Overall the moving experience was marginal. I was going to use a cube but ht eprice of 1900.00 was about the same and they supposed would guarantee me a pickup and drop off time. This was not exactly true. I requested a specific move date because I was flying in from out of town to get it done. I signed a contract with this one date (May 23) on it. The date was moved back a day without my knowledge but I made arrangements to be there anyway. The day before the move (after I was already there with a return ticket back) they tried to change the date again. I really had to argue against this and they finally agreed. Once the mover showed up he was prfessional and fast. I was told that someone would contact right away with a final total for when the movers delivered my stuff. I had to call right up until the night before delivery just ot be told they didn't know for sure so just pay the original amount. This is hard to do when you have to ge the money out after the banks have closed for the day. Once they delivered my stuff my daughter noticed the bed cover wasn't on her mattress. The driver said it never had one. I personally purchased the bed cover the night before and put it on that mattress. I also helped load it on the truck with the bed cover. Not sure what happened after that. more

My experience was overall great. Monique was my saving grace. She was tireless in making sure I was taken care of. She called me sometimes daily if I missed her call. If it was not for Monique my experience would have been rated 1 star. Things started off badly. My pick up date which had been set up almost a month. Was changed without my input. Which left me stuck in a residence that I was supposed to vacate. Which meant I had to pay rent on two different places. Not to mention totally messing up the people moving in behind me. But as I said Monique worked very hard to help make my experience great. The movers were very professional, friendly and fast. Except for the first pickup date, they arrived when they said they wood. Awesome Move 6/13/2013

These people are wonderful. They helped me from the git-go and help me from making a mistake right from the beginning. They have a lot of people who would call to make sure I was being taken care of properly and to my satisfaction every step of the way. They communicated very effectively as far as my items, weight, what to expect, driver, truck, when the pick up would be, and what to expect. The would call me whenever anything changed. They were very straightforward with the prices and how it was all going to work. My driver was just outstanding, professional, well-spoken, and a very hard worker with a wonderful personality. All in all, I had a wonderful experience with All State and I am very happy. Their price was decent and beat all the others, and there were no hidden fees or charges.. Thank you for my good experience during this extremely stressful time in my life All State! I am former military, and I've moved more than most can imagine, but the military always paid for and took care of just about everything, so it was different then. Fantastic Move 5/30/2013

Job number 10223201-06 This move was SO hectic for me. I am a mother of 6 children, ages 2 to 14, and my husband is deployed. My stress level was at an all time high. But the guys who did our move, Russ and his guys, were AWESOME. I was a nervous wreck, and they were so good at putting me at ease, making me feel like I was in charge (something I'm not good at doing), and they made me laugh, a lot. They were there on time, both at pick up and delivery. They packed all my belongings with care, and moved things carefully. There isn't a single thing broken or scratched! I felt guilty because on both ends, my children were around, and getting in the way. But Russ and his guys were so genuinely good with my children. They spoke gently to them, and never made me or them feel like they were a bother. Russ was very careful to check with me often to make sure I was happy with the way things were going, and also had the company call from time to time to check in with me as well. I can go on and on about their professionalism, which was great, but I think more importantly, they were FRIENDLY, making me feel as though I could talk with them, and tell them exactly what I wanted. It really felt like I was working with a small family owned company, if that makes sense. My total weight was much less than anticipated, and I ended up paying less than originally quoted. Mom of 6 equals THAT WAS A BLESSING! I'd recommend using All State Van Lines to anyone. Right from the start, when talking to Joseph, he made me feel at ease, and answered all of my questions without rushing me, even when I asked the same ones over and over. I was TERRIFIED to make this move on my own, without my husband being home from deployment, but All State Van Lines made the entire process from start to finish easy. I'm truly thankful, and really feel like I was taken care of. more

Best Moving Company in US 5/28/2013

I recently moved from North Carolina to California and have hired Allstate Van Lines to move my household items. This company did a wonderful job in moving my items safely and promptly. Best Experiece!!! 5/28/2013

Recently moved from Illinois to Rhode Island. Job Number # 10228915-06. It was my first time moving experience and I was a bit sceptical on how it woud go. But thanks to All State Van Lines , everything went pretty smooth starting from submitting quote to the final delivery. After confirming the order, they informed the date for pickup and were right on time. The guys who came in for pickup were very friendly and professional. As per the contract upto 21 stairs and 75 feet were included. Since the distance from my apartment to the parked truck was more than 75 feet they charged a long carry fee of $150. All my items were covered in blankets properly and the whole process was completed in less than 2 hours. The delivery date and time was confirmed once I provided them the destination address and they were right on time as well. The guys who came in for delivery as well were professional and friendly. None of the items were damaged and whole delivery process was completed withing 2 hours. Total amount I paid was $1700 including long carry charges. Ashley from All state van lines was constantly in touch during the move. Overall it was a smooth and very good experience!! more

