I took in consideration of the good online ratings I saw regarding Abacus Plumbing, Air Conditioning & Electrical - which persuaded me to try them out instead of their competition...

When they called to remind us that their tech was on his way this morning and that he would be over in an hour at the latest, and when I met the tech, (who arrived on time) My wife and I saw why Home Show Radio and the Houston Better Business book both recommend them so highly! more

Fast service 10/29/2015

I called Abacus Plumbing and Air Conditioning about something that sounded like an electrical problem. They came in right away and checked out all my outlets, but everything was good. It was my first time and I was satisfied with how they took care of it, though they didn’t find anything, I would call them again for an electrical problem. more

I had to have my AC coil replaced and tune up 10/27/2015

AbacusAC was very knowledgable and had my AC up and running in a timely manner. Both technicians were very well groomed and professional. I would reccomend their AC service more

Randy Wilson, Master Plumber, is the ""BEST"" of the best. In less than 5 minutes, Randy knew exactly what was wrong with the bathroom sink plumbing. He did an OUTSTANDING job explaining and showing the customer what was wrong and how it could be fixed. Randy is a model employee because of the following reasons: very professional, always prompt, so pleasant, always wears the blue foot covers/consideration of the customer's home, has a cheerful/optimistic/positive confident personality. Since we had water damage, Randy was instrumental in contacting Bionic Emergency services and they came and set-up drying equipment for the bathroom vanity, etc. When we have plumbing problems, I always request Randy Wilson because he is the BEST of the Best. more

I called today because I discovered water leaking out of the bottom of my garbage disposal. To my complete astonishment you arranged an appointment for today. I received a phone call when my technician was on his way and he arrived promptly thereafter. He wore paper booties to enter my home and after confirming my leaking garbage disposal he discussed all my options for replacing it and the prices for each of the options. I selected a new garbage disposal and he went to the truck, retrieved it and installed it for me. I am very happy with the service I received.? more

Thank you for the opportunity to comment about Mateo. Both my wife & I were very impressed with Mateo and his professional work ethic & knowledge. He is a great reflection of the company and ""High Quality Work"". The problem with our water softener was not obvious, and basic trouble shooting was not successful. However, Mateo was determined to resolve the problem. He continued to work in the hot sun and conducted several more additional diagnostic checks. He resolved the soft water problem using a dedicated approach, and in the process resolved a few other maintenance issues with our water softener to improve its operational function. A credit to Mateo, we now have soft water before the weekend. Excellent determination by Mateo and thank you for your hard work.? more

Good service, some pricing confusion 10/1/2015

Overall this experience was just okay. The service guy was really good, he did what he needed to. We had to wait an hour for a part delivery after he diagnosed what was wrong with our water heater. I also had to deal with the water heater warranty, trying to get reimbursed for the part. The communication with the Abacus office was unclear about the true cost of the part versus the cost of the labor, and the pricing was a little higher than I expected. Other than that we would call Abacus again, they managed to do a good job for us despite all that. more
