Very pricey simple fix! 6/23/2016

There's an $89.00 charge (I get it) to come out and diagnose the issue. Ours was a simple fix that the technician could've explained to me it was a simple reset button that I myself could've restarted the hot water heater. Instead, he did it himself and charged for labor which was 156.00. Was in my home less than 5 minutes so I don't feel that was a fair price to charge me and I expressed that feeling to the tech. He did drop the price $20.00 off the original but I still felt taken advantage of. The tech was courteous and professional but that's about it. more

A Professional Company 6/10/2016

Last fall we had a new water heater installed by Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg and they had to come back out and replace the pressure release valve (no cost to us) - some water was leaking onto the floor. The technician was very professional and he explained things to me in a very clear manner. I had a good experience with Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg. more

Great overall! 6/3/2016

I had a leaky pipe in my basement. Ended up having that pipe and entire old pipe setup replaced. Joe did great work, and was a very knowledgeable and nice guy. The only downside was the near $500 price for an hour's worth of work. But I suppose that comes with the territory. Overall a great experience! more

I have used the company for several years and I like their professionalism--and that there are never any problems making appointments with them. Not sure if i duplicated this review in a previous attempt. Waiting on dirt to settle above the sewer work before putting barrier with rock. Brick to be cemented in later per Mark Arnold. Turned a frustrating situation into a more pleasant one. more

Residential ejector pump replacement 5/8/2016

I was very please with the service I received. Our ejector pump for the basement bathroom wasn't working and we had water on the floor in the bathroom. This happened on a Saturday and a plumber named Nate was able to set an appointment for the next day. Nate informed me that we could still use our main floor water which was very helpful to my family. The next day he was able to successfully replace the pump. He showed me the differences between our failed pump and the new pump. It was clear that the new pump was of superior build quality. He also improved the installation of the plumbing to the pump which had previously been crooked and would $@!#% whenever the pump activated. With the new pump, check valve and plumbing installation, the performance is far superior. He was able to finish the work in a relatively short time. He also helped me with a drain clog in the same bathroom and made light work of it saving me time and money. I could tell that Nate really knew his stuff. I will definitely call Arnold & Sons when we need their services again. more

High Prices 4/21/2016

Upfront fixed visit price to quote is nice, but didn't expect the quotes to be so high. Wanted $600 to replace 2 outside faucets. When I said I thought that was high the service man couldn't have cared less. He shrugged it off and went on to his next high dollar bid job. more
