Don't trust these people. They will screw you over.\r \r I was a resident of Z Place for 2 years. They still decided to screw me over when I moved out. Even though I paid my balance in full, Z Place charged me for an additional half month of rent because I was not in El Paso to fill out the 30-day notice (which extended after my lease ended. I even spoke with the apartment manager via email and phone to let her know I was moving out. I was in the military, so technically I was allowed to break my lease at any time with orders (which I had). Z Place ended up sending the matter to collections and messing with my credit instead of working with me or returning my emails. \r \r Even if they are nice when you're renting, make sure you cover yourself once you decide to move on. Their customer service is terrible once you're not paying them. more

Z Place apartments are horrible... I am not one to write reviews but this place is awful... I only lived thre for 4 months until I couldn't take it anymore. Everything that could go wrong did! *AC Unit- DIDN'T WORK THE ENTIRE TIME LIVING THERE!! *Dishwasher didn't work *Sink leaked everywhere *Kitchen cabinets were painted so many times they were warped. *Garbage Disposal backedup *Sliding Glass doors broken and didn't lock *Master bathroom doesn't have an outlet *The manager of Z place is a bitch!!!! and RUDE ****Cleaned the place better than it was when I moved in there and am getting refused my deposit back. more

Z Place apartments are Horrible! The manager seems raceist and just plain snobby! The apartment staff itself tend to be informative on things that aren't important but not informative on things that are(like your rent going up without them telling you in head of town) I also suggest that if you have children not to live here because they don't seem very ""children friendly"" The apartment is not worth what you pay for it at all. I have a bathrom door that has been broken since I have been here(2 years) This place is a dump! Military BEWARE they have went up on their prices that seems to be aiming for your entire BAH!\r more

Z place apartments is horrible. First off, the management is ridiculous. They make you feel like you're not even worthy of human treatment. They always look at you like you're stupid. They are rude, inconsiderate, and shiest y. The actual apartments are below average. The paint is cheap... it peels off if you look at it wrong. The apartments aren't level. The bathrooms are very small. The carpet was riddled with dark hair, don't know whose it is. The kitchen is the most affected by the unlevel apartments. The stove does not cook evenly,and the cabinets are falling apart. The rest of the people who live there have a ghetto mentality it seems. They are always loud, trashy, and inconsiderate. It also seems like they have a fee for everything. You will pay so much for things you dont even understand. Oh...and the laundry rooms. The washers barely wash half a load but it costs $1.50. Then to dry your tiny little load it will cost you $1.25. I do have some good comments though. The maintenance team works really hard. They always get too your problem fast, and it may take them multiple visits for bad problems but the problem will be fixed eventually. The water bill is usually pretty low...depending on the size of your apartment, and basic cable is included with the apt. Bottom line... you pay way more then the place is worth. I am paying $830 for a 2 BR 2 Bath. Believe me its not worth it. This is a rip-off. more

PLEASE READ AND BELIEVE BAD REVIEWS!! I read them and didn't listen. I Moved here in June 2010 and can't wait to leave. Everything is painted with cheap paint...EVERTHING! Counter tops, cabinets, doors. You name it, its painted with this dull white paint. My stove only has two working burners the whole time we've lived here and I have a pretty big family. Awkwardly shaped bathrooms. Some doors dont properly close. Freezer has NO shelves!!! And there was a flood in the upstairs apartment that leaked into our home. Maintence gave us a bucket to catch the dripping water and never returned. That was 4 days ago. BUGS AND LIZARDS. Dog poop on every grassy area. Playground is just a big a$$ joke. Monkey bars and 1 slide. Thats all. Pool always looks very dirty and was dirty when we went for a swim, the day it opened for the season. The bedrrom are always hot or cold as the heat and air barely flows out of the vents. Whatever the temp is outside, expect the same in ur rooms. This place is and all around joke. Managers are very rude and did 4 home inspections and never fixed a thing. Worst place to live. Would have rather camped out the 10 months I've been here! more

i lived @ z-place for almost a year and id like to say it is the most gedoist place to live when i first got there i said hmm its ok then after living there a while i relided it was horrible.\r \r \r 1.the parking. there is no parking i hated this there would only be parking when you dont have anything to carry upsatirs BUT when you have grocwerys EVERYone wants to park infront of our housencasing you to walk a mile back and forth \r \r 2.theres some lady that feeds thoes rats with wings they crap all over the place cars every where. magment dose not do a notihng about it even thoe eery has compined \r \r 3.the BUGS there are nasty ass buggs in the homes theres roches aunts everyhting they try to say its an el paso problumBS i moved 3 blocks away and i havent even seen a fly in my new house\r \r 4. the pool it says a nice cool sparking pool more like an empty pool there is no pool they dont let you swin something about it being butly wronf\r \r 5. the mangors barly speak english\r \r 6.they tryed to say my mom dint pay her bill wich made my mom uoset cuz i was with her when she paid it so i found the recet and cussed thoes ptas out.\r \r 7.there is so much drug use going on there its not funny im a teenaer nd i see enough of it as is alredy\r \r 8.theres people trashing picking everyday and people brack into your mailbxes I WAS HAPPY TO LEAVE Cons: EVERYTHING more

