I had a great experience from the moment he walked in. He took his shoes off and was very polite . He presented the product and pricing and allowed me time to take it all in. Answered all my questions and left me with no doubt about who I was going with. Gerold is the reason I choose AWP. They have a great product but a better sales person. I will refer anyone and everyone to Gerold to make sure they have the same great experience I had. Thanks Gerold and AWP for a wonderful experience. My house looks and feels great. more

I purchased my windows from Advanced Window Products in Feb. 2011. I thought we might have missed out by not getting the BIG tax credit. The prices were so good I doubt it made a difference. The installer John Carlson was very professional to work with. He was clean and tidy. Very knowledgeable about the windows. The sales rep., Mr. Sommer treated us with great respect. He even took his shoes off when he entered our home. All around a very good service and product. Thanks again. more

My project went exactly as my sales person, (Gerald Sommer) told me. I have no regrets with going with Advanced. They were not the lowest priced yet they were the BEST quality. We have noticed a huge difference in our climate control of our home. Even with the crazy weather outside. Thanks, Gerald and ADVANCED for restoring our confidence in the contracting industry. more

I saw their ad indicating 18 months interest free financing.They did not mention anything in their ad that we have to put down $2000.00. When their sales man gave us the price and we agreed, he said they just can give us 12 months interest free financing instead of 18 months. After we signed the contract and we gave them our credit card number for $2000.00 down payment, they send another sales man who was very rude and lacked the social ethics. The moment he got to our house he asked to use our bathroom. He left the toilet seat up and sprayed all over the toilet. Few days after that they e-mailed us and told us the price they gave us was low and they are not going to do the job for us. They did not even try to give us another bid. Very unprofessional. They misinformed us from the beginning and simply wasted our time. Even on star rating is too much for them. more

We were a little apprehensive about getting windows because of negative past experiences. Previously, we had experienced high pressure presentations and outrageous prices. I was glad my friend told me about AWP. It was great working directly with the factory, because we got a higher quality window for about half what the other company wanted to charge. Advanced was responsible for all the work from manufacturing to installing the windows. Also, the salesperson was very helpful and easy-going. We couldn't be happier with our experience!\r \r Windows look great!!! Great local Company!!! more

I had a horrific experience with Gerald Sommer who is an employee of Advanced Window Products. He offered and promised if I accepted his bid for windows, to throw in for free a front door. He also made other promises that went directly against Advanced Window Products polocies and products. When the time came for follow through, he denied his proposal and never provided the door. When approached about the problem the company said they don't provide doors and this was something he does on his own. They did not even try to settle the dispute. This salesman will promise great things and not deliver..... AVOID AT ALL COSTS.!!!!!!!!!!! Pay more somewhere else and avoid the stress, headache, dishonest, revolting customer denial. more

Made several different promises to make sure he got ""the sale"" then didn't follow through. I think the windows are great quality. The installation was quick but they left a mess and when reattaching my shutters they did it horribly. Silver screws on black shutters and the head was so small the first winds we had blew on next door and the other down to only one remaining screw. It took several weeks to get someone out here to fix it and when the finally came, they brought white screws and BROWN paint to touch up. He told me ""You won't be able to tell."" !!! YIKES!! is that how my windows are installed too? \r \r There was snow on the ground so I didn't expect clean up to be ""perfect"" but, there were a couple empty chaulk tubes in the yard and metal ALL OVER my deck. I love the windows. Was very dissappointed in the salesman!!!!!!!!!!!!! He makes you think you're his ""friend"" by making promises he can't deliver!\r \r I personally would go a different route next time. more

