After some months of dealing with a water pressure I called Appleton. Jennifer sent out their service mgr who identified the problem, wrote an estimate and arranged for a crew to come out and augment his plan. Everything was fixed and all is good. Great people to work with. more

The Appleton Campbell Techs and office staff have been nothing less than professional and excellent; they have our utmost respect, trust and confidence. When I choose companies to perform work on our home, I do so with the intent of having a long-standing relationship and that if anything were to happen to me, my wife has competent and trustworthy people on whom she can rely. I am not an easy person to please; I was brought up among old-world craftsmen who took pride in their work and did things right the first time, I expect that of myself and I expect that of others; I have seen that in the work performed by each of the Appleton Campbell techs (that includes plumbing, heating / air, and electric). They take the time to understand, they take the time to answer questions (and I ask a lot of questions), they have always responded quickly to my emails, their work is neat and of high quality, they keep the work area neat, they have always been prompt and on-time. They have made very good recommendations, thoughts / ideas, not just with current work but with future work that I have been planning to do. The office staff is also exceptional, very friendly and accommodating. To date, the work performed by Appleton Campbell for us has been: - installed a new Stiebel-Eltron Accelera 300 water heater, - update our electric panel (including putting in a whole-house surge protector and outdoor receptacle for an emergency generator) - put in a new well pump and well tank, and - service our heat pump / central air unit For future work, I will look to Appleton Campbell to replace a no-longer functioning oil boiler with a new lp gas boiler, install an lp gas tank, future updates to our electric system, and, when our current heat pump/central air needs to be replaced, then I expect Appleton Campbell will be doing that, as well. more

We proactively assessed risks of leakage in our system and eliminated them and installed an emergency automatic shut off valve that stops the well from pumping when it detects a leak. It gives us peace of mind. more

I want to compliment Mike on the excellent service he provided. He was professional, efficient and well informed. The one issue I have concerns the cost. Even with our discount the cost was above $1900. I checked online prices for Trident pressure tanks. The most expensive I could find which was larger than our replacement tank was less than $800. To charge at least $1100 more than the cost of the tank seems excessive. I have heard all the platitudes about standing by your work, etc., etc. and I know we could always have someone else do the work. But, that begs the question of whether your prices are excessive. more

Once again, the recent work performed by two AC technicians, Shane and Travis, to replace our master electrical panel was TOP NOTCH. They arrived early, always wore their boot covers when walking around inside our home, worked together as a team, coordinated via their walkie/talkies the panel's new and several additional on/off switches, and cleaned up their job site. When they departed, one would never know they worked in our home for more than nine hours.....A JOB WELL DONE, more

Danny answered our call for service and restored water to the home the same day the well pump failed. It was winter and cold. I think he saw the desperation in my face when he arrived to assess the situation. He and an awesome helper stayed out past dark in the freezing cold to get the pump replaced. The pricing was our only down side. Of course it could have been done for less - but not that day. So you pay to play. The service was excellent and we are glad we called. more