My husband and I moved to El Paso around July 31, 2008. When we moved here the complex was actually called Mountain Plaza. Sounds formal, right? Well, I found this place online. Loved how the pictures looked online. Called in to get information, everything fit into our budget. We signed the lease before actually getting there. <-- First mistake. When we actually got to the apartments, and got inside our apartment. I just stopped at our doorstep and laughed and said ""You've gotta be kidding me."" \r This place was ridiculous! $750.00 a month for a place like this? About mid year of being here we were having MAJOR issues with our apartment and couldnt get out of our lease, so we contacted the office and demanded that they just trade us to a different apartment. About a month or so later. We moved into another apartment at the same complex. Well, I want to go ahead and give the issues with the first apartment...\r 1. The bath tub water literally backed up into our toilet while the water was draining out of the tub. Which lead to our toilet over flowing. This happened every single day. We called maintaince on more than one occasion to have them fix this. They always came but it was always done wrong. The first time they cut a huge hole in the extra room closet to get to the tub. This hole was never fixed until new managment came in. Note: This issue was still going on when we moved into the new apartment\r 2. Our air went out about once a week. We were told that it was our fault because we kept opening the door with the air on. Excuse me, but the door is going to open. It was not continuously left open. This issue was finally fixed by the end of the summer weather. \r 3. 2 of the 4 burners didnt work on my stove. This was never fixed after mulitple reports were put in. The no english speaking idiots just kept fixing the drip pans. NOT THE ISSUE.\r 4. The stove door didnt come all the way down. Sounds odd, right? Well the reason for this is because the building was so poorly built that it obviously was not meaured of how the stove door came down compared to how far the refrigorator stuck out. There was nothing they could do about this without remodeling the entire kitchen, which they would not do.\r 5. The patio had a huge crack down the middle of the concrete because the apartment was shifting so bad. You could also feel the slant in the kitchen. I also had a glass top kitchen table. Well it was so slanted in the apartment that I had super glue the glass to the frame because the glass kept literally sliding off the table frame. \r 6. When we moved in there were dog feces on the patio outside one of the rooms. How un-sanitary and un-healthy.\r 7. The parking in this place is awful. People park in handicapped parking spaces and do not get cited for it. I can remember on more than one occasion when we would have to park about 5 buildings down from our building because people would take the spots in front of our unit. Try doing this after going grocery shopping.\r 8. And the best problem of all -- My husband and I were laying in bed one night (please keep in mind our apt was a reverse townhome, so our bedrooms were downstairs and kitchen and living upstairs) While we were laying in bed, we started hearing something like water dripping in our closet. I got up and realized during the rain storm water was seeping in from under our front door and dripping down into our closest which was located directly under the front door. I went upstairs to see exactly what it was going on, and that is exactly what was happening. I immediatly called maintaince because I didnt want our clothes getting ruined. They told me, they cant work in the rain and will come fix in the morning. They did not wait until about 3 PM the NEXT DAY to come fix the dripping water. The apartments have gone under new management although the changes are small and a bit slower than I wish they were there are some chages happening, There is the occasional drawback but I am pretty sure they aredoing the best they can. We've been here just over a month, and I already can't wait for a new place. Our place is very small, and spotless because I'm a neat freak. We have no children or pets. The second night we were here, I was unpacking and found a palmetto (which is a nice word for a disgusting insect). We didn't bring these here, because we moved from up north. I later found several more. I have never in my life seen these, until I moved here. My husband and I freaked out and fogged the apartment several times and used ortho home defense max. I haven't seen any since, but I know they sprayed the whole complex. The pool was supposed to be up ""in a couple weeks"". Still waiting for that. Our air conditioner broke yesterday, also. Kind of gross. No one is particularly friendly, either. Pros: The mountain. Cons: Everything else. more

NOTHING REALLY SPECIAL AT THESE APARTMENTS. NEW MANAGEMENT CAME IN AND SEEMS LIKE NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK INCLUDING THE STAFF. IVE BEEN LIVING THERE FOR A FEW MONTHS AND SINCE IVE MOVED IN, IVE HAD TO PUT IN SEVERAL WORK ORDERS AND THEY STILL CANT COMPLETE THEM. I HAD A LEAK IN THE CEILING OF MY TOWNHOME AND THEY STOPPED THE LEAK BUT I STILL HAVE A HOLE IN MY CEILING FROM 2WEEKS AGO THAT THEY HAVENT PATCHED UP.\r \r AS FOR THE ""2 SWIMMING POOLS"" HA NO HAS BEEN ABLE TO USE THEM DUE TO SOME MODIFICATIONS AND INSPECTIONS THAT ARE NOT PASSED.. ON HAS WATER AND THE OTHER POOL WAS DRAINED AND STILL HAS A LITTLE BIT OF WATER ....DIRTY WATER AT THAT AND IT LOOKS DISGUISTING. IVE CALLED TO FIND OUT WHEN MY WORK ORDERS WILL BE CLOSED AND THE STAFF THERE GIVES ME THE SAME EXCUSE THAT ""THEY WILL BE OUT THERE TODAY"" OR ""THEY WILL CALL MAINT. AND IF THEY DONT GO TODAY THEY WILL BE THERE TOMORROW OR MONDAY"" WHICH MONDAY??? BEATS ME BUT I CANT WAIT TO FULLFILL MY CONTRACT WITH THEM AND IM OUTTIE. A FRIEND OF MINE USED TO LIVE HERE AND HAD NO PROBLEMS. NOW THAT NEW MANAGEMENT IS IN EFFECT, SEEMS LIKE IT MADE A TURN FOR THE WORSE. \r \r I LOVE THE LOCATION AND SCENERY BUT FOR THE AMOUNT OF RENT I PAY AND THE SERVICE THAT IS GIVEN HERE, IT ISNT WORTH STAYING.
