The Steam Team recently cleaned area rugs, upholstery and travertine tile in my home. I could not have found a better group to work with. Everyone from the owner, office staff and technicians who did the work was friendly, courteous, professional and went out of their way to please me and make it a positive experience. Mario, Anthony, and Billy particularly spent time explaining what needed to be done to make my old tile floors look the way I wanted. I will definitely use them again for other projects in the future and would highly recommend this company to my friends and neighbors! more

I called the SteamTeam after getting horrible results from a different company. Our light-beige staircase carpet was caked with years of dirt and ground-in soap from the previous ""cleaning"". The initial efforts by SteamTeam resulted in vastly improved appearance of the carpet. But as the carpet dried, I began to notice a missed area on the first step, and then a slight dinginess on the first three steps as the carpet dried completely. I called SteamTeam and explained the situation. They immediately scheduled a re-do. Rueben came and got the rest of the dirt out of the carpet. Now the entire staircase carpet looks brand new. I couldn't be happier with their service and professionalism! more

I have tried many other carpet cleaners but The Steam Team have surpassed the others. They are on time, friendly and go the extra step even on difficult stains on the carpet. Shon Edwards did a great job on my carpet and paid attention to detail on cleaning the dining room chair cushions, wiping the wood dry after the cushions were done. He made sure that the adjacent tile floor was dry and reminded me to be safe when stepping between the damp carpet to the tile floor. GREAT JOB, SHON! more

They originally gave me a 3 hour appointment window. But the service tech showed up right at the beginning of the appointment time which was really convenient. He also gave me a tip on how to get dents from the previous owners bed in the carpet up - by putting ice cubs on the carpet. I really appreciated that tip. more

I just had my carpets cleaned for the third time since we moved downtown, Steam Team does a beautiful job! Not only that, but the cleaners who arrived and very friendly and self-sufficient (which was a good thing this past week as I threw my back out 10 minutes before they arrived, needless to say, I wasn't in shape to do much explaining when they arrived). The team helped me leash my dogs (I could not bend), and when I left them on their own, they proceeded to get to work without my assistance, highly reccomend The Steam Team! We moved to a downtown condo 2 1/2 months ago, with two dogs! Beautiful place with hardwood floors, but carpet in the bedrooms. Well, only 2 months later, our carpets were very soiled (the dogs are still adjusting to a new schedule). A call to Steam Team and our dirty carpets were a thing of the past! We had our carpets cleaned by these guys once before and were very satisfied but we found a ""better deal"" from someone else about 8 months ago. NEVER AGAIN!!! We will never use anyone but The Steam Team to have our carpets cleaned. They gave us superior service and the tech, Alex, was very pleasant to be around. We have used The Steam Team for a second time and we were super impressed each time. It's refreshing to find great customer service and excellent results. We have tried every product available in the home cleaning aisle at our local grocery store, but did not see the results we needed on our carpet stains, from high traffic, pets & kids. I was able to go online and book my appointment with ease. I was contacted by a customer service rep via email to select my time slot on the day I requested. They were extremely accommodating with my busy schedule. Once the technician arrived, he was friendly, fast and did excellent work! The rooms look brand new and smell fantastic. Did I mention they are very affordable and do not try to sell any products or recommend unnecessary treatments? I was impressed when I receive a complimentary bottle of stain remover in case there are any accidents! I highly recommend their services to family and friends, so I thought I would share with all of Austin! more

Had a tech come out as part of a Groupon deal I bought specifically to clean my stairs. They look AWESOME! Like new carpet! Very happy with their scheduling and quick service. Customer service is great. I like when they give you a 'window' and don't wait until the last ten minutes to show up. That drives me nuts. So thank you for being prompt and providing great service! I decided while the tech was here to have my sofa cleaned. WOWZA! It is an antique passed down from my Grandma, and it looks so nice, I know she would be proud! Thanks Mario! I live in an apt. and I asked some friends who they used for carpet cleaning. I heard the STEAM TEAM was good. I called them and asked if they could clean apartments, and they said yes, but that they were busy and it would be 2 weeks. So, I get my apt. ready for them and lock my cats in the bathroom. The guy comes and says that he has never been to this apt and needs to find a water source or he will have to reschedule for a portable steamer to come. Of course, he cannot find one. So, I get a call to reschedule and it is going to be another 1-2 weeks. I told them that I was upset, because I had spent a lot of time getting my apt ready for them and I had told them that I was in an apt so, they should have made sure to know what they needed in the 1st place. The office manager reply's with, ""IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW WHERE THE WATER SOURCE IS."" I said ""WHAT, MY RESPONSIBILITY? THIS IS NOT MY JOB, THIS IS YOUR JOB. HOW AM I SUPPOSSED TO KNOW WHERE THE WATER SOURCE IS?"" He replies with, ""IF YOU WOULD JUST LET THEM USE THE SINK IN YOUR BATHROOM, HE COULD DO IT RIGHT NOW."" I said, ""I HAVE MY CATS IN THERE, WHERE AM I SUPPOSSED TO PUT THEM WHILE HE CLEANS."" He responds with....""IT IS NOT MY FAULT YOU HAVE CATS, PUT THEM IN A CLOSET OR SOMETHING."" I said, ONE OF THE AREAS YOU ARE CLEANING IS THE CLOSET."" He says, ""WELL THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM!"" OMG!!!!!! I am so pissed! I will NEVER EVER RECOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!! more
