The technician was knowledgeable about the service repair but he had to make a return visit to teach me how to take care of the situation in case it reoccurs in the future. Remember to let the scheduler know in advance so that you are not charged twice for the same service. Luckily the technician was nice enough to teach me how to light my water heater pilot on his return visit without requesting me to pay an extra fee. more

I have already submitted a review. But here is a recap of what I said.... I called them for a service call and told them I need somebody to come look at my hot water heater to see if you can fix it. I said the pilot light won’t stay light and now it’s not wanting to light.. can u send somebody out to see if they can service it.? They said sure.. I had a plumber out few years back when it did same thing and the took it apart and cleaned it had carbon build up on it and they said it might do that again down the road so with that said I figured any company could do that basic service for me. About the only service they did was press the ignitior to try n start it and said you need a new unit ?? Not sure how u can determine that by not taking it apart and cleaning it?? Anyways all service I got was 3 quotes.. One to replace one unit one to replace both units and one to go with a tankless model ??? When all I asked for was it to be serviced. The prices I was quoted was ridiculous!!! $1,444 for one water heater install ? $2,888 for both to be replaced Over $4,000 for a tankless model. Tech was at my house no more than 10 or 15 min spent more time typing me up a bill and quote then looking at my old wAter heater and since it was 11 years old he didn’t seem to wanna even mess with. That’s the only reason I had them out was to service it !! I looked up the price for the exact model you quoted me and ace sales it for like $599 So that makes your labor you charge Over $800 per unit and $1,600 for 2 which is 3x higher labor or more then the average cost to replace and that unit would cost me that much if I was to buy it so I’m sure the actual cost on it is cheaper for you to buy.. so long story short you basically charged me $89 for the service call and did nothing but give me a ridiculous quote I coukd of obtained over phone. You send out 2 techs one stands looks entire time and other guy says write him up quotes for new units and leaves me with a $89 service bill. That’s poor customer service as far as I’m concerned and I feel like I was ripped off.. Well u did respond back to the review I wrote so not sure why its asking me to submit another one??? The response I got back you was gonna refund me my money for be $89 service charge yet I noticed you went ahead and cashed my check and I not seen any refund at this point . I have the response off here stating u gonna refund me my money ??? And to answer why did I go and get other quotes if all I wanted was it to be repair?? Simple I just paid you $89 to do nothing so I’ll have to pay another plumber a service call now to come look at it and after the horrible experience I had I was not gonna risk get taken again.. I called around got quotes to replace it and found out the I can get a better water heater that u quoted . U I found one fo $475 cuz I purchase 2 of them and labor was only $300 each so I could get both them replace for what you wanted to charge me for one almost and I get an additional $50 rebate back on the heater also $875 is sure lot cheaper then. $1,444 do not you agree ... Would u pay be happy if u ask for a service call and u get a bunch of high ridiculous quotes ? Not sure who would pay $1,444 to install a water heater in my area that is a joke more

Called to have them look at one my hot water heaters to see if they could repair it since they pilot light would not light. Had another company out 2 years ago cleaned the assembly and burner and worked fine they told me I might have to have it done again as it might do same thing because the age of unit.. so when I called them I assumed they was gonna look at it and try clean and repair it basically all the did was tell me oh u need new one because u unit is 11 years old past the life of unit and I need to replace both my units? So I get charged $89 for a wasted service call the price they quoted me for one unit to replace was $1,444 ? I see why they charge the $89 service call as they price the work at 3x price of anyone else n my area so I’m stuck l paying them $89 because I’m not a fool and gonna spend $1444 on one let alone have them replace both at $2,888? Oh I should go with a tankless one and spend $4000? I asked for a service call to repair a unit not get a over inflated quoted I could of gotten on the phone!!! The model you quoted me I could buy for $599 so that makes your Labor charge to install one water heater $814??? And if I did them both $1,624 are u insane?? I went and purchases two of the same kinda for each $474 and he install price was around $300.. so I had both my hot water heater replaced for price you wanted to charge me for one!!! Spending $89 on a service is a lesson learned and I will never be using you for my plumbing needs or my business either. I was told I’d i would agree to do work I’d get the service charge money applied towrods bill lmfao!!! I would hope so since your charging 3 times the rate for installing a basic water heater.. if that is not trying to rip a customer off I do not know what is. I have my invoices to prove my point if u do not believe me and I didn’t not go with the cheapest bid so my bid was still on the higher end but your bid was 3 times and 4 times higher than a few quotes I got. So thanks for wasting my time make good use out u $89 service fee be only time I spend money with your company ! In your list of options from the technician there should have been an option to repair/clean the existing water heater but all it says is that one of the two was not working and "customer wanted options for replacement." I will speak to the technician and find out why so many options were given for replacement when all you wanted was to fix the broken heater. I really just curious why you were getting bids if all you really wanted was to repair the heater; nevertheless we are going to refund your $89 and hope you have a great experience with whomever you chose to now replace the unit(s). more

Arnold & Sons were there the next day for our sewer emergency. George was very thorough. He checked everything, even with the Peoria Area Sanitary District about our lines. He wanted to make sure that we had a long term solution, and not just a temporary one. He really took his time to remove the problem, checked the lines with a camera, and put everything back. He was very professional. This company is highly recommended. more
