I was a resident of Z Place for 2 years. They still decided to screw me over when I moved out. Even though I paid my balance in full, Z Place charged me for an additional half month of rent because I was not in El Paso to fill out the 30-day notice (which extended after my lease ended. I even spoke with the apartment manager via email and phone to let her know I was moving out. I was in the military, so technically I was allowed to break my lease at any time with orders (which I had). Z Place ended up sending the matter to collections and messing with my credit instead of working with me or returning my emails. \r

Even if they are nice when you're renting, make sure you cover yourself once you decide to move on. Their customer service is terrible once you're not paying them.
