Girls Night Out 10/6/2011

My girlfriends and I were having a girls night out. We went to the Vineyards to have dinner and the place was spectacular. Definetely exceeded our expectations. The service was amazing and the food was absolutely delicious. My girlfriends and I have decided to start coming to the Vineyards whenever we want to have a girls night out. :) more

An Unforgettable Evening 10/5/2011

My husband and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary by going to the Vineyards resturant. We had such a wonderful expereince there. The service excceded our expectations. They were very friendly and just made our experience and our anniversary that much more special. The food was spactacular. My husband and I consider the Vineyards our place to go now when we want to have a romatic evening together and of course start celebrating every anniversary at the Vineyards. I will be recommending this place for sure. Thank you for giving my husband and I an evening we will never forget. more

Romantic Evening 10/5/2011

My wife and I came in for our 28th wedding anniversary at the Vineyards Restaurant. Our server was very polite and friendly. He was very knowledgable about the different wines that was on the menu. We have never had such awesome service throughout our whole dining experience. They definetely went over and beyond to make our night special. We will definetely be coming back to the Vineyards more often and will be recommending our friends to the Vineyards. Thank you Vineyards staff for a wonderful dining experience. more

Oh my I must say....such an exquisite experience. I really had a wonderful time at this place. My husband, his business partners, and myself went there recently to unwind and it was amazing. I really enjoyed myself. Im going back next week....The Filet was just simply....Divine. more

Good Times 9/30/2011

A group of my friends went out for a special evening. We decided on the Vineyards because we have heard so many great things about it. I ordered the Filet medium rare. It was the best tasting steak I have ever eaten. It was so tender and full of flavor. Our service was excellent, timely and friendly. The atmosphere is also very beautiful with the scene overlooking the winery, but also romantic if you are taking someone special. I can't wait on my next trip back to the Vineyards. ? more

The Vineyards Restaurant is a great place to dine out. The food is prepared to perfection, the service is on point, and the ambiance is very romantic. The prices are great for the large portions your served. this is the perfect place for a date you want to impress. more

Most Romantic! 9/30/2011

I went out to the vineyards recently with my girlfriend for dinner. I had called in advance to book a "romantic package" which included a table out in the vineyard with dessert. They also gave me the option for flowers and champagne on the table. The flowers looked amazing and having everything outside really set the tone for my proposal. The dinner was fantastic, i had the filet with 2 colossal shrimp and my now fiance had the special that evening the sea bass. The service was amazing and they took care of all the details. I highly recommend going out to the vineyards, especially if you have a special occasion in mind. more

Our new getaway Spot!! :) 9/28/2011

We recently dines in at The Vineyards for my wide and I's 15 year anniversary. I had their Aged Filet which was cooked to perfection. My wide had the " Chefs Feature" The Ahit Tuna which was amazing as well. Our server was very polite and knowledgeable of the wine menu and helped us each find a nice wine to pair with our food. All in all a great experience and we will be back soon. more

Amazing Night 9/28/2011

On our recent visit to the Vineyards to celebrate my brother in laws birthdat we were kindly greeted by the owner Mr. Greer who had a tablle with a window view in their patio area. Our server was very accomodating and knowledgable with the wine/ food menu. Went over their features for the day and suggested their Lobster Bisq which im glad we all tried . The Lobster was succilent and the soup was to die for. We were introduced to their Vineyards Blended Wine which was paired well with our soup and Prime Rib. For dessert we had the Cheese Cake trio which went well with my Baily's and coffee. My family was very impressed with the experience . we're looking forward to coming back to celebrate our family reunion outside at the Grape Stomp more

Awesome Anniversary 9/28/2011

Recently visited the Vineyards Restaurant for my wife and I's 1 year wedding anniversary . We sat in what they like to call their "patio" which had an elegant view of their Vineyards . We were then greeted by our Server Chad Who helped us feel at home explaining to us about the restaurants history, weddings that were held there, and their very own wine. For Dinner we went ahead and went with there " 5 Course Meal" which also had a nice wine pairing with it. Ever course was spot on from the Parmesan Crusted Shrimp all the way to the 45 Day Aged Filet. I was very impressed when Chef Clayton came to our table and asked how everything was , explained to my wife and i how each course was prepared. I really wish more restaurants would do that. For dessert they had a table set outside in the acutal VIneyards with a creme brule paired with my fav. "20 yr Tawny Port" . All in all it was the best meal I've had in a long time. My wife and I will beback every anniversary!!! Thanks Vineyards Crew!!! :) more

A Night To Remember! 9/27/2011

Me and my wife have been out to the vineyards for two weddings now, but it wasn't until I took my wife out there for out 5 year until we realized how special this place was. The service and atmosphor was just outstanding. We arrived for dinner around seven and left just after midnight. We were not rushed for taking our time as we were walking the vineyards with our wine. The night was awesome and we will be back for years to come. more

Great Atmosphere and Food! 9/24/2011

We loved the atmosphere and food. We were seated in the downstairs wine cellar, which I think might have been the best room. Our server suggested that we walk around the vineyards with a glass of wine...which was very romantic. We will be back for the atmosphere and the Filet of Beef Tenderlion! yummy!!!! BEST & Most Romantic place in S.A. 9/6/2011

I can't believe I've lived in San Antonio 10 years and had not been to this restaurant - it's phenomenal! It reminds me of a wine country restaurant in Napa Valley but without the pretentiousness. Our waiter, Jason, was so sweet and recommended the Filet for me and the Chilean Sea Bass for my husband, and OMG squared! We bought a really nice bottle of wine and out entire bill was around $100 bucks. I've already posted on my Facebook account b/c it's soooo good. We already have a reservation for next month! :) more

Best Romantic Dining 8/25/2011

This place is always having beautiful weddings and banquets, because it is the perfect place for it. On top of that, they are a restaurant with delicious food and wine! Their sea bass that is on special is amazing! All of their appetizers are great too including the poblano corn chowder...YUM! The servers are always so friendly and recommend exactly what I crave! more

Romantic Restaurant 5/19/2011

I just had my wedding there on 17th May 2011. I found this place through various wedding sights. It took me weeks to pick a venue and decided on The Vineyards, due to high reviews and great pictures. Since I am a three hour drive from San Antonio I was not able to physically visit the venue. more

Anniversary dinner,, 3/29/2011

My husband and I had our 41st wedding anniversary dinner at the Vineyards. The ambiance was disappointing , mini Xmas lights hanging from the ceiling, expected a candle or a flower on the tables. The wait staff was attentive, but lacked expertise in wine selections. I had the steak and the garlic in the mashed potatoes was bitter. My husband has the sea bass and it was good. We ordered the German chocolate cake for dessert, the bottom of the cake was burnt. When we made the reservation, I mentioned it was our anniversary, expected at least a free dessert or a free glass of wine. Would we go back, probably not. more

Pretty good.... 3/8/2011

Good, but not quite as good as advertised. Went during a special occassion. The waitstaff has been good (not top notch). It did seem as though we got a new girl the last time. The food was good, but not on par with other top restaurants. The ambiance was nice...and the heated pavilion / strawberries / wine they do on Valentines is fantastic. Would probably go back, but not ready to make it a regular dining pick. more
