terrible experience 7/16/2011

This was one of the worst service experiences I have ever seen. They told us 1 day to fix and 4 days later our car is still not ready. My wife just called me from Wilburn crying because no one would even speak to her. It's not good when they make your wife cry. Unreal. more

poor workmanship 6/21/2011

I wrote an earlier review with regards to my 7 day repair taking 21 days. I finally got my vehicle back and had major issues. The taillight that I waited so long for, was damaged and needs to be replaced again. A piece of my interior molding is completely missing for no reason at all. The drivers side interior door panel is installed poorly and is very loose. The paint doesn't match. Not even close. I've reported all of these deficiencies to Wilburn and am waiting again for the parts to arrive. At this point I have been waiting 10 days. Just today, I received a phone call informing me that the parts were shipped to the wrong shop and there will be further delays. I am unlikely to recommend this shop to anyone. If I'm not completely satisfied soon, I will have no option but to contact the BBB. Wilburn has a great reputation and I genuinely expected more from both the repair dept. and the customer service dept. I am very disappointed in both. more

Waaaayyy behind schedule 6/10/2011

Admittedly I can't give a comprehensive review yet since I have not picked up my car, but I can share a few thoughts. First off, my car repairs were supposed to take 7 days. When I pick my car up on Monday, it will have taken 21 days. I didn't even ask about the status of my car until around day 14. When I did, I was rushed off the phone with promises to be called "right back" or told "I was just about to call you". Once, after being told that I would receive a call in 10 minutes to update me on my cars status, I called the shop back 45 minutes later. After waiting on hold for 10 minutes, I was offered the one word customer service of "tomorrow". I has to ask..."tomorrow what?" I was told that I would be called the next day when my car was done. When I finally received my call at the end of the day, I was told that they were waiting on two parts a tail-light and a piece of body molding. These were two of the MAIN repairs that my car needed. I was asked to wait one more day and pick my car up today (Friday). After waiting all day, I finally resorted to calling the shop again. It seems that they refuse to call me and give an update. When I waited on hold another ten minutes, I was told that the parts weren't in and that I might have my car on Monday. That will be day 21. Again...a 7 day job to repair some moderate hail damage. RESPONSE FROM Wilburn Auto Body: With the recent hail storms that were rated a catastrophe by the NCDOI, it has been difficult to repair cars in our normal time frame. We apologize that you are not completely satisfied with your experience, if there is anything we can do to make it up to you please let us know.