Wow! What they moved, in the time they moved and with the care they took! Thank God. We were in a crunch and they were able to move around their schedule to accomodate our short notice move. Phew...highly recommend them. more

I had a lot of bad moving experiences for sure....But I must say these guys were awesome from the beginning to the end. The mover's were fast but careful with my belongings. Allowing strangers to move your personal things is not the easiest...but All State Van Lines made me and my family very comfortable. Very Good Service 5/24/2013

I recently had furniture that my father built moved by All State and they took care to make sure it all arrived in good condition. The driver was courteous and very helpful. They kept in contact with me throughout the process so I knew where they were and when I could expect them to arrive. I am happy to have these items I remember from my parents home now that they are gone. Thanks to the professionalism of the company and their driver, it all arrived safely. They even delivered on a Sunday since getting time off from work during the week would have been difficult. At a little over $2000, I felt the price was reasonable. more

Very poor quality of service & attitude after they get payment 5/1/2013

They were 4 days late getting my items for the move. Sent a very unprofessional team out to my house to pick up the items, they were cursing and talking about where happy hour was the whole time they were loading our items in front of our 2 small children. They were not very professional about loading our items. The company wrecked the truck on the way to deliver my items. The top of the truck was ripped open and it rained on our stuff for 3 days. We lost alomst everything in this move and have been offered notning in return. We have gotten the run around about who to speak with until finally we had to contact a lawyer. Over $7900.00 damage to my Harley Davidson alone not counting the house hold items and furniture. Very poor servicefor moving and even worse customer service. Thomas Lee the sales rep for them will lie to you and never keep a promise. If you speak with him be very leery get EVERYTHING in writing and further more even record your phone calls for your records. We were offered a $270 adjustment for the trouble we have had. Beware of this company and its employees. Get a more reputable company with solid reviews it may cost a little more but at least you will get QUALITY SERVICE. Please do not let this happen to you be advised they are very poor quality and not very reputable. more bad reviews than good ones on this site if you look closely. more

Mr Lindamood, We here at All State Van Lines Relocation regret to hear about everything that you have been through as well as the damages and losses suffered throughout the duration of your move. After reviewing your account we did find that your household goods were picked up within the agreed upon pick up window according to the contractual agreement (09/10/12-09/11/12). You were picked up on 09/11/12. We regret if pick up was not performed within your preferred time frame and any inconveniences caused. Our company has a zero tolerance policy for employees exhibiting any acts of unprofessional-ism. We wish to inform you that immediate disciplinary measures were taken and the employee involved in such acts has been terminated. We are astonished at the inappropriate behavior displayed by the driver at the time of pick up and hope you can accept our apology. In reference to the damages suffered throughout the move, we have sent you the claims form and we urge you to return the form so that we can properly address your losses. You have nine months from the date of delivery to file your claims and ensure that you include everything that you notice has been damaged so that you may be compensated accordingly. Upon your request a separate compensation offer of 25% of your original deposit was extended to you but our records indicate that you have declined it. Please know that this has no bearing on your damage claims so we hope that you will be willing to take a second look at the settlement offered as we strive to ensure that all complaints received are resolved. On behalf of All State Van Lines Relocation, we sincerely apologize for the reported events leading to the unpleasant experience of your relocation. First time using a moving company! 4/26/2013

Overall it was a very good moving experience. There were only a couple things that could have made it better. I had a very heavy safe and told them right off the bat that it would take at least 3 guys to get it moved and they only sent two, so I had to be the third guy (61 year old woman!) Also, I was nervous that they subbed out the move, but my moving guys were the best. Igor and Francisco were very professional and a lot of fun and took very good care to be careful of all boxes marked fragile and when we got on the other end they listened to how I wanted everything placed in the storage unit. They packed me up on a Friday in Pennsylvania and I met them on Monday in Texas for the unload. The price did go up after it was all loaded which was a little disconcerting, but there was no way that I could have done the move by myself. All in all, they were professional, efficient and a lot of fun! Thanks guys! more

Recently moved 3/12/2013

These guys were just Great! I can't say enough about them. Agent Collette was my life line during this move. She worked with me for a couple of weeks trying to sett up a move that would be most convenient for me. At the last moment she was able to set up Billy and his partner who were on their way home from Kansas. They had me loaded and on the road within 3 hours. Yes I would recommend Collete to anyone with special circumstances involving their move, I really can't say enough about her. A lovely young woman. order# 10160375-06 more
