poop, my dog would not have yellow feet.
