There's an $89.00 charge (I get it) to come out and diagnose the issue. Ours was a simple fix that the technician could've explained to me it was a simple reset button that I myself could've restarted the hot water heater. Instead, he did it himself and charged for labor which was 156.00. Was in my home less than 5 minutes so I don't feel that was a fair price to charge me and I expressed that feeling to the tech. He did drop the price $20.00 off the original but I still felt taken advantage of. The tech was courteous and professional but that's about it.
