Superb performance 4/17/2012

I've used Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating several times, most recently for major problems. They just performed superbly. I commend their service, communications, timeliness, and neatness. They did very well, and I'd recommend them to anybody. more

My sump-pump broke on a weekend, with another rainstorm on the way. Checked Angie's list for recommendation, saw that Nahman Plumbing was top rated, called them. The came out same day, guy they sent was a dream--polite, friendly, neat and careful--and he pumped out my flooded basement. Couldn't completely fix sump-pump because needed a part and couldn't get it Sunday night. So he rigged a temporary fix to get the pump through the rainstorm that night, company called Sunday evening to schedule return visit next day, same great guy came back next day and finished fixing pump. He answered all my questions, said I didn't need a new pump (I was desperate enough to buy one). Whole thing cost me a third of what it did last time this happened (three years ago) before I knew about Nahman Plumbing. I highly recommend them and plan to use them again when I have need . . . more

The technician was on time, and friendly and was very knowledgeable. He was able to find the cause of the leak and offerred me several options. He also made a recommendation that actually saved me money! Very happy with what he did and would definitely recommend them. more

Solid, responsive, knowledgeable, respectfully managed. 2/4/2012

When we suddenly needed large scale plumbing work done ASAP in our 100 year old home they took it on. Their analysis of our plumbing problems was accurate. Alternatives and costs were clearly presented. Unforeseen trouble spots were patiently discussed with us before proceeding. All crew members were very hard working, on time every day. Albert Nahman came to this project several times and we are happy to recommend his company to anyone. more

Everybody, down to the front line people, is excellent providers of service 6/28/2011

The front line people are knowledgeable and skilled. They are low key in promoting what might be needed to be repaired, rehabilitated or improved. If anything, I'd suggest that a representative of the company follow up on previous recommendations with the client. more

Excellent! 9/18/2010

Nahman plumbers are reliable, friendly and best of all, always explain what is going on. Their dispatchers are also reliable and friendly. They do excellent work; I've never had to have them come back to correct anything. Once I had a small problem and they were overloaded; Albert got on the phone and walked me through how to fix it myself. I will always remember that. more

Work was done in a timely and efficient manner. Gustavo was courteous, explained the work to be done clearly, and was very helpful. I felt secure that if there are any problems with the work that Nahman Plumbing will stand by their guarantee. The only thing that needs to be adjusted are the boards that go over the sewage ejection pump. I called the office and they will have Gustavo come out on Wednesday to fix. more

Serious over charge 6/17/2010

The service man arrived and couldn't install the show fixtures that I had purchased but did install the faucet that I provided. He left gobs of caulking and charged me $232 for a faucet noted on the package as easy to install. This group is running a scam. RESPONSE FROM Albert Nahman Plumbing and Heating: Ms. Gallagher agreed to the price before performing the job and was displeased with the plumber because the sales person who sold her the faucet package(she purchased) said that this was a simple job. We charged her our standard fee and gave her a senior discount (even though she was not a senior citizen). I spoke with her personally and refunded her money. We want our customers to be happy no matter what. We're remorseful she was not ultimately happy despite our best efforts. -Albert Nahman more
