We have been very satisfied with Albert Nahman services. Recently, just before the arrival of house guests, we discovered we had no hot water! Carlos was able to come the same day, as our call. He quickly determined the water heater problem, explained it to me, showed me, then fixed it. He was cordial, professional and managed in an awkward space. He also reminded me to call if any other issue arose, though he was confident the problem was solved. Also I have been impressed with the Albert Nahman professionals who, when they arrive are conscious of being careful in their surroundings, wear coverings on their shoes if necessary and are careful too, in their work. I appreciate this. more

We used Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating once a long time ago and decided to use them again recently. Our toilets were leaking and they found the problem which was good. The technician who came, Michael, was so pleasant. Afterwards at dinner my husband remarked at how pleasant the experience was which is not something you normally say about a plumber. Its so nice that if you have to have a stranger or workman in your house that they are very pleasant to be around. He was very good about explaining alternatives to us. I think we will continue using them now because they were so good. more

I build, and I've been using Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating for over 25 years. One of the reasons why I use him is he has never left me holding the bag. That's been so important to me because most of the time, I'm not using his service for my personal living situation. It's for people who are dependent on me as a builder. He's been very, very reliable. Recently I installed some Rinnai natural gas heaters as well as water heaters in a four unit building in Berkeley. One of the occupants of the building called because the program for the heater wasn't working. To make a long story short, I was very impressed with the tech who came from Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating. He really knew the machines even though they were fairly new. He said he thought the problem might be the dust in that particular mechanical area, but he waited and helped connect with the Rinnai tech. Once you get into these software programs it's no longer a mechanical need, and you almost need to have another degree to figure out what is wrong. After we tried everything, it seemed as though the dust really was the culprit. The tech stayed for the whole hour, even though I'm sure he had to get to another call. He knew how difficult it was to get the tech from Rinnai, who was in a different timezone, and to get one that really knew what they were talking about. It was a really reasonable fee for the visit, and I haven't had a problem with the system since! more

The service in which I received with Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating was very professional and through. They were considerate of our house while working, showed up promptly on-time and worked in an efficient manner. I would highly recommend them to anybody looking for a plumbing service in the area. I am a satisfied customer and will continue to use their service when needed be. more

Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating came when they said they would, and they were easy to schedule. The guy who came to do the work was pretty thorough. He checked all the problems we indicated we wanted addressed. He made some recommendations as far as re-configuring the plumbing to make it work better. He replaced the garbage disposal in the kitchen, and he redid the plumbing to address all the leaks. He cleaned up afterwards. It was generally what I expected, but it was well done. more

Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating was great. A wonderful plumber, Carey, came out. She was very prompt, professional, and pleasant. She was very good, experienced, and answered all of my questions. She had to come out twice, and did a very good job both times. It was my first time using their services and I was very pleased with the plumber. more

I've used Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating four or five times. They replaced a leaking toilet, and I'm totally satisfied with that work. They've also come to work on the kitchen faucet two or three times over the years. They weren't able to fix the faucet. They said it was faulty and had to be replaced. I think they are good and reliable, and I would recommend them. The only negative thing is that I feel like the prices are awfully expensive. I don't know how comparable they are, but coming out to do 20 minutes of work can run into hundreds of dollars. But I'm not a plumber. more

When our air conditioning wasn't working we called Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating. They came to fix that, but in the process also found our ducts needed replacing because rats had gotten in. They were wonderful and did a great job fixing both problems. The technician, Will, could not have been kinder or more efficient in his work. He pursued the problems until they were corrected. I would highly recommend their services. more

I'm not a plumber, but Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating seems to do a really good job. They have shown up at least twice for clogged up drains. They came more quickly than I had anticipated and did a quick job. They have a fair price and left the place clean and tidy. And the drain works! You couldn't ask for more. The plumbers were very friendly and very clear about what the service options were. They were polite and nice. I felt very comfortable with them. I think that they're excellent as far as I can tell. A lot of other people must think so too because I see their trucks around town in lots of places. They've been around a long time. more

They recommend high quality, durable materials so that the fix lasts, and we appreciate that. The plumbers who do the work are all incredibly personable, friendly, neat, and respectful. Everything was great. Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating was a little expensive, but they did a good job. I had a water leak out front that they fixed. They do what they say they're going to do, which is very rare. I appreciated their service very much. more

Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating helped us out of a jam. We had a tree removed. The tree removal service nicked one of our pipes. Normally, we'd fix something like this ourselves. This was a difficult fix, though. Someone came within 20 minutes. He was smart and funny, and he fixed it quickly! more

Albert Nahman never disappoints. They are friendly and reliable and on-time. Tony is wonderful, and Albert himself comes to inspect the jobs. We have used them for large and small jobs. I would never use anyone else. more

Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating came in and we thought we had just a few issues with our AC units. They ended up totally redoing all the ducts and apparently the work done 15 years ago was inferior. They were very good about getting here on time, cleaning up, and coming back to do more work. They are responsive and they are excellent! more

Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating provided outstanding service when it took on our replacement solar tanks project. Not only was it done with professionalism, it was improved beyond our expectation, completed beyond the scope of the proposal, with components that were needed to insure proper operation. Of course, these components were added cost, but ANPH did it to improve the design. We are greatful to it's technician Tony for leading his team to tackle this large project, and who worked with the owner of the building to get the new system into operation. This is why we chose a Diamond Certified business to do the work. A big job done with great satisfaction. Thank your Mr. Nahman for a great job. more

Albert Nahman provides excellent service. The people who schedule the appointments are personable and accommodating. The plumbers have been on time, call ahead at the appointed time to let me know they will be arriving in X minutes so I can drive home to let them in, have been highly respectful of being inside private property, wear covers over their shoes when entering the house, are careful and methodical in their work, and focus carefully on their tasks and the work surfaces surrounding their work to protect and preserve them. I have had many plumbers in the past and have considered them very good to excellent. Now that I have been hiring Albert Nahman's company, I know what true excellence is. I recommend them highly. more

I am not very satisfied with Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating after installing our water heater. We were getting our home inspected and our water heater failed due to three things that needed to be corrected from their installation. They wanted to get the work done too quickly possibly and when we called to correct their mistakes they originally wanted to charge us for correcting their own installation. I was also not happy with the estimate which had no detail in it separating the costs for the heater versus the new parts, etc. They are fixing it now and have now agreed to not charge us for their mistakes and are correcting them now. RESPONSE FROM Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating: Please accept my apologies. Of course, we are taking care of our corrections and will make it right with the city inspector. I overhead an employee conversation with you that suggested an additional charge. That is not something I approved or agree with. more

I've had Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating out two times for a water heater and a pump for hot water. What stands out is their speed, courtesy, and the quality of their work. I've always used a different plumber in the past, but I'll be switching now. more

I use cleaning out my problematic sewer lateral as a way to check out what sewer services are available to me as I eventually will need to replace the lateral and it's a huge job. This is the 5th service I've tried. While it was expensive, it was by far the most thorough and professional. William and Sal did an excellent job and answered all of my questions without hesitation. Not only that they didn't have to be asked to do the whole line and since it's longer than the snake they when to the other end and did that as well. The video of the line is very helpful especially since they gave me a copy on the thumb drive which is a very nice touch. The only downside is that they did such a nice job I can continue to put off the inevitable replacement for a little while longer. :) more
