Every time they come out to provide service they find something else that either needs to be replaced or fixed; sometimes the new repair or replacement is related to the service they are currently there to provide but not always. I had them come out to work on my AC unit and they wouldn't touch it because they said the mold was so bad the whole unit needed to be replaced for $7k. It was a hard sell and I ended up agreeing just to get them to leave then I called and cancelled. I called someone else to do the work and when it was done I asked about the mold issue and he said that it wasn't out of the ordinary. I recently had them come to do the annual service on my heating unit and they wanted to replace my hot water heater for $2500 and replace 2 working thermostats, because they are old, to the tune of roughly $400 each. They won't be coming back and I won't be renewing my service agreement.
