I have been a repeat client of The Atlantic City Pet Hotel for a few years, and I can't say enough postive things.\r The owners Scott and Jackie are two caring people who my dog Pumpkin loves to be with.I have left Pumkin for a two week stay, and when I went to pick her up she was so calm and content, that I felt neglected.\r Really, my wife and I feel very comfortable with the entire facility and staff..\r Boonie the groomer is great, and Pumpkin is happy to be groomed. The best way to figure out how a place treats your dog is how she reacts when she sees them again... Every other place leaves my dog shaking, but not Atlantic City Pet Hotel. As soon as she gets out of the car, she runs toward them, her tail wagging! She loves them, and this means we can go on trips without worrying about her. We discovered them by accident when vacationing in Atlantic City, and now, we won't leave her anywhere else! We will drive two hours each way, so that she can stay there, because no other place will do! They give her more love, care, attention and opportunities to play than we could possibly do at home. And- they are open 24 hours a day, which- when you have a full-time job is rare and important. We cannot say enough about how awesome this place is! The owners are loving and sweet and my dog is happy and well cared for... Definitely worth the commute!!!! Pros: Amazing! Loving to my dog! Awesome 24 hr service! Cons: No drawbacks (other than I wish I lived closer to them!) more

Scott and Jackie the owners of the AC Pet Hotel are the best. They sincerely care about our dog Pumpkin. Believe it or not, Pumpkin is excited when we pull up to drop her off. We have left Pumpkin numerous times and feel comfortable about leaving her. They treat her like one of their own pets. We take her there to be groomed at least twice a month. When I go to pick her up she is walking around and not caged in. Very often she is sitting next to Scott. This is a great place. Thanks for taking such good care of Pumpkin. I like leaving my dog champ there mostly for daycare (although I have boarded him there as well) and grooming. He seems to like it and likes being around other animals. I would recommend anyone with a pet to call Scott as you will not be disappointed. Joe, Stacey and Champion! I am not one for writing reviews, however. the Atlantic City Pet Hotel took such amazing care of my dog I had to take the time to write one. It was a Holiday weekend and my family wanted to meet in Atlantic City for a Holiday dinner. With everyone spread out and my son unable to leave Princeton University for the weekend, it was the perfect solution for everyone to get together. My problem was that there was not anyone available to care for our 5th child. The Hotels don't allow dogs, and our dog has never been kenneled. I did call a pet sitter who comes 3 times a day to walk and feed, but I felt terrible leaving him home alone 24 hours a day. I made calls to friends who have dogs and they recommended that I take my dog to the Atlantic City Pet Hotel, so that we could travel both ways with him, place him where he would be pampered day and night, and we could see him during the day. It was a sold out weekend, yet the pet hotel still treated our little boy like royalty, and made him feel welcome. They gave him a nice sized individual room with a freshly cleaned bed and blanket, bottled water served in a dish fresh from the dishwasher. While we were there, we observed a few different people individually walking each dog. We asked for a complete inspection tour of the facility upon arrival, and they were more than happy to. I observed the grooming room, where there was someone giving each dog a daily brushing, cleaning each dogs eyes, and making sure each dog got a bow or bandana. I visited during the rain and they were walking each dog with a large golf umbrella, and someone was drying and cleaning their wet paws upon return. I was told that the dogs that refused to go out in the rain went to the Pet Hotel block long yard, that was covered to prevent the dogs from getting wet. I was told that each dog was escorted and stayed with until they finished their business. In the back area , I observed staff alternating large dogs for playtime. In the middle I saw staff playing with small dogs. In the front reception area was the owner holding a king Cavalier, and a kennel Assistant holding and playing with a small long haired dog. They told me that the parents of the two dogs they were playing with upfront, did not want them playing with other dogs, so the staff plays with them. My dog was happy when we visited, but did not want to leave. They really did treat him as if he was their own. I had a wonderful family weekend and my dog made new friends ,and found a home away from home. I am a Long Island CPA and have very limited travel time. I already made reservations at the AC Pet Hotel when we go on our Christmas/New Years Florida vacation and Caribbean Cruise. and for our 10 day Caribbean Vacation after tax season. I feel confident knowing the owners live on the premises, in a safe, area with cameras on the dogs 24 hrs a day. You have to visit to see what a happy loving facility the Atlantic City Pet Hotel offers. I hope they update their web sight to show what a wonderful facility they have and list all the special services your pet will receive during their stay. I was clearly explained the various options, and given an after hours telephone number which I was instructed to call. Before leaving my dog, I asked to see where he was staying, because I had read the other reviews, and wanted to see for myself what the real truth was! Well, I would have driven back home if it was anything like any of the really bad reviews that I read.....but, it wasn't. It was clean, comfortable, and a spacious accommodation. I just don't understand where some of these ""Reviewers"" got their information. (Note: What I saw was exactly what I was told by other people who dropping their dogs off, and were picking them up.) When I picked up by dog at 9:45pm, there was someone waiting to give me my dog. My dog was happy, and clean, and I was very pleased with this service. They love their long walks, lots of play time, and the love and attention they get from the wonderful caring staff. They especially love playing with other dogs that are the same size and temperment. \r \r When I tell them they are going to the pet hotel in Atantic City they race to the car. As soon as we arrive they are jumping out the door and running into the front door of what has become their second home. \r \r There is another family with 2 boxers that go there frequently as well. If they are not staying on the same dates, one of the staff members calls their family, and they bring the (2) boxers from Margate for doggy daycare so they can play with my guys.\r \r What a wonderful clean, safe and happy place for my boys to enjoy. I also love the fact that i can take them out during the day when we start to miss them. Pros: Unlimited attention. Pets are treated like royalty! more

I owned my own Pet Grooming Salon for many years, so it has been very hard to find a Groomer and Pet establishment I can trust, and have total piece of mind!\r The Atlantic City Pet Hotel gives my pets the same loving care and professional grooming as if I was doing it myself! The dogs love the facility, and staff. I would not send my pets to any other Groomer, or Pet Hotel. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants nothing but the best for their pets. If they would spend as much time cleaning the place as they do posting phony reviews, maybe I wouldn't be writing this.This is the worse place to leave your pet. I got one smell and looked at the dirty cages and took my dog to another place in the next town.Too bad this is the only place close to the casinos. If you love your pet you will do a little driving to make sure they are well taken care of. This place stinks. Pros: no one thing Cons: the whole place more
