Yolandas Maid was wonderful! They responded to my email request immediately, sent a supervisor within days to look at my house and give an honest estimate of the amount of time and cost it would be for a really thorough cleaning and listened to all my priorities--for example green products when possible because of asthma/environmental concerns, focusing on getting rid of dust, cobwebs, which areas were wishful vs necessary. The estimate seemed quite expensive compared to other companies but seriously worth it! The two women who came, Martha and Ruby were awesome-so nice and professional, extremely punctual, didn't mind my dog, and were efficient and very communicative. They made sure I was happy with the rooms checking if I wanted something done and letting me know in advance what they thought they couldn't get to in the time frame. I would definitely use them again in a heartbeat. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to these things. :) more

Amazing group of cleaners at a phenomenal price. They specialize in weekday service and evenings. But with some smooth talking you can get weekend service.\r I would recommend for your home or office needs.\r ps. I have a great cleaner with them and I will share their name if you ask me direct, but she's so great I don't want to overwhelm her with requests. more

Wonderful Green Cleaners!\r Believe me when I tell you this company represents excellence! I love their timeliness, professionalism, they were knowledgeable, and especially the green cleaning products they use smell so good. I’m not easily please but when they cleaned, there was no dirt remaining…my house was spotless. I recommend them and give 5 stars for superb work. more

Too Slow and DID NOT USE GREEN PRODUCTS. The first thing the two women did when they arrived was to tell me they were starting work at 9:15 and they had 2 hours. This was before seeing the house or discussing the work. I knew they would be clock watchers.\r \r I told them I wanted to have the bathrooms cleaned, the kitchen cleaned and if they had more time to mop the floors. I have 4 bathrooms. They immediately said they didn't think they could finish the bathrooms in that time. they barely did.\r \r 2 hours...2 people and they managed to clean 2 bathrooms. We've had house cleaners before and 1 person usually can manage 4 bathrooms in 1 hour. I almost threw them out but figured they might as well finish.\r \r I sent an email to complain to them but received no response until the next day. I normally don't like to issue public complaints because my goal is not to hurt a business. Any experience can be bad one time, but when they don't respond quickly it shows they don't care what people thing and need to upgrade on their customer service response. more

Okay, I am late on writing this review. So sorry I am having Internet issues. I love these women! From the women in the office to the two women who came to my house it was a great experience. In my home we each learned something from each other...great household tips. I thought my grout in my kitchen was brown to almost match the tile...WRONG! it is a little lighter than my tile...feel stupid! this amazing women got on her hands and knees and cleaned the grout with a bleach solution. I have since learned that powdered bleach is the way to go...no harmful fumes. I did worry about them not wearing masks because of the fumes...maternal thing. I opened windows and turned exhaust fans on. Anyway, I will have them back...if they will come back!\r \r New company, just starting and if they keep continue their customer service policy they have a brilliant future. Oh, they were right on time too! Shout out to Martha and Beatrice..please let this be the correct names!\r And when they leave your house does not smell like chemicals.\r GREAT JOB LADIES. more

AWESOME experience with Yolandas Maids. So much that I'm having them come back monthly for me (I was looking for a reliable service). I've used them twice now and both times the teams have been super efficient and very thorough. They cleaned inside my oven, they removed everything from my shelves to dust (bonus points for not dusting around my stuff like I would!). They literally cleaned every surface in my home from baseboards, to bathtub and all the doors and blinds AND they made my bed. All in 2 hours. They are pro's and I'm very impressed. The Customer Service is really on top of things and very nice too. I highly recommend this company more

Yolandas Maid & Carpet has exceptional service all around. From start to finish. This is my very first experience using a cleaning service so I wasn't sure what to expect. My husband and I are moving from DC to Los angeles tomorrow and this week has been crazy crazy busy and made worse because I've been sick. Since the husband's company is giving us $10K towards relocation, we decided to splurge and go with a cleaning company to do a one time move out clean. I called Wednesday morning and spoke with a pleasant man who made arrangements to have two employees come by between 8:00AM and 8:30AM Thursday morning. He put my credit card on file and that was that. Fatao and Maria called me when they arrived and were so pleasant. They greeted me and dived up the apartment. Fatao got started in the kitchen and Maria began in the bathroom. I was embarrassed about the state of my apartment (and a tiny bit embarrassed that I am hiring someone to clean my apartment....I haven't told my mom yet and I'm sure my great grandmother, who cleaned houses just to scrape by would roll in her grave...or at least roll her eyes. If she still had any and they weren't decomposed....) Anyhow, they were great. They were so fast! We went across the street for breakfast and it was clean before we were done eating! It took a little over an hour.\r \r I definitely had my reservations about hiring a company for carpet cleaning that did not specialize specifically in carpets. But our entire apartment looks better than it did when we first moved in. I can't sing their praises enough. Please, if you are trying to bring the magic back to your carpet, (or at least just get your security deposit back) hire Yolandas Maids. Fatao and Maria were PHENOMENAL. My husband and I looked at each other and sighed yesterday when we moved the bed. The carpet underneath was a mess. We have a 1 y/o puppy that likes to drag things under the bed. There was a throw up stain (gross I know. don't judge us we didn't know it was under there!) and black spots from the coal he stole from the fireplace to play with. In addition to that there were two places where he didn't quite make it to the puppy pad in time and we didn't quite get to the soap and water in time. The carpet looks BRAND new.I admit I was skeptical when Fatao busted out a hand held steam cleaner with a cute little backpack attached. I expected it to look decent, acceptable. Just enough for our landlords to go to the bedroom, purse their lips, look around, pause and go ""meh""...then send us our security deposit. I swear this pair of hard workers revived it to its original form. In fact, ...I would seriously work them into the budget if we were going to stay in DC. At the risk of sounding like a tired commercial...""Yolandas Maids, you changed my life. Thank you soooo much!"" more

Yolanda's crew is a great cleaning service. I would give them another star for their rating if I could. Their bid came a little higher than this other service but i got good vibes and sense the professionalism and expertise during the initial estimate for a post-construction cleaning to our 7,000 square foot home. they tackle that dust like its nobody's business and we were able to move in our home in a matter of days. I am not only amazed at how well the staff cleans my home weekly but also how wonderful the products smell. I love the work they do. It smells great. Everything was sparkling. I could not stop smiling while they were working and I'm still smiling now. I am accustom to paying over $1200 to clean my properties but Yolanda Maid actually save me a few hundred dollars due to their speed and efficiency. Plus they have great low rates so I can afford to use them over and over again. more
