Best

Since we came back to Colorado 5 years ago,we rediscovered The Fresh Seafood Co. and have been good customers ever since. The food is outstanding and the personnel is so nice and...

Worst

First of all, the place was cold. The service was okay. I was really surprised that they had a list of 20+ sauces but no one mentioned anything to us about picking sauces. Howe...

Great Atmosphere 8/17/2006

We went there last Christmas Eve and was very impressed with the food. At first we were not so sure that we could find anything on the menu that we would like but the waiter was very helpful and asked us what we normally liked and then made recommendations. We were impressed with how good everything was. Pros: A little pricey, but good food more

Great for a swanky date. 7/17/2006

We went there on a double date with some good friends and it was good food and good fun. Try the pita appetizer as you can test some of the dips before your meal. We each had a different plate and loved our dipping sauces and were using each others as well! The atmosphere is very trendy, but not too cold. Our service was excellent. Next time we will have to try dessert! The only con - the prices were a little high. But worth it. Pros: Great food, great ambiance, great service Cons: A little pricey (18-30 for dinner), parking more

Even with a reservation. 6/18/2006

Stopped in on busy friday night and was seated within 45 min. 45 spent at the bar sipping a great mojito and noshing on the vesta tuna roll chatting with my love and listening in on the others around me..... what a shame. Great attention from the servers and very modern atmosphere... just a little noisy. You'll have to lean over to really hear what the other person is saying. Darn... we'll have to get close! Pros: Atmosphere, service, food quality Cons: noisy more

Great for kids 6/14/2006

Man does this place cater to children! It is sometimes hard to find a really great place to eat and be able to take the kids. Amenities include highchairs/booster seats, sippy cups and a diaper changing station. Not to mention the kids menu! I highly recommend Vesta for all kid accompanied restaurant goers. Pros: Kid and group friendly more

One of Denver's Best 4/15/2006

I ate here with two of my friends, and I think that all of us walked out with the biggest smiles you have ever seen. I am a huge fan of sauces, and Vesta has the greatest selection of the most unique, flavorful sauces I have ever seen. The chips and salsa comes with five or six different salsa's that vary from sweet to spicy. We each ordered three different sauces with our dinners (Ahi Tuna, Swordfish, and Salmon), so it was like getting nine different flavors of dinner. The desert was just as amazing. Including drinks, apps, dinner, and desert, we spent around $160, and it was worth every penny. This place is so amazing, I recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic evening. A must try. Pros: Sauces, Variety, Atmosphere Cons: Addicting more

splendid! 4/5/2006

Outshining the usual of customary restaurant places, Vesta implies a rich splendor into the unknown. The food here suggest the highest conceivable degree of radiance one gets upon having a taste of their ahi tuna ceviche, superb sauces and the gorgeous display of food color and textures. A friend I brought here said the food is orgasmic!! Oh, did I mention illustrious service? I dropped a fork, the bartender looks over and gave me another one in 2 seconds flat. I've lived in New York City for eight years, am putting this in my list of 10 best restaurants. Cons: Valet would be nice! more

Great Food and Service 3/17/2006

This is one of the best restaurants that I have been to since I moved to the city a few months ago. My husband's expectations were not high but he was surprisingly dissapointed. We had reservations which i highly recommend. The service was impecable, food to die for, and a very cool/relaxed atmosphere. It was loud but fun. Get the vesta roll, venison, taffy dipping apple!!! Only bad thing was parking- I would definately go here again in a heartbeat. Pros: Food, Service, Atmosphere Cons: Parking, Noisy more

MY FAVORITE IN DENVER! 1/20/2006

Vesta is my all time favorite place to dine in denver. We go her often for special occassions. with drinks 6-8 people spend about $300/ticket. so its pricey, BUT WORTH IT! the concept is awesome, the food is even better. GO!! you will LOVE IT!!! Pros: great food, round tables, big parties more

UNIQUE PLACE 12/20/2005

I had a great time here. I eat out often and this was a special concept. I wish we had something like it in Chicago. The drink menu needs help. They all sound good, but I tried most, and they're not. Pros: Atmoshpere, Food Cons: Cocktails more

Excellent across the board 11/28/2005

What else can you say, take her here! Food, Service, Decor all come together for an enchanting evening. They know what they are doing with every aspect of the business. Well trained staff, great wine list, food is excellent. Pros: Great Food, Great Wine List, Great Service Cons: lighting is dark more

