Rebeccah was very straightforward and friendly from our first contact. She showed us the invoice price and offered the car for that price with no hassling. The trade-in appraiser was willing to work with us on our trade-in. After receiving a fair trade-in allowance (twice the amount offered from another area Toyota dealer), a deal was quickly formalized. The actual drive-away process on the day of sale took less than 1 hour, which included financing, signing of all paperwork, and the detailed inspection/explanation of our new car and its options, along with its warranties. Overall, the entire experience was low-key, no-pressure, and satisfying. We felt we got an exceptional car for a fair price in a relaxed business transaction. more

Fantastic Experience. Darwin Bridges was a great salesman. He DID NOT high pressure me at all, and work very hard to meet my want and needs. He helped me find the right car, a 2009 Toyota Corolla, for the price I could afford. Dave in Finance was equally very professional. After the paperwork was signed, Dave continued being respectful by showing me how all the gadgets worked in the car, ie, windshield wipers, cd player, lights, etc. I drove away a very happy customer. more

We were trading in a 4-year old Subaru for a new 2010 Toyota Venza that had already been marked down about $2,000. I was braced for getting a low-ball offer for our car, since the discount had already been taken on the floor model. I was pleasantly surprised by a fair offer and minimal (1 time) back-and-forth to the manager. The entire experience was relatively quick and totally painless. I did not feel like I had been manipulated or cheated. more

I have been with this company for several years. There have been a few instances where e we have had a need that has taken a few calls to get that need met, a non- emergency. However the front desk staff along with the entire staff as a whole has really helped my family any time we have needed help.I have referred and will continue to reefer family and friends. more

Meghan was friendly and courteous. When I stopped in, I just wanted to sit in a few vehicles and get the feel. I had never owned a Toyota. I informed her that I didn't want to feel pressured and she certainly respected my request. I appreciated the way she presented herself and her desire to be of service. She accepted a cell phone call from me on her day off. She went above and beyond to be of service and in answering my questions, etc. She clearly explained all the features on the Corrola. I did not have this same experience with the purchase of my last car.\r Dave in the financial departent was equally professional. more

I bought my first Toyota (a Camry XLE) in 2004 from Ackerman Toyota and found it to be an excellent car. I never had any service issues. I do use Ackerman's Service Department for oil changes and routine service and have nothing but high praise for them. The customer waiting area is always kept very clean, and stocked with fresh coffee,donuts and magazines. The service managers greet you immediately upon arrival, have always been friendly, cheerful and very helpful. I've even had occasion to speak to service technicians who also display the same friendly, helpful attitude and are very knowledgable.\r \r Recently I had been thinking about trading in for a new Camry. I received an offer in the mail (just prior to the St. Louis Auto Show weekend) that sounded too good to be true--triple rebates, 0% financing, high trade in value. I decided to go in and see what kind of offer I could get. Four hours later, I drove home in my new 2011 Camry XLE! Tom Finder, the Sales Consultant who greeted me as I stepped out of my car, made the whole process a very pleasant and stress-free experience. I never felt pressured, and if Tom was in doubt, or didn't know the answer to any of my questions immediately, he checked and got the correct answer for me (although he does know his stuff and I didn't stump him on much!). I felt he gave me a very fair deal, explained everything very clearly and took extra steps to make sure both my husband and I understood everything and that he had disclosed every possible detail. I would definitely recommend Tom and the dealership to anyone. more

I have bought many new cars over the years (4 in just the last 2 years), but have never had such a pleasant experience as I had with Ackerman. This is first time in all my experiences that the salesperson was completely honest and upfront about everything. (I do extensive research before buying a car, so I already know the numbers). This is also the first time I did not have to haggle about the price. The price Rebeccah quoted for the new car was excellent and the price given for my trade-in was very fair. I checked Ford, Chevrolet, Kia, Hyundai, other Toyota dealers, etc, and this was the most car for the money of any other brand or dealer. The business manager Dave was also very good to deal with. more

I have always had a good experience with Ackerman. I have used them to service my Toyota Highlander since 2006. They are always honest with me about the repairs I need and don't need. I am not a ""Car"" person so I am always scared someone is going to take advantage of that. I had a couple of tire situations where I just assumed I would have to get new 2 ones, but they were able to fix them and save me a ton of money. Which is good because I truly didn't have it at the time. Pretty fast on the service - I have been able to wait for a lot of my services in their lobby and work with their WiFi. Service Team is always very friendly to me. more

I recently moved to the CWE and started receiving coupons from Ackerman. And it was time for my oil change and 55,000 mile checkup ( '08 Corolla). So I called to make an appointment, and was greeted by a really nice guy who told me they don't do appts for oil changes, just bring it in during service open hours. He told me the price, and I told him I had a coupon, and he said, no problem. I'm more of an appt kinda girl, but, whatever, it was on the way home, so I brought it on in.\r \r About 40 minutes later, the guy comes back, tells me I need a new serpentine belt (it's got cracks in it) and that front brake pads are desperately in need of replacement, that I should go ahead and get that done. Ok, I'm no car genius, so I have him slow down and explain to me what that all means. No problem, he's very patient, breaks down the cost. I ask him for a copy of his notes, the total cost, etc. I'm not the one to not get a second look, so I say, ok, i'll keep it in mind, but not today. No more pressure from him on that, but he says the pads are pretty serious, that that should be something I get done within a couple months.\r \r Well, I take the car to my dad, and we actually look at the belt and take the tires off and peek at the brake pads. Turns out the guy wasn't lying or exaggerating. more

Went here for an oil change and the service was great! During Saturdays they are open from 8:00-2:00 and appointments are not necessary, just first come first serve.\r \r The people who work here are pretty friendly and nice. They know how to treat their customers right so I will definitely be coming back here for car maintenance. more
