They don't recycle your recyclables 3/6/2012

I have a friend that use to drive a garbage truck for CLM and he said they NEVER recycled the recyclables. All the recyclables ended up at the same place....the landfield. Very Sad. more

Get Ready For A Fight 8/29/2011

We first signed up for CLM with a ""Web Special"" for $36 every billing cycle. All was well until the VERY FIRST BILL arrived which was way higher. I called thinking it was an oversight only to get a nasty lady on the phone who acted like I was ripping the company off ""There ain't no such thang as a web special"" she said. I then provided a reference number (which luckily I saved) and she said ""we'll make the exception this time""....confused I tried to clarify saying simply ""you mean to tell me the web special was for 1 billing period only?"" to which she replied ""I told you sir, there aint no such thang as a web special, OK?"" All of the people that are unemployed and this lady still has her job? In customer ""service"" no less? I'd be fired on the spot. From my experience, these people are literally and figuratively trashy! I would suggest looking elsewhere for ""REAL"" trash service. more

Do they understand ""recycling""? 12/29/2010

Since moving to Henry County, I have had CLM's service. Their price seemed reasonable in the beginning since they offered recycling with no charge on a space available basis. Well, you get what you pay for! On numerous occasions, my recycling (in the blue recycling bags not near the trash can) was trashed!?! more

I have been with CLM for last 4 or 5 years. I would like to give them a high score for professionalism and timely pick-up. I really like that recently they added a phone call if our service is changed for a Holiday. Thanks CLM for a great job!!!! more

We have been using CLM Sanitation, though it seems that they were purchased by another company, now Waste Industries. My wife and I were living in Clayton County, for about 3 1/2 years, when we first signed up, the service was just considerably good, they came, picked up the trash, but there were sometimes when they skipped, but came back the next day or following week. No biggy, the service was $33 for 3 months, then they raised the prices in 2008 because of the high fuel charges, that is understandable, it was $48 every 3 months, now gas prices have gone down, and today I received a letter saying the price is now $53.28 for 3 months. We just moved, so I will not be paying this bill, we now get free trash pick-up, or if you want to consider it free, as we pay property taxes, of course in Clayton, Co you pay taxes and still pay for trash pick-up. Good bye CLM and Clayton County! more

I'm really not the type who likes to complain, but I, like many others reviewing, have used CLM for several years. I actually tried to get away from them a year or two ago because of very poor customer service. Now we're back with them because they are the only trash ""collection"" business in our area. The people who answer the phone are rude/mean at best. They really don't seem to care too much about pleasing the customer. I AGREE with the others regarding the drivers refusing to pick up trash that is not inside of a can! There is nothing worse than having trash left out in front of your house for a day or more, or several days if you're missed, or they refuse to pick something up. And like the others, don't try calling because you will wait on hold for 30 minutes or if you have to leave a message, it won't be returned. This company needs to do better. more

I have also been a CLM customer for many years and have always been satisfied until the past 3-4 years. I understand that times are tough but to raise our rates ""because fuel went up"" but not lowering the rates back down when the fuel went down. more

I can't believe these people. I had some extra trash laid out and was even willing to pay extra to have it picked up but I was given 2 other phone numbers of business to pick up my trash. CLM Waste management 5/13/2010

They missed pick ups 3 times. Thw wheel was broken on our can, it took 2 months to get it replaced. We finally cancelled and that was a month ago and they still have not picked up their can. They never answer the phone, you always have to leave a message and they never return the call. I don't recommend them at all. Cons: Terrible service more

We are long time customers and until this pst year had no complaints. Then CLM added extra inconvenient restrictions, but we lived with it. Then they spent a month of mail and phone messages to let us know our pick-up day was changeing. Today is the third week since the change and they have not come to our neighborhood on time yet. I was told when I called that they would not pick up the next day unless someone on the street complained. That is the only way they say they know if service was not provided. I've been a customer for only a year and a half and never had a problem with the company until now all of a sudden. Last week my trash was not picked up and because there were only 3 small bags in it I didn't worry about it. Today they were supposed to pick up and have not been out as of yet. My can has been out at the curb since 7:30am and I work from home and haven't been anywhere. My neighbors' ( who is also a customer) can is still full as well. I contacted their customer service to ask if they are coming out today and the rude girl just kept repeating ""they have until 6 to come out"". I was never rude to her at any moment. It is now 4 (they usually come in the am before 10) and I will wait patiently and ""pray"" that they come out because my can is full and stinks and they have been PAID IN FULL. Cons: not getting what I paid for more

Trashy Service 4/10/2010

This is the worst trash company I've ever dealt with. The thing that sucks is that it is the only one in my area. They will not pick up your trash on the days they are supposed to -forgetting holidays. ANd if you call them or email them to come pick it up their always honest drivers say that the trash was not out and they send you a bill for an extra $10.00. In this economy people can not afford for dishonest businesses. They need to discipline their drivers and have them do what they are paid to do. What happened to working for you money. Absolutely the worst trash collection company! 12/13/2009

Their drivers are the laziest creatures in Georgia. Don't even attempt to try and recycle. Although it's now a law that they have to pick up recycling, they won't do it if it's cold outside because that would mean they have to drag their lazy a$$es out of their truck. We had to switch to a much more friendlier and responsible collection system, ADM. They are wonderful. I don't understand how CLM can do the business the way they do and still have customers. They are horrible, from the drivers to the people that answer their phone. Useless... more

Unsatisfactory Service- Grade: F 11/20/2009

Our experience with CLM Sanitation in Stockbridge, GA was unsatisfactory. CLM would regularly leave leftover garbage on the street. Multiple calls to their customer service were greeted by a difficult staff more concerned with covering each others back then caring for the customer. They have an outside vendor (Bill Matrix) that handles their billing and CLM accepts no responsibility for the mistakes of Bill Matrix (We also had billing problems). For Stockbridge sanitation pick-up, I recommend looking at other carriers like ADM or Robertson Sanitation. Pros: Pay every 3 months Cons: Got an hour? more

Poor service 5/1/2009

I had been a CLM customer for eight years until today, when I cancelled my service due to rude employees and poor service. I made an appointment to have yard waste picked up and it never happened. They where supposed to pick up on Tuesday, the truck finally shows up today, Friday. My next door neighbor was having her roof replaced and the workers trucks parked in front of my house were forcing my neighbors to drive close to the branches, putting them at risk for damage. I finally took care of my own yard waste. I informed the person that I spoke to over the phone that if they did not intend to pick up when they said, why did they have me bring the waste out. They kept putting me off and stringing me along. I finally cancelled. I am going to be using the county bags which cost no more than two dollars per bag, and since I go to the recycling center often, it wont be a problem, and it will save me money, which is a good thing. I admit, I lost it on Thursday with the person over the phone. Others would have lost it sooner. Treat others the way you would want to be treated. Even more so when you run a business. more

CLM Where Laziness and Poor Attitudes Thrive 4/20/2009

I've never seen a ""sanitation company"" aka; the trash man with such arrogance. For God's Sake you PICK UP THE TRASH. My biggest problem with them is the ""Claw"" that they use to pick up and empty the can; it promotes laziness. If something falls out of the can the lazy driver won't get out to pick it up. If there is an extra bag outside the can, the lazy driver won't get out to pick it up. If there is a car parked too close to the can, the lazy driver won't get out to move it. He destroyed my For Sale sign and has put divots in my yard with that damn thing. All the things other people said about dispatch and customer service; TRUE!! I saw their competition (now my sanitation company) Robertson Sanitation 770-944-4974 run up the driveway of one of their customers to retrieve a can that my neighbor forgot to put on the street.