Great! 10/21/2005

We were in from out of town and came to Vesta on a recommendation from our concierge. Vesta was everything that was promised. Our Server Kit was excellent and very helpful with the menu. There were seven of us and we sat in a very cool round booth that really created a great dining atmosphere. The food was so good and creative, so many different flavors, it was hard not to share. Vesta was a pleasant surprise from the beginning and I will surely recommend it to all my friends. Pros: Great Food!!, Atmosphere, Staff ++ Cons: A litlle loud, no parking more

Kids Love Vesta!! 10/21/2005

I've been going to Vesta for a while and my best friend and his wife go with their two children a couple times a month and their kids love it! They have a kids menu and even have cups with lids on them for small children. I believe the owners even have a child or two and seen them in there eating also. It's great place to go on a date or with the family. Two thumbs up! Pros: GREAT VIBE!, great looking staff, food and wine Cons: , make rezi's early more

not all that it's cracked up to be 10/13/2005

With so many restaurants on the rise in Denver, competition is fierce, and Vesta doesn't seem to keep up. The service is so-so, and the place looks like it's falling apart. I'd heard a lot of good things, but wasn't too impressed! It's too loud to be romantic, and not kid friendly either. Too many other places out there for me to go back again. more

Lives up to the hype 6/14/2005

So many restaurants in Denver simply don't measure up, but Vesta is everything it advertises to be and more. The food is superb, the setting beautiful and romantic. I have eaten there several times and have never been disappointed. The only negative thing I have to say is that some of the servers have that ""I'm hip and you are just Joe Average""mentality, but other than that, this is a wonderful restaurant to go to. Pros: excellent food, great atmosphere, ambience Cons: snotty waitstaff more

All other restaurants are GREEN with envy! 5/31/2005

The Vesta crew has delivered first class service consistently since I first went there four years ago - making it my absolute favorite spot. Vesta caters to every palate and every style. The food is sublime and unlike any other menu in town. The warm and inviting ambiance lives up to it's name (goddess of the hearth)...but it's the talented staff of servers, bartenders, hosts, chefs, and managers that make it divinely special. I've dined there alone, on dates, and in groups and have always been treated like royalty...regardless of the day, time, or server. I've commited their phone number to memory...so should you. Warning: Don't be charmed by imitations or less-than-wonderful knock off's...there's only one Vesta! ;) *150 words is not enough to describe this wonderful place!* Pros: High-Class Service, Delectable Menu, Consistently Fabulous Cons: Can get crowded..., ...but is that bad? more

User review by karikins 4/22/2005

My girlfriends and I were looking for a fun night out.....Vesta fulfilled our every need. We arrived, greeted with a very accomodating hostess, and directed to the bar. We were a little upset we couldn't get in right away, being a Monday, but we had SUCH a great time with the bartenders. We only had about a half hour to wait, but when our table was ready, we actually felt sad we had to leave our barstaff buddies. Try the mojitos, they're awesome! Their specialty cosmos are worth a try too. Even though the place was packed, our round booth was great- it provided a little privacy in such a busy restaurant. I definitely recommend reserving one of these booths if you can. Our server was fun and very helpful with recommendations. The food was amazing! We had such a great girls night out. We will be back soon. more

slow service 4/7/2005

Good food. Unfortunately, the wait staff was missing for most of the meal. Others tables looked the same. We sat down and waited 10 minutes until the manager walked by our table. He asked (without being prompted) if he could get us drinks while he tracked down our waiter. We received our drinks. We waited for another 10 minutes and the manager came by and noticed we still had our menus in front of us and asked if we wanted to order any appetizers. We ordered one and received it prior to our main course order even being taken. We were eating the appetizer with our menus still in front of us. The waiter eventually came but continued to be very hard to locate to ask for additional things or receive the bill. I don't know if I would go back unless the staffing issue was resolved. more

Great 3/28/2005

one of our favorites. had the salmon and hanger steak and both were excellent. favorites were the green curry and berry chutney sauces. Pros: Great food, Fun place, Original more

Have to Try 12/20/2004

You can read a thousand ratings, but go to Vesta at least once. Chances are you'll love it. Its a fun night out with delicious entrees and appetizers. I have been several times and never had a bad experience. You can even make reservations online, very convenient. Pros: Food, Atmosphere, Ambiance Cons: , crowds more

Tad bit overrated 12/9/2004

Vesta is a little overrated. The food is fine, and different in that it's all served with dips. I've been here a number of times, and while it's a fall back on my list of restaurants...it's no longer my favorite or even at the top of my list. Maybe I'm just sick of the place. It's been around for a decent number of years, and it's ALWAYS packed. It just seems a little rushed and the hosts always have an attitude. more