My contractor ordered 2 large windows, exact same size, from Advanced Window Products. We were given a price and a date for right after Thanksgiving for delivery. When the windows didn't come in, we made a call and they gave us a run-around. They promised the windows by the middle of December, when the windows came in, one was right the other one totally wrong so we had to return it. Another date given, another passed week. Another call and were told they would be in for sure the week between Christmas and New Year's. Again, no windows. 2 weeks into January, I was livid and my contractor called and was told the windows were in, however, they couldn't find them. We were told they were on a truck to be delivered and we could expect it the next day. No truck ever came and no window. We called the next day to ask why it wasn't delivered and the person said they couldn't find the window. Are you kidding ME?? Why would they say it's on a truck to be delivered and now say it's lost? My contractor went up for the 4th time in 2 weeks and was told they were moving and so it was probably at the new warehouse. He drove to the new place and had to look himself, no window. He had to drive back to Utah County and just as he got off the freeway, he got a call from Advanced saying that they found it at the old warehouse. It never WAS on a truck scheduled for delivery, and they just don't seem to care about their customers. Service was horrible and the company very irresponsible, and dishonest in their dealings. I would never recommend nor use this i company again. more

Where has the customer service gone?...... Starts out with a phone call to Advanced Window Products to get a quote. The guy on the phone...yawns....""ok, what's your address"".....""do you know approx. how many windows?"" I told him, ""I know exactly how many windows""....after a few more questions he asked, ""What day looks good for you?""......after I told him Thursday the 11th @ 1:30 pm (Long pause) ""I guess we can do that"" Then he asked, ""Do you have a husband?"" Come on, what does that matter? I told him ""yes, but I'm capable of getting the quote"" He told me they like it when both husband and wife are present. Fine, I understand that but where I use to sell windows my husband and I felt it wasn't necessary for both of us having to take the time off work to be there. So day of appointment, I take off work at 1:00 pm so I can be home and ready for the ""sales"" guy ""Joe"" to arrive at 1:30. Well 1:30 comes and goes.......at 1:45 ""Joe"" calls and says he's running late...(really) he's in SLC ( I live in West Point) and he can be here around 2:30- 3:00. I said ""ok, if you can make it by 2:30"" He then says ""Oh we better make it 3:00 pm ..I need to stop and get gas"" Wow, I don't know where he get gas, but 30 minutes seems like a long time to me just to get gas???? So he shows up AFTER 3:00, comes inside sits down. Now because the fact, I sold windows in the past, I have already measured all the openings for him. Guess what?? He doesn't bring a pen in with him OR the sample of the window!! I offered him MY pen... he wrote down the list, priced them out, went out to his car to get the sample window, AND brought back in a DIFFERENT window then the one he quoted. (What the heck) You know I have been in ""sales"" since 1982- and still in ""sales"" IF I EVER provided Customer Service or lack of in which case I received, there is no way I would have made it. PLUS... when I questioned the advertising I saw from his company. He claimed he didn't know anything about it...his words ""they never tell us anything"" AND BECAUSE OF THE LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. more

I have an older house that was built in the early 1900s and it was beginning to look very old. I had my windows replaced and was surprised at how much newer my house looked. I never thought windows would make that much of a difference. The installation crew was very nice and helpful as well.? more

I had my windows installed this spring and absolutely love them. I have an older home and the windows completely made a difference both outside and in, giving it a much updated look! I purchased my windows last fall and I could not be happier. I have saved money on my utility bills because the windows are so much more energy efficient and I also got money back from the utility companies because the windows I bought are certified. I also got $1500 back on my taxes because I upgraded my windows. This made the purchase from Advanced well worth it. The people there are helpful, I did have a service issue but they were quick to come out and fix the problem. Plus, the warranty is good for life. I would recommend Advanced to anyone. We chose Advanced Window Products because they were local and we thought that would mean more consistent and better customer service. We don't have our windows yet but we have already found problems with the company. The saleswoman Sim Gill didn't tell us about or give us the 1200 discount that the company advertised and even went as far at telling my husband that she had told me and had automatically included it. She hadn't the price wasn't right for it to have been included and she had never said anything to me about it. When we contacted the company owner about it he told us he couldn't do anything to help us. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Pros: Good Product Cons: Dishonest sales, wouldn't fix more

I am very pleased with my replacement windows that I purchased from Advanced windows. I am also pleased with the window installation and would recommend this company to anyone who needs new or replacement windows. more
