I think Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating did a fantastic job. They put in my new furnace in 2011 and we went to sell the place recently and from the time we moved out about two months later it had a slight leak, it was very slight but he came out and he put it in stuff that plugged the leak and let us know he did it. The guy was very gracious and just a really nice person, I don't think there was anything they could have been better at. I have already recommended them. more

Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating replaced both furnaces I had at the house. They showed up when they were supposed to and were professional and did good work from what I can tell. There was nothing they could have done better. I would recommend them. more

About 4 years ago I had both of my A/C units replaced with Rheem Prestige. Shortly after installation one of the units began making an intermittent, loud banging sound when it would start up. The sound was very sporadic, not always consistent and very difficult for Alaskan to pin down. Not that they did not try-several technicians tried to solve the problem but to no avail. Keep in mind that I was the one hearing the problem and they were working off a recording I had made. We could not duplicate the noise anytime a tech was here to repair or check the unit out. Gary Mullen to the rescue!! Gary was convinced there was a problem and got the local Rheem representative to take a look. Sure enough, he discovered something in the compressor that was not right and elected to replace the unit. Sometime later Alaskan arrived with not only one complete new unit but two!! They were not sure exactly where the problem was and did not want the other unit effected. Gary Mullens stuck with me to solve this problem where I'm sure others would have given up. This was a noise that only occurred intermittently and did not effect how the units performed-they worked fine other than the noise from the upstairs unit. Gary and Alaskan have provided excellent service and support throughout this scenario-they have restored my confidence in the fact that there are still people who care about doing things right and following up when things need fixing. I cannot say enough about Gary Mullen, his team and the outstanding support Alaskan provides. I highly recommend them for your AC needs. more

Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating just took too long to finish the project. We hired them to put in a new AC but they ran into several problems during the process, it took them almost a year to complete the problems that came up. The last time it was raining in September or October I was still getting water leaks through the ducts. The staff was really helpful and nice but the work just has taken too long, I haven't had a chance to call them back yet for the leaking because I haven't used the unit. more

Well Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating has been servicing my AC unit for about 11 years, so I have a relationship with them and when my AC unit went down they tried to save it and got it to work for a little bit longer until I was ready to replace it. When I finally did replace the unit they did a great job of getting the new unit installed and they have been servicing it ever since. The staff is always polite, they show up on time and I am just comfortable using them for my AC and heating needs. more

We dropped the air return vent where the air filter is and saw daylight, so Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating corrected that. The air conditioner had been sucking in warm air, so they sealed that. They also sealed the ducting system inside the attic with a spray they use for small holes. They did a very good job. Their staff is very professional, friendly and not pushy. They don't pressure you into making any expensive repairs. more

Alaskan Home Services checked each air conditioning and furnace unit for us. They come twice a year, and this time they put on an electrical surge protector and something else that cost $300. He told me I needed it and everything works fine. We have been calling them more than 10 years. And, out of all the years, I have only had two service people that did not meet my standards; everyone else has been good. Their price is on the upper end. Apparently, it is worth it because I always pay. I could have gotten them cheaper from another place, but I like the Alaskan units better. more

I've used Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating now for about 7 or 8 years. I keep going to them because I always felt I've been treated fairly, they respond quickly and I have never had a problem getting them out here quickly when I need them. They do very good work and I probably have them come out on a couple calls per year. more

We've been with Alaskan Home Services for fifteen years and we've had exemplary service from them after all these years. They come to do bi-annual check ups and have replaced our entire heating and cooling system twice. We've only had one visit that was bad and we contacted the owner in Phoenix and he fixed the problem within 24 hours, which was outstanding. They're very reliable and provide a great, quality product. They're looking for long term relationships with their customers and we've been pleased since the beginning. We would recommend them, it's rare to find a business that cares this much about their customers or does the same quality of work that they provide. more

I had Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating replace both of my AC units, I have two of them. And I also have a contract with them for regular maintenance and service. Every time they have come they have been on time and given me excellent advice on how to keep the units working to its full capability. I also appreciate the fact that they don't push you to getting everything they recommend. I never feel pressured into spending a lot more money with them. more

My HVAC unit quit blowing hot air and I needed it repaired so my landlord hired Alaskan Home Services to try and fix it. The technicians were very friendly and polite, but it was frustrating because they couldn't seem to fix the problem. It took them three visits to fix it and I thought that was a bit much. They eventually fixed the problem and they were really professional in my home, but I wouldn't exactly call them efficient so I would keep that in mind. more

Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating installed a new HVAC system at a rental property we own and the installation went very well, they had good pricing and they also maintain our furnace and AC unit at our primary residence. I have been using them for about a year and a half now and the workers are always very polite, courteous, on time and professional. I actually interviewed five other companies and they were easily the best both in terms of service and price. I am very happy we went with them. more

Alaskan Air Conditioning & Heating installed and retro fitted a new unit to our house in either 2007 or 2008 and we have had regular maintenance with them since then. In the first year there was problem with getting a specific part but ever since then they seem to do pretty good job. We have a contract with them and they always seem to do good work so I have no issues sticking with them. I would recommend them. more

Alaskan Home Services installed a new AC inside my home. They had to install air ducts on top of my roof in order to install the AC. I started to have problems with roof leaks; I discovered that the air ducts weren't connected properly therefore the AC wasn't functioning correctly. They had to come out to my home ten times to fix the leaks in 4 different rooms. My vents needs to be checked out for I don't receive any heat during the winter or air during the summer. The technicians do a good job when they come out yearly to check out the unit every winter and summer. more

Alaskan Home Services replaced two air conditioning units for us. The project turned out well, other than one unit being a little bit oversized for the enclosure. There were four installers, and they were all very good and very knowledgeable. We were really pleased with them; they were very good about explaining the functions of the thermostats we had installed. Their prices seemed reasonable and comparable. Given the efficiency of the units we purchased, I think we got a good deal. Both of the units were energy-efficient. The technicians showed up on time and completed the project on time. We had a problem with one of the thermostats and we had questions about one of the units firing on high, so we called them and they were here to fix it the following day. They were very accommodating and they tried their best to answer all our questions. We were satisfied with the great quality of the products and service. more
