Helpful to an extent 9/7/2016

My AC unit failed on me, so I called this company. Upon arrival, the technitian replaced the parts on the AC unit which fixed that problem then said the other problem was electrical and wasn't willing to look into it. I was without AC for two weeks at the time, so I was desparate to get it fixed. I ended up risking losing extra money to have someone else look at it, which they did at no cost, and found out that the other issue wasn't a problem with my electricity, it was the main control board in the blower fan unit. The other company had it fixed in a day. I would not recommend this company to anyone as they weren't willing to investigate enough to fix all of the problems. Unit replacement 9/7/2016

When Rick came he showed me where the leak was and said it could be repaired by replacing the lines. When Dirk came to talk about a new unit I truly felt pressured to get a new unit right then. On Social Security you don't have $6500. laying around. I told him a number of times I needed to think about it before he finally left. He called back a few days later and I told him I was going to get other estimates and his voice changed. He made it sound like my unit would go out any day. When I told him Rick said the line could be replaced for about $400. and I would like to know the exact cost. He said he didn't see any mention of it and he would check with Rick. Dirk never called me back. RESPONSE FROM Air Services Heating & Cooling: Jackie, we are so sorry that you felt so pressured when our technician came out and spoke with you. Our technicians are not prone to high pressure sell to our clients. Dirk was concerned for your unit and wanted to make sure that you were not going to be without air conditioning when it could be avoided. When our air went out on a Sunday evening in 90 degree weather we toughed it out until the next day to call for a repair. With the maintenance agreement we now have with this company, we will not have to worry about heat, air or plumbing problems. This company's employee who came out was great. more
