This ""company"" is horrible in every respect of there industry. Look them up in the BBB and you will find not only they have been revoked in there accreditation but they also have an F! They said they served me witch they never did set a court date...long story short I got pulled over and went to jail for not filling out court paper work and not going to court! I never got served. Cost me a $1000.00 and almost my job. Further more I cant even get a hold of these real CRIMINALS. Ive been saving and Im going to sue them for pain, loss of wages etc... more

Most of you must have spoke to Carol Keen, he is a total ass. I spoke with Rick and he got everything handled quick and worked with me on payments. Carol just wanted me to pay right then and there, and he wanted me to get someone in my family to pay it for me. I hated talking to him so I just told them that I was not going to pay them if I had to speak with that grumpy ass old guy. After that I never had to hear his name again and they got me where I needed to be and now my credit has been finally figured out!!!!!! more

Calling them slimy would actually be a compliment. Unethical horrible pieces of scum is all they are. I am the victim of ID theft and have been trying hard to resolve it. Police reports etc. These people stated that I am scum and should have paid it. more

I had a collection account on my credit report that was held by Apollo Credit Agency. I knew I owed the money and I was finally able to pay it. I called and everybody that I spoke with was very friendly so I was surprised to see all of these negative reviews. Even after my payment was verified and the manager hung up with me, I realized that I hadn't received a confirmation number or updated my address, so I called back. They directed me to the same person and she was very grateful that I had called. I have been avoiding all debt collectors like the plague for years and I know how bad they all can be. Now I am finally in a position to pay the money that I owe and Apollo was very willing to take it from me. more

Is there a ZERO star rating?? If so, it applies. I had a problem with a check in 2006. It was referred to Apollo. After being contacted by them, I paid the amount of the NSF chack and the $40 fee. They returned the check to me after filing suit with the court. I was forced to pay $600 in settlement fees for a $53 check to the pharmacy. more

I guess I have to give them at least 1 star, when they deserve none. These people are exactly what every negative review states about them. They are rude and compassionless people who are just out to collect your money. I have a debt, not even totalling $1500, and they have ""served"" me ""three"" times, according to the lady on the phone. However, I was only served once. If they happened to serve someone else, they obviously havent hired very good process servers. They dont work with you and act like you are beneath them because you have a judgement. Half of the people in this country are going into debt, and honestly, I dont know how the staff of Apollo Credit sleep at night knowing how disrespectful, rude, and downright bi***y to people. I really don't know how these people can sleep at night. Jockeying on the back of pseudo legal piracy these people take advantage of those who have already been taken advantage by their bank or credit card. Just because there is some form of legality to what they do hardly makes it right. In the summer of 2009, I was telephoned by Apollo Credit Agency, and I was told that they already had a judgment against me. I asked for details: case no., name of the Court, amt. of judgment, date of judgment, etc. I also asked for information about the Return of Service. I was told I had been served during a year in which I was working in the mountains and NOT in metro Denver except very rarely. It sounds like they already issued a summons for court (which they do) for this debt, second.. even if your insurance is supposed to pay, if they do not in a timely manner you are liable. When they get a default judgment against you they can seize assets, call your work, and even issue interrogitories to you. Here is how to stop Apollo from taking more money from you after you paid them in full. 1.Keep all paper work 2.keep a copy of checks cashed by Apollo(get copies from your bank) 3.Day after Apollo cashes last check go to the court house fill out paper work so judge signs off saying you are paid in full.When you go to court make sure you bring your case number.Someone at court house will tell you what papers to fill out .Also when you do this interest stops adding to what you just paid them. If you do not they can come after you saying you owe them interest and you have not paid them.If they made you pay more bring all paper work to small claims court and sue them for max amount.Do to emotional distress and loss work hours.Charge them what your boss charges customers your going rate not your hourly wage. Also file charges against them with the AG office in Colorado Hope this helps someone There is one more thing.When you get your first papers from them about going to court and if you call them and set up payments still go to court that day the papers say to.Even if the papers say there will be no court Apollo will go to court.This is the first lie.show the paper that says they will not take it to court and hold Apollo accountable for what they do. In January ,2009 I had an unpaid bill amount of $975.81, which I set up monthly payments of 100 dollars a month to get it paid off. Oct 16,2009 I paid the balance of $75.81 which paid the full amount off of $975.81, which was a court judgement Apollo kept adding amounts to this bill, after I had paid it off. My husband received a garnishment of wages from Apollo today, in the amount of $279.92. This is a lie and I am going to take Apollo to court and provide my records of proof that this account was paid off. Apollo has no billing system, but I kept records and do have copies of the checks and correspondences to them. They need to be closed down. Pros: No Pros Cons: Bad Business more

They were rude tried to strongarm me, and mentioned the manager, I called and said I'd speak only with the manager thet REFUSED to put me in touch with her. The Receptionist also claimed I was raising my voice, after I asked if she'd like to hear me raise my voice so she can hear the difference she rudly sent me back to a rep. I'm on someones Insurance they called her and yelled at her, claimed she threatened the guy calling when it was the opposite that happened. I wil call the medical company and tell them they got what insurance paid and thats all they are getting I wouldn't even give them 1 star they deserve nothing not one star. When someone agrees to receive a product or good, and promises to pay in a timely manner it is very sad when they ""dine and dash"" so to speak. I read the previous reviews, and it is sad when times are difficult and someone becomes unable to pay those debts. Unfortunately, your troubles and issue should not become those of an innocent and trusting company. I feel bad for those who fall on bad times, but when they complain that it is not ""fair"" or ""fun"" to be held ACCOUNTABLE for those things that they enjoyed at someone else's expense even medical bills, times for complaining are over. Remember ""ONE"" thing...you benefited 100% from the good or service and the company will only now collect a fraction of the agreed upon price because you stole from them. The collection company doesnt work for free. How much fun and how comfortable is it for the company that trusted you to do what you agreed to do and then have to chase you down. If you ever get stiffed by someone you trusted to pay you, you should be lucky to find a company like Apollo that will do the dirty job of chasing them down for you. Hello, I guess It's no mystery that the same thing happend to me. Same scenario minus the lost job thing. United Healthcare denied my claim because ON CALL URGENT CARE noted my condition as pre-existing, i had gone in there because I had a severe case of the flu. Needless to say, that's when Apollo credit came in the picture threatening to ruin my credit and that whole thing. One year later, no notice from the ONCALL, no signs of any communications from their part, besides from my part of trying to fix it. I am a man who never likes to owe anybody anything, I settle my debts and pay those who are owed. This was not fair. Furthermore, I agree that checks is the best way because ever since I started paying them electronically, my account has been compromised on a few occasions. I need to have the feds look into this because if they can't even have a website, how technically advanced can their infrastructure be?!? scary, even 15 year old have websites! Hello I had a bill tha my insurance said that they won't pay and it went to Apollo Credit. I didnt ever knew about it till two year so after. I didnt think i was fair cause they never sent a bill of the cost and intrest keep pilling up. Brian my agent was rude he always accused me of not paying my bill and hanging up on me. He never listened that becaue of the economy I was layed off had no job and was to proud to file for unemployment. I'm still trying to find a job. He didnt care. I payed them off. Always ask for documentation and send letters and save them. Be tough and dont let them intimidate you. They told me that this would look horrible if I never payed. I never gave them my credit card because I felt that the company has no internet web site and I would rather pay by check just because they will charge the amount on the card and they dont care if you have the money. Apollo was great and easy to deal with. The lady that I spoke with on the phone was so nice. If everybody I had to talk to on the phone was as nice and helpful, interacting with collection agencies would be a lot less painful. more
